jews have been sounding the alarm about the rise of antisemitism and neo-nazi rhetoric around the world for years now, and have been largely dismissed by all sides of the political spectrum. they’re playing the victim, they’re exaggerating, they’re lying, they’re a distraction from other more important issues, etc etc.

i hope this can be a wakeup call for many. if this is shocking to you, i urge you to find jewish voices and creators to follow. antisemitism is a canary in the coal mine for fascism and jewish people are the ones most equipped to recognize it and oppose it.

we will all need each other more than ever for what’s to come. make sure the coalitions and networks you build include jewish people too.

It's better to "test" the road by accelerating quickly than by slamming on the breaks. One is how much you won't move and the other is trying to stop moving, which is more dangerous.

Winter Driving Tips from Your Internet Brother:

Make time to scrape off your car before you go. Scrape off all of your car. This means the roof and the rear windshield as well.

If the road looks wet but you’re not sure if there’s black ice, look at the wheels of the car in front of you. If you can see droplets flinging up, the water on the road is not frozen.

Your stopping distance will increase exponentially with how bad the weather is. Give yourself at least twice as much room to stop as you normally would.

If your car is going out of control and you HAVE to hit something, aim for something soft (snowbanks are softer than trees) and hit that thing at an angle.

Never get in the car without a coat, hat, and gloves.

If your car is out of control, look and steer where you want your car to go.

Take your car to an empty parking lot with snow in it and purposefully lose control. This will teach you how to handle your car.

If your car is real wheel drive, put something heavy in the trunk to give you better traction.

Take 5mph off the speed limit for bad weather, 10mph off for really bad weather.

If Section 230 gets repealed or modified, the internet as we know it will radically change forever. Content policing will be that much worse; and either the guidelines will be so restrictive it’ll squeeze the life out of their sites, or sites will close their doors all together by not being able to meet the moderation demand and not wanting to risk being liable. 

Unlike SOPA way back in the day, this one is quietly flying under everyone’s radar so there’s no big pushback like last time, so there is a very real possibility this goes down in the worst way possible. Warriors headcanon: He's the hero before Wild. He's the Hero from 10,000 years ago. He fought the first Calamity years after his first adventure, won, and saved Hyrule. Except at the time of Linked Universe, he hasn't yet fought the Calamity. He does not know that Wild's past is his future.

Wild headcanon: He's dreading meeting the hero from the first calamity, because what would they ever think of him if they knew he failed? He's positive the Hero of 10,000 Years Ago would hate him. He's convinced they would see him as a failure. He does not know the Hero of 10,000 Years ago is his brother.

Warriors headcanon: He likes Wild. Wild is his brother. He's knows he comes after the others, and everyone knows Wild comes at the end. Which means he's sometime after Twilight/Legend/Wind and before Wild. Wild's story is a tragedy to him. Wild's story doesn't have a happy end, in his eyes. He wants to prevent it from happening at all, but if he can't, then he'll prepare Wild as best he can. Warriors is the reason the Yiga exist, but he's also the reason the Shrines were built.

Wild headcanon: He's not actually that upset over what happened to him. He's sad he lost his memories, but eventually he learns to live with the fact that he'll never recover all of them. He's sad about what happened to the Hyrule from his memories, but he loves the Hyrule he lives in now. He's got trauma from dying, but he's also got so much to live for. He mourns what he's lost, but he thanks the Shrine for a second chance. Wild's story, to him, is that of a resurrection. His story has a happy end.
