So BTS announced that they're doing their military service within the next couple of years and they're coming back as a group in 2025.. thoughts? I saw it coming tbh but I'm more upset than I thought I would be :(

i'm actually way less upset than i thought i'd be???? like i feel weirdly calm and fine, but maybe it hasn't hit me yet or something, idk. i feel like i got used to it slowly over time bc i knew they'd never accept any kind of exemption or special treatment, so now i'm just relieved the endless debate is over and the south korean government/media can't hold this over their head anymore. i also like how this will give them each time to do their own thing and explore their own style, like with their solo albums and stuff, and there'll be less drama (with the fandom, i mean), plus i know hybe and i KNOW they've got endless content prepared, like how when they went on one month breaks in the past and it was new videos and stuff basically every single day. like i saw somebody floating the idea of an album of concert remixes??? just imagine
