Plot: Shanks asks the powerful Whitebeard who Is in his prime for a chance to date his daughter.

3k Fluff Event

Something was a miss.

Whitebeard felt like something was a miss while fighting Roger on a island, never mind splitting the skies with their haki and making the seas tremble.

Something was just a miss.

“Hold on a second, Roger.”

Whitebeard halted Roger from attacking with his sword with an irritated look on his face, Roger was a little surprised but backed off from Whitebeard.

“Something doesn’t feel right-Ah!”

Whitebeard finally figured it out as he told Roger to wait here as he rushed off back to his ship by passing the two crews that were fighting.

Back on Whitebeard’s ship a familiar red haired pirate was talking to Whitebeard’s daughter while another familiar pirate was trying to pull his fellow crew mate away, although his crew mate wasn’t budging in the slightest all the while eating a bag full of chocolate cookies.

“Shanks, we need to get out of here! Whitebeard will be here soon!”

“So? I’m just talking with..a really pretty girl.”

(Name) became flustered as she looked shyly away from a young Shanks while Buggy rolled his eyes at how ridiculous this whole situation was. The three had met before and this was just a one of the many times they would see each other. Shanks and (Name) particularly.

“I’m sure you say that to every girl you meet.”

“No I don’t.”

“No he doesn’t.”

Buggy added in knowing of Shanks’ crush on (Name), Knowing this only flustered (Name) more and Shanks could tell as he chuckled with a big smile. The two talked for a bit more with (Name) asking how did Shanks like the cookies that she made for him with Shanks giving her a compliment and practically eating the whole bag. Soon enough Buggy felt left out as the two were practically in their own little world, not to mention Buggy didn’t want to be around when Whitebeard showed up and if Shanks wouldn’t listen to his warnings then that was on him.

However, as soon Buggy was about to leave a gust of wind blew the young Buggy into Shanks into each other as the captain of the ship had indeed returned and he wasn’t happy.

“Get away from my daughter! You little punks!”

(Name) checked to see if Shanks and Buggy were okay as they held their heads while wincing in pain, with Buggy on top of Shanks. Whitebeard finally figured it out what was bothering him, his dad instincts had kicked in.

“Not this again. Dad, you can’t keep scaring away my friends.”

“Friends?!”

Whitebeard became annoyed when (Name) said friends, mainly because they belonged to Roger’s crew. Shanks quickly stood up when he heard (Name) call him a friend, thinking to himself that he was many things but a friend he wasn’t to (Name).

“We aren’t friends, (Name). I’m..I’m going to be your boyfriend one day. Maybe even your husband.”

Buggy felt his stomach drop as he knew they were dead now, (Name) became so flustered and bashful at Shanks’ confession that she hid behind her father’s tall leg.

“Roger! Come get your cabin boy!”

Whitebeard’s voice shook the whole ship as well as the island, none the less Shanks was determined as ever as he didn’t budge with his arms crossed to his chest. The two had a glare battle for what seemed like forever until Roger came aboard.

“What is it?! What happened?! What’s going on here?!”

“Your cabin boy Roger! He thinks he’s going to date my beloved daughter and even thinks he’s going to marry her. Boy, you’re 20 years too early to date my daughter.”

“That’s right Shanks, let’s go. Don’t want to die do you-“

“I’m not going anywhere Buggy. (Name) and I are meant to be.”

Roger was hunched over laughing while Whitebeard was the exact opposite as he could feel his anger boiling. Still, Shanks was determined as ever as he held his ground against a prime Whitebeard. Buggy tried to get Shanks to listen to reason but was shocked he was standing his ground. Peeking from behind her father’s leg (Name) looked at Shanks with a bashful smile on her face.

“Do you really mean that, Shanks?”

“Hm? Of course I do. I can’t wait to hold your hand.”

Whitebeard was confused now as he scratched his head as Shanks smiled while bashful at the thought of holding (Name)’s hand.

“Wait, is that all? You just want to hold my daughter’s hand?”

“Well, yeah. That’s what a boyfriend does right? Husband too right? They hold hands, right?”

Whitebeard had to take a deep sigh as Roger was still laughing telling Shanks to stop, Shanks was as innocent as ever as he was serious and had no idea what his captain was laughing at.

“I can’t wait to hold your hand too Shanks.”

Whitebeard and Buggy heard (Name) bashfully agree to hold Shanks making Shanks become starry eyed as he smiled the brightest smile, both Buggy and Whitebeard had a look of that read “They don’t what they are talking about.” Roger on the other hand was on Shanks side as he walked over with a bright smile on his face as well.

“Come on, give my cabin boy a chance. How about once he becomes strong enough he can date your daughter?”

Shanks was happy his captain was backing him up, White beard stroked his chin while thinking hard about the situation. Everyone was waiting impatiently for his response and eventually Whitebeard gave his answer.

“Okay, I’ll let you date my daughter..Once! You become the strongest of the sea. Like I said you’re 20 years too early for my daughter.”

“Done and done!”

Shanks jumped up and down before running over to shake Whitebeard’s hand to seal the deal. Whitebeard only nodded his head and told Shanks that he had a lot of work to do. Shanks wasn’t deterred as he gave (Name) a wink making her smile.

Roger sniffled as he fought his tears thinking to himself that kids grow up too fast.

Twenty years later Shanks did return to see Whitebeard and ask for (Name)’s hand to date her as he was now one of the emperor’s of the sea. Whitebeard while up in age now was still protective of his daughter accepted and once he saw the smile on his daughter’s face he knew she was in good hands as he smiled to himself. Whitebeard knew Roger was watching too even though he had long passed and he knew he had a smile on his face proud of his cabin boy.

That at the end of the day he sneaks away to technos base, and collapses into technos arms, so unbelievably tired, and techno doesn’t question it for a moment just gives the comfort Phil needs

how phil woke up early in the morning, leaving his little home quickly as to not remember anything of the day prior, inventory stacked with planning materials, scaffolding, emergency equipment, the likes of it. how he put on a brave face for his youngest and his youngest's closest friend, laughing and joking, suggesting how the new l'manberg could be better if they did this, or built this, and maybe redesigned this... how he doesn't once think about how they could touch the ruins of the explosion - how he doesn't even look over in that area. he catches a glimpse, once, and squeezes his eyes shut.

how he sees both tommy and tubbo off safely, eyes darting around with a borrowed crossbow in hand to make sure that they're safe. he doesn't want it to happen again. once they're out of eye view, he takes off to his, ah... eldest son's base, avoiding the rubble and disarrayed items as he goes, mentally noting which holes to fill in; all in attempt to keep his mind off the reality.

how he quietly closes the door and barely greets his son, embracing him so so tightly, tears that were held in for so long finally falling after days of a masquerade. he hadn't slept, he barely ate, he did everything to keep his mind off his other son - his dead son, his dead son he killed - and it's finally caught upto him.

techno understands the grief, guiding his dad to the table and letting him hold the hug longer than usual. sliding a mug across the table and preparing an extra bed for the night. neither will speak of it the next day, for they're both still grieving, but it's the silent connection between them that says everything.

MISCHARACTERIZATIONS OF TODOROKI SHOUTO

POLITE: Todoroki is not polite. Not even a little bit. It’s canon that his personality is not far off from Bakugou (who is outwardly abrasive and rude). Keep that in mind. Todoroki is not nice, especially to people he doesn’t like - he won’t outwardly say it unless someone asks him, though. A good way to think of it is, Todoroki is just as mean as Bakugou except he’s passive about it.

FORMAL: It’s canon in the manga that Todoroki doesn’t speak formally, out of pure disrespect for his father. The way he talks is very casual, and you won’t ever see him use typical Japanese formalities. Don’t be afraid to write him spitting out cusses either, as it’s also canon that he cusses like a sailor.

SHY: I understand how Todoroki may come off as shy, and I understand how this idea of him has spread throughout the fandom - but, alas, I am here to crush this character trait under my boot. He’s not shy - he’s introverted. He doesn’t go out of his way to talk to people, not because he’s scared of talking to people, but because he genuinely doesn’t feel the need to. He’s not afraid of coming off as awkward while speaking - in fact, in most scenes where he has dialogue comes off as really awkward, but he never cares. Todoroki isn’t afraid/nervous to talk, he literally just doesn’t want to.

RULE FOLLOWER: This isn’t a trait I see pinned to his character a lot, but I feel like it ties into the whole entire polite/formal notion that Todoroki has stuck to his back - and I want to address it. This boy goes out of his way to break rules - he doesn’t give a rat’s ass about authoritative figures. This has been shown multiple times throughout both the manga and anime (him not listening to his dad’s wishes regarding his quirk and him proposing the idea to rescue Bakugou). He also doesn’t care much for punishments. In conclusion, this boy is not the voice of reason in any situation ever - stop writing him out to be responsible!

EMOTIONLESS: Todoroki was abused his whole childhood. He’s not stoic in the sense that he doesn’t like the people that surround him - he’s stoic in the sense that he doesn’t know social queues, or how “normal” teenagers interact. He’s casual when he’s talking, but that doesn’t mean he knows what teenage slang is. He’s not a rule follower, but that doesn’t mean he understands the concept of “normal” teenage rebellion (drinking, smoking, partying, etc.). It’s really important to comprehend this part of his character because this part of him shines through the most. He’s not cold-hearted, he just doesn’t know how to interact with people correctly because all he’s known his whole life is a horrendous cycle of abuse. He doesn’t know how to empathize with others, and he also doesn’t know how to express himself properly. 

HUMOR: This isn’t a mischaracterization of him, but I do want to bring special attention to his sense of humor - as he is easily one of the funniest characters in the show. Todoroki and Bakugou share the same sense of humor, in certain aspects. Their sense of humor is dry, and they really like sarcasm. Todoroki also loves poking fun at Bakugou, by going out of his way to say/do certain things to provoke the hothead. A few good examples of this are: when the class is discussing their hero studies, and Todoroki keeps repeating that both Bakugou and him are falling behind in class eventually leading to Bakugou screaming in frustration. A second example is when Todoroki introduces Bakugou as his friend in the manga, completely disregarding the blond’s loud protesting. In general, Todoroki thinks picking on people is fun.

Overall, I think Todoroki’s character is approached incorrectly throughout the majority of fanfics written. He is a very hard character to capture, to understand - but once you delve into the type of person he is, and pay attention to the small details of his personality he is very fun to write. 

I hope this helped anyone who has trouble capturing the essence of Todoroki Shouto - I know I would’ve loved to have something like this when I was learning about his character.

Wilbur and Tommy literally every time something goes wrong on the SMP

The way Jschlatt’s voice echoed in the area… it seemed deafening.

All of those who attended the election, felt the tension in the air skyrocket as Jschlatt gave his first decree.

“…. is to REVOKE.. the CITIZENSHIP… of WILBUR SOOT! And TOMMYINNIT!”

The moment those words left his mouth.. all hell broke loose.

“NOOO!!” Niki yelled out, immediately taking a stand, her scream overlapping those around. Her hands covered her mouth slightly, her eyes wide in fear as she stared up at the new President of L’manberg.

Tubbo was… speechless, eyes wide in utter shock and disbelief as the deafening yells and cheers surrounded him. He couldn’t move… he couldn’t process this. He… he…

“NOOO!!”

Tommy.

“GET THEM OUT OF HERE!!”

Tubbo turned around, watching as Tommy stands from his seat, a speechless Wilbur sitting beside him. Ponk and Punz are quick to listen to orders from the new President, pulling out crossbows.

“YOU’RE NO LONGER WELCOMED!!”

Niki turned as she tried to rush over, but was stopped by Thunder, who tried to hold her back, seeing that George and Quackity were watching high above, near Schlatt. He feared for their safety, seeing now that Quackity gave a dark grin over towards them. They were stuck. He struggled, hearing Niki’s cries as she tried to get to Tommy and Wilbur, her expression twisting in pain and disbelief.

“NO! NO!!”

Tubbo went to move forward, but Eret was quick to hold them back. Tubbo snapped his head to stare at Eret, his gaze taken back as he could see the anxiety washing over Eret’s features.

That’s when Tubbo looked right to Tommy, the fear striking Tommy’s eyes as Wilbur immediately grabbed him, pulling him back as he turned to run, the arrows from those now attacking them flying by them.

“Tommy- To- TOMMY RUN!”

And like that, the chase was on, leaving the rest of the party from L’manberg, trapped under Schlatt’s ruling, their cries and screams echoing behind both Wilbur and Tommy… as well as the haunting laughter emitting from Schlatt.

One where y/n is pregnant but doesn't tell levi but he notices her morning sickness. so she goes on the expedition and gets injured so she becomes unconscious. And wakes up in the infirmary and levi finds out and promises to take care of her.

Pregnant

(Y/N) stares off into space in her room,  replaying the doctor’s words over and over again inside her head.

You’re pregnant.

Her hand was over her stomach. A baby was growing inside, her baby.  Levi’s baby.

She was terrified. They never talked about having children. A world where there are man eating beasts out there, having a child wasn’t ideal. (Y/N) assumed Levi wouldn’t want children in the first place anyway, seeing that they are so messy and a handful to deal with. He has enough on his shoulders as it is. Being the Corporal, making sure his men don’t die. He was fully focused on eradicating the titans, what would happen if a baby was thrown into the picture?

She sucks in a sharp when she realizes something. An expedition was coming up. She cannot let him know. If she does, most likely he’ll bench her and no way in hell was she going to let that happen. They need every soldier they could get.

Then what would happen? Would Levi even want to be with her if he knows? Her heart clenches. She didn’t want him to leave her. Looking down at her stomach, she hugs herself. For now, she won’t say anything. She’ll just have to find the right time to say it or figure things out for herself.

“Don’t worry little one, I’ll keep you safe.” (Y/N) murmurs.

Levi rolls over to the other side, his hand reaching out to bring (y/n) closer to him. His hand clutch at bed sheets. Opening his eyes he sees the empty spot next to him. His ear picks up on retching and he slightly cringes. The bathroom room was ajar.

Getting up, he shuffles towards the bathroom. (Y/N) was over the toilet, emptying her stomach again. Grimacing, he kneels down and pulls back her hair, rubbing her back. Once she finished throwing up, she turns to give him a small smile.

“Thank you…,” she says hoarsely.

“You okay now?” He inquires, helping her  to her feet.

She nods, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. “Yeah, I’m good.” She brushes her teeth to get the taste out of her mouth. He narrows his eyes at her. She’s been throwing up in the morning for a couple of days and he was worried.

Once she finished, Levi tugs her back to bed.

“You sure you’re not sick? Maybe we should go to the doctor.” Levi proposes as they slip under the covers.

“No!” She quickly denies him.

He arches an eyebrow at her, not expecting her to feel so strongly about it.

“I-I mean why bother? The medics are busy as they are, no use in going to them. It’s probably nothing, honest Levi.” She reasons, glancing away.

He wasn’t convinced, but didn’t push her. His arms wrap around her, pulling her closer.

“Expedition is in three days. I don’t want you to go if you’re not in top condition.”

“I’m fine Levi, I can handle the expedition.”

Levi sighs. No use in arguing with her. She was just as stubborn as him. He rests his chin on top of her head, closing his eyes.

“Fine. But if anything comes up, tell me.”

“I will…,” she whispers, her eyes glancing to her stomach.

(Y/N) struggles to focus as they ride on, her head dizzy. She threw up again this morning and Levi really was about to pull her out of the expedition but she stood her ground against him. Now she was wondering if it was a good idea.

A horde of abnormals come out and they fly into action. Oh god flying was the worst. It threw her completely off balance and she wanted to throw up again. She pushes the bile down in her throat as she slices the nape of a titan.

All of a sudden she sees a shadow looming over her. Shit, she doesn’t have the time to move out of the way. Her arms instinctively go around her stomach as she got smacked to the ground. Pain explodes inside her body as she lets out a sharp cry of pain.

Her vision starts to fade. Before she lost consciousness, she heard a faint shout of her name.

(Y/N) stirs, her senses coming back to her. Man everything hurt. She feels something holding her hand. Opening her eyes slowly, she sees that she’s in a white room.

Looking over, she sees Levi next to her bed, clutching her hand tightly. There was this expression on his face and she knew that he knew. She looks away from him, staring at the wall. Her other hand rests on her stomach.

“Doctor said you’ll be fine. You and the baby.” He says.

Relief floods her system for a brief second until she realized that there were things to talk about now. Hiding this was over.

“Why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant?”

She bites her lips, thinking of what to say. His hand holds her face, forcing her to look at him.

“I-I didn’t know how…I didn’t know how you would react to it and if you knew you would’ve benched me for the expedition-”

“Of course I would’ve!” He cuts in, his voice raising a few octaves. “Goddammit (y/n), you are carrying our baby, what if they got hurt!?”

She averts her gaze away in guilt. He was right, what would she have done if something happened to their baby?

Levi sighs, calming down. “Don’t keep things like this from me.”

“I understand…,”

She snaps her gaze to look at him when his hand rests on top of hers, the one on her belly. “We’re having a baby (y/n).” He says softly, his eyes warm.

 She gasps at his tender expression. “We are.”

“I’ll protect you, you and our baby.” He declares. This was a turn of events, but he didn’t mind having a mini copy of him or (y/n). He has to train harder to kill all the titans so their children could have a peaceful life.
