Field Service Management is a type of software which helps an organization to simplify its field operations by automating them. FSM includes the detection of a field service need, scheduling and making the best use of the technicians on the field, thanks to Artificial Intelligence.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) are revolutionizing all the industries and field services is not left behind. AI in collaboration with technologies like AR and IoT will provide better device maintenance, repair, service, and other facilities as well.
• Supported By Chatbots
Chatbots have simplified and have made communication more effective thereby providing a seamless experience to its customers. AI-powered chatbots are smart as they work according to the need of the customers; they comprehend easily if a client requires additional information or whether they require assistance in resolving any issue. Smart algorithms power chatbots and determine all necessary information before dispatching a technician.
• Informed Scheduling
AI sensors deployed on machines emits alerts regarding the state of the machinery which informs the stakeholders to take necessary actions. Informed scheduling ensures that all the field services take place timely and making it cost-effective for organizations. The field service enables the workforce to work where it is needed, satisfying the customers and enriching the job of the workforce.

Technology continually disrupts every area of people’s lives, resulting in constant shifts across all segments of society. The education sector is no exception. Technology is leading a revolution in the way students learn today. It is helping to solve the problems of scale, quality of education, and learning ability of the student.
Teachers can now reach every student through digital screens, enabling each of them to get the same content. Student engagement is higher as it combines various instructional styles. In addition, each student gets exposed to a world-class education, which is not available in a chalk and talk method.
Digitization of education helps in modifying the learning methods by utilizing digital tools, such as smart-boards, LCD screens, and videos. The shortage of teachers can also be addressed by delivering the information remotely across several locations to the learners through interactive digital media.

Ever wondered how groups of cells managed to build your tissues and organs while you were just an embryo?
Using state-of-the-art techniques he developed, UC Santa Barbara researcher Otger Campàs and his group have cracked this longstanding mystery, revealing the astonishing inner workings of how embryos are physically constructed. Not only does it bring a century-old hypothesis into the modern age, the study and its techniques provide the researchers a foundation to study other questions key to human health, such as how cancers form and spread or how to engineer organs.
“In a nutshell, we discovered a fundamental physical mechanism that cells use to mold embryonic tissues into their functional 3D shapes,” said Campàs, a professor of mechanical engineering in UCSB’s College of Engineering who holds the Duncan & Suzanne Mellichamp Chair in Systems Biology. His group investigates how living systems self organize to build the remarkable structures and shapes found in nature.
