A Temporary Lie: Arch IV of my Space Junk AU!
These are just some doodles I made for the designs of the current characters (Urania, Zim, Red and Pur) and the picture for the new playlist. I still need to write about its plot on the main post but I will probably update it this weekend. For now I’ll just leave the playlist here.
I think I truly wanted to put this AU variation as part of the main one, but I was always like “Idk if everyone else would like this plot twist in the AU”. Now I’m just like “Fuck it. It’s MY AU and I’ll do whatever the fuck I want with it”.
The story about this chapter is practically the same as the last time I wrote about it (link here). However, I will add more plot stuff once I make the new update on the main AU post.
I'm happy I made this decision for my AU and I hope I can bring content about it soon!

irken x child dni don’t tag as genderbend or use she/her for him
I love how you’re both an angst and fluff machine 😭 and the other day my friend gave me an angsty prompt for my writing, that I thought I’d share with you!
“Your face is familiar, but… I don’t recognize you. I feel like I should. What happened to me?” -PRaZr, Purple lost his memories. Have fun~ 👀
Ah my mind goes to a scenario where Pur goes missing and Red sets out to find him. Once Zim inevitably hears about it he immediately leaves earth to help, much to Red's despair, but there is just no way to get rid of Zim once he's decided to tag along. Red ends up bonding with Zim against his will while they're searching together.
And when they finally find Purple, he's living some really humble life somewhere far from the Empire, and this line is the first thing he says to them.
Then the narrative changes from finding Purple, to finding out what happened and retrieving his memories. While dealing with a Purple that's nothing like the one they know, who didn't even realize he'd lived a different life until seeing Red and Zim just... sparked a really strong emotion in him.
Bruh that episode was so much but I am so so so HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!🥺😭😭💗💖💙💜
dib is concerned about the whole “new parents” continuity error, but red deadass is unbothered

Pokemon draws pt. 2/?? I’d never even heard of one of these but they’re all very good :]
uhh I'm just gonna ramble here but I like seeing Zim interact with the Tallest because Zim respects them, despite Zim rarely respecting other authority figures in the show.
When Zim almost lost Urth in "Planet Jackers", he got frustrated because the Tallest GAVE him this mission and he didn't wanna disappoint them or go invade some other planet instead. Zim ugly sobs in ETF after learning the Tallest aren't coming either.
And when Zim makes mistakes in front of them, he tries fixing that problem before calling them again. In "Invasion of the Idiot Dog Brain," Zim later calls the Tallest again to inform them he fixed the base's defense mechanisms. During "Battle Of The Planets," Zim frequently called to give updates about Mars.
And Zim always calls his leaders "My Tallest" or some other respectful term. In "Backseat Drivers" he even refers to the Tallest as a royal audience.
It's obvious Zim respects them, and tries using a friendly or professional attitude around them, rather than be demanding or annoying. It's mostly apparent in "Abducted!" where Zim speaks professionally during their conversation despite them (Purple) behaving kinda the opposite.
Zim's interaction with Miyuki was super brief (and he never spoke to Spork) in "The Trial" transcript, but either way he didn't show this much respect towards her in that short instance. Zim didn't respect Hobo 13 or Commander Poki much either.
And Zim is very vain. He is the type to abuse any upper hand he has against somebody, but he promises NOT to do that against the Tallest because he likes them so much in "Megadoomer" lmao.
Idk, Zim seems to just enjoy their presence. If they ever visit (which they won't), he would give them sandwiches and snacks or whatever as seen in "Backseat Drivers". Zim actually cares about their opinion and hates the mere idea of upsetting them. Because if the Tallest are disappointed in him, then that means Zim did something wrong and he has to fix it.
Also,,, Zim will always take the Tallest's words over literally anybody else's. For example, the Control Brains are the ones who assign Irken jobs, do the trials & evaluations, etc, but Zim does not respect them or their decisions.
Zim flat out ignores the banishment when it's issued by the Control Brain. Red also yells at Zim for blowing up all the invaders during Impending Doom, but Zim just took that as a compliment.
Even in Zim's Existence Evaluation during the "The Trial" script, Zim didn't take the Control Brains seriously until RED calls the entire trial a formality. THEN Zim becomes horrified about his situation.
Zim would rather believe Red over the Control Brains. Even in Zim's ETF Trial nightmare, he perceives the Control Brains as lackeys to the Tallest (even though it's seen as the opposite in the Trial script).
IDK.. the way Zim genuinely likes and respects the tallest is both sad and funny. The Tallest don't like Zim, but Zim always tries to impress them anyway.
And off-topic,, but I thought it was cute(?) how Zim didn't take Tak seriously until she said she was stealing his mission to impress the Tallest. THEN he got super jealous and annoyed by her presence.
Mentioning the Tallest was Zim's trigger for taking her seriously. He didn't want her stealing his mission that the Tallest originally gave HIM FF and then he got all mad at her plan to impress the Tallest too XD
