One Of The Opening Lyrics Is Literally, “Drank The Blood Of Eternal Life And Darkness Might??” Eternal??

So, in the Mary On A Cross music video, when Sister gets into the graveyard, specifically when she’s in the coffin surrounded by the pentagram, we see her suddenly switch up and decides to let Nihil hit after running from him the entire video. Now, I might just be a crazy person, but I totally think she was possessed during that. Again, could be totally crazy and am reaching- but I think it’s a plausible theory. I also think that Copia and his twin(cough Mary cough) might be some form of Antichrist or half-blood- hence why he can see ghosts and no one else can. Idk. Am I reaching? Probably. Anyway, that was my yap fest of the day

My theory about Mary Goore- and why I think they’re Perpetua :)

Okay, so, I might rant a little bc adhd, but, a lot of what I have is more why I think Papa V might be Mary or at least inspired by Mary. I apologize for my scattered thoughts🫠 so, to start off, I have another theory that Copia and his twin are kinda like anti-Christ beings, as I think it’s a plausible possibility that in the Mary on a Cross music video, specifically when Sister changed course in the Graveyard and started to kiss Nihil while in the coffin, she was trying to summon something to possess her. Now- of course this is just my imagination going while and trying to connect dots that may not be there, but I feel like just the way everything was set up(the pentagram being surrounded in lit candles and in a Graveyard) was meant to look like a summoning ritual. I think it’s very possible that Sister was possessed and conceived Copia and his twin during that time, and they have some sort of demon blood(also a possible reason as to why Copia can see Ghosts still and no one else can)Now that we have that out of the way- why I think it’s Mary.

(1)In an interview, Tobias once said that Mary Goore is still somewhere inside of him, which I believe was in 2022(I actually did find the interview so If you want me to link it I will!)

(2)He recently rereleased Repugnant’s album, Epitome of Darkness, very briefly before taking it down. It could’ve been a slip(I also heard that it was because they found a few albums lying around), but I feel it was on purpose(or maybe a tease).

(3) the Skeleton imagery- Said album, Epitome of Darkness, is mostly composed of Skeletons, and now, Papa V and his ghouls are all heavily skeleton related.

(4) Epitome Of Darkness’ colors match up with Papa V, that being Purple. (5) in the V is Coming promotional art, they used the same font used in Epitome of Darkness.

(6) I have a theory that Sister Imperator was possessed by a demon when she conceived Copia and his twin during the Mary on a Cross music video- and in some of Repugnant’s songs, the lyrics line up with the narrative. I.e, “Evil procreation within the domains of Christ(A graveyard could be seen as a domain of Christ possibility? Lyric from Sacred Blasphemy)” “On this night, in this hour, we all upon ancient power(could be seen as Sister calling for something to posses her- lyric from Sacred Blasphemy)” “Drank the blood of eternal life and darkness’ might(Eternal- Papa V’s essential name- Perpetua-lyric from Hungry Are The Damned).”

(7) In 2018, Tobias did a collab with Emigrate on the song, I’m Not Afraid, Tobias went under the name of Cardinal Copia. Makes sense- he was Copia at the time and a song like that fits Copia. But, in 2021, Tobias did a collab with Me And That Man for the song, Under The Spell, but instead of going under Copia’s name, he went under Mary’s. Why would he do this if not to hint at Mary.

(8) Speaking of Under The Spell, I find that the lyrics are interesting. Ie, “wearing the mark of the devil since my rebirth,” “The dark era’s rising, you’ve been forewarned,” “I raise my eyes, pray to the moon,” “behold my return, you’re under the spell,” and basically just the whole song- I recommend to listen to it if you haven’t already! So, what does this mean in relation to the theory? Well, for starters, the moon imagery. I’ve already seen a lot of people compare Copia’s colors and Perpetua’s colors to be like that of a sun and moon theme(Copia having lots of golds and blues, while Perpetua has lots of purples and grays), and in Hellenistic paganism(I don’t like calling it a mythology- I am a Hellenistic pagan) the titans/gods of the sun and moon(Helios and Selene, Apollo and Artemis) are always considered twins, like Copia and Perpetua themselves. Also, the lyric, “behold my return,” also kinda reminds me of Hunter’s Moon, a song that has the lyrics hinting at a return of someone(“Under a Headstone, sister-“ maybe a sibling or family member? If we’re taking it in the context of the album, Impera, and not the Halloween movie).

(9) Also, remember that one image of Papa V at a podium? Well, on the podium is a Phoenix, which represents rebirth, immortality, and rising from the ashes- why is this important? Well, first of all- immortality- Perpetua- it’s forever. But not only that, in the Subvision song, Beyond The Moon(another Mary Goore moon reference), there’s the lyric, “Like Phoenix rose above the ashes,” which, I know, could just be a simile, but I feel like that’s important somehow.

(10) I know I’ve been making a lot of stretch’s in this- but hear me out on this one- looking at Repugnant’s album cover and Skeletà’s, we see skeletons that are in VERY similar poses- I’ll try to add pictures

(11) now this could be interpreted however, but in Catholicism, a lot of the focus is on the Virgin Mary, who is also called Our Lady Of Perpetual Help- or, shortened, Perpetual Mary.

(12) Now this certainly isn’t my last piece of evidence- but this post is getting long so idk. I would just like to point out that Perpetua and Mary have very similar face paint- ie, the cheeks being painted in black and the pointy lip.

Um. So I was trying to do a brief summary but this was longer than I expected. I left a few things out and didn’t go into much detail, but these are just some things I noticed with Mary and Ghost :) of course, I could 100% be wrong, and maybe the new papa is just inspired by Mary.
