“The Instinctual Drives and The Enneagram”- John Lukovich 2021
it's not that you are lazy or don't know how to do it, you just don't know how to organize your time well, stop telling yourself that you don't have discipline or that's for other people and take action now!
start by organizing your current life
what are my goals? what would be my ideal routine? where can i start? what habits are stealing my time or are harmful to me? am i satisfied with my current life? what should i improve? what can i do now to improve?
after answering these questions yourself and having a clearer idea of what you want, write down your short-term goals (for example to become more disciplined in one month by creating small routines) and start organizing yourself, again ask yourself, what can i change right now? and for sure you can improve many things, you can start exercising, have a day and night skincare routine, go for a walk every day, write a diary, whatever you want! and propose to do these new things for at least a week every day, take it as a challenge, even if it is 10 minutes a day, but make a space in your agenda for this new thing you want to start, this is how you will start to create a discipline.
find your motivation
what are the long and short-term benefits you will get when you start this habit or routine? how will you feel when you get what you want, no matter how small? what improvements will there be in your life during and after this?
little by little
as i explained before you can take this as a small challenge, choose a new "harder" habit and another smaller one like drinking water several times a day, and to remind you of this you can carry a bottle of water with you (and i recommend this habit to everyone). if you want to start exercising and you always end up leaving it, propose to yourself the challenge of doing every day 10 minutes for a week and this way you will get used to it (it can be any task that you want to incorporate to your life) and enjoy the process, write or talk to someone how you feel, it may be hard at first but you have to get used to it, do not put too much effort during the first week, maybe there are days that you do not feel like it, but remember better little than nothing, but remember always do it for your well being and improvement, that is the biggest reason you will find.
it can also help you to keep a record of what you do during the day, you can write it down or use an app called daylio, by seeing your progress will keep you motivated.d
some ideas to train your discipline
wake up one hour earlier than usual and go to sleep one hour earlier
organize yourself every day with a planner as soon as you wake up
know your goals for the day
control the time you spend on social media or watching tv
don't give up!
after you have achieved your goal, for example, to lose weight, don't give up the habits you created, you have to keep them in your life so you have to create a routine that suits you and makes you feel happy and motivated at the same time. you will always have more goals to achieve. when you create a routine and a plan of action everything will be much easier for you.
Hi thank you so much for making a Blair Waldorf guide for me , please do on how to study like Blair Waldorf as well 🥺
time management
prioritize effectiveness. work smarter. make a list of your daily tasks and simplify from there. which tasks absolutely need to be completed today? do them first. how much effort does each task require? do the high effort, longer tasks first.
persevere
don’t be afraid to admit when you don’t understand something, but don’t give up either. always be willing to learn and have an open mind to new ideas or ways of thinking. even if it requires extra time or effort, do everything you can to be the absolute best you can be.
stay prepared
research and study the topic at hand precisely. study what is given to you, but don’t be afraid to look deeper. expect the unexpected.
keep going no matter what
we all know what it’s like to know you need to study but you’re feeling tired, sad, stressed. while it’s important to give your brain and body time to rest and recover, sometimes it is best to stick it out. get what you need done, done.
use all resources given to you
i know it’s easy to only do what is asked of you (like assignments and modules), but if you are given extra resources, use them! whether it be text books, extra videos, etc., chances are you will need them at some point or wish you had reviewed them during an exam!
confidence
sometimes confidence is half the battle. you’ve done all your readings, assignments, homework, etc., but you’re still feeling like you haven’t done enough or don’t know enough. trust yourself. if you’ve done the work, no one can take your knowledge away from you.
take breaks when needed, but know when it’s time to come back
don’t be afraid to pause your studying for what you need. food, a power nap, more coffee, a walk, a stretch; all these things may be needed during a long study session. pause, but don’t stop. don’t get too comfortable and stop way before you planned. take what you need and keep going.
hey girlies!! here are a couple tips i wish i'd known when i was starting up my own girlblog :) enjoy!
FIND YOUR NICHE -
decide what you want your girlblog to focus on. it could be fashion, beauty, lifestyle, self-care, a combination of any of these, really anything that excites you!! having a clear niche will help you get a loyal audience.
CREATE A GOOD USERNAME -
your username should be memorable and reflect the vibe of your blog. try to keep it short and sweet, and personally try to avoid using too many numbers or special characters.
some username ideas
sugarplum
cupcake
glitter girl
dainty daisy
peachy
DESIGN A THEME -
choose a theme that matches your aesthetic/niche. spend some time customizing it with colors, fonts, and images that represent your style. a visually appealing blog will attract more followers and is just nice to look at :)
POST REGULARLY -
consistency is so important! try to post at least a few times a week to keep your audience engaged. i'm starting to use the scheduling tool to plan out my posts.
ENGAGE WITH YOUR FOLLOWERS -
respond to comments, messages, and reblogs. making a blog is about building a community, and your followers will appreciate the interaction!!
USE RELEVANT TAGS -
tag wisely to help people find your blog. research popular tags related to your niche and use them where relevant!
FEEL FREE TO REBLOG -
don't just post your own content – reblog posts from other girlblogs that inspire you. this helps you connect with other bloggers and keeps your blog diverse.
STAY INSPIRED -
