Something I love about Thorfinn is his over-emotionality. How intensely he feels things, to the point that they seep into his subconscious, haunting him with recurrent nightmares and visions. While drawing these I was wondering about the depths of his guilt, specifically in relation to Thors.

Now that Thorfinn is a father, I imagine he understands Thors' fears more profoundly than ever. The fact that he ruined his own life by doing exactly what Thors feared most—his son becoming a killer—must weigh on him heavily. And perhaps, the realization that the immense pride he felt for his father played a part in his foolish pursuit of a meaningless "honourable" revenge that ended up scarring him for life only deepens his guilt. The first image is not a dream but a memory, hence the sepia tone. Kid Thorfinn peeking in on Thors having a quiet moment of fragility.

Got really into Vinland Saga recently. A truly special manga/anime.

How much I would ruin this Nordic blonde slut in bed, ah - pulling those golden hairs, sinking my teeth into those white thighs, sucking from the neck to behind the knee, reaching, uncovering, deliciously exploring all the sensitive spots, there would be no 1cm^2 of skin left without marks, sore breasts and swollen nipples for 1 whole week, dehydrated, without rest, without mercy, the natives of America would hear the crack of my hand hitting that huge ass, echoing across the Atlantic, screaming, roaring, moaning, begging, cursing in Icelandic used every possible word, drool dripping obscenely out of the corner of his lips, failing to breath, sweating like a blacksmith in a forge, eyes rolling back, the beautiful brown orbs teary, sliding tears down his cheeks, blond eyelashes moistened, pupils dilated, his face buried against the ground, arms and wrists tied, withdrawing the nerves of the foot, the mind blank, forgetting everything, revenge, of deaths, of sadness, of everything that didn't involve moving your hips frantically like there's no tomorrow, burning inside like wildfire, too delirious to want to put it out, almost choking on fingers playing in your hot mouth, overstimulated, hearing naughty words by the ear, not even being breathable enough to retort or disagree, involuntarily nodding to outrageous assertions accompanied by gentle licks and bites on the lobe- "Look at you now. Holy shit, you're handling it so well. So that's how you like it? Um? What a naughty beauty you are" and then, most likely, he will realize this and ask for more
