Expression studies with the Malevolent boys

Sinner redesign! I just wasn’t vibe with the original design so I kicked it up a notch to make these two!
For those who are unaware, Sinner is an entity for my Malevolent AU, Chaotic Minds. In this AU, instead of the focus being John and Arthur, it’s Kayne and Darthur. Arthur in this AU becomes LESS human, eventually leading to the two merging into one, becoming the god of chaos, music, and escapism, Sinner. Feel free to ask questions!
River and Styx, avatars of the End
These are some new OCs and they were made for both TMA and non-TMA uses but I’ll just give the TMA lore.
They are avatars of the end that died together centuries ago. Now they lead people to their death with their music. If you hear sweet music coming from the bayou, it’s time to go. In general, they are fairly relaxed individuals and are not nearly as malicious as most avatars. They also have a pet gator named “Ferry”. She’s the most spoiled gator in the whole south.
I know literally no one fucking cares except me but I’m so close to doing a post on prayer beads because so many draw Oscar in a rosary and the beads are *so* close. So closeeeeee.
Give that priest some accurate Catholic drip. Let that father slay.

My thoughts on “AI Art”
What people don’t get is that it’s not about the art! If I just wanted to look at something pretty, I’d look it up. No. Art isn’t about the product, it’s about the PROCESS. It’s the joy in creating, in pouring your soul and love into this beautiful piece and knowing that YOU created it. Do we have something to look at once it’s done? Yes! And that’s amazing! But it’s about looking at it and knowing that you put in the work to make it beautiful.
Ai art? What did you do? You wrote some words down? What else? What do you have to be proud of? What did you make? What did you pour your heart into that you can look at and say “I made that”? Huh? Nothing. You look at it and all it is is a collection of other artists, other people, other HUMANS that had their souls ripped from those lines and colors to be pieced together by a machine to make an image. It isn’t art. It isn’t. Art takes humanity and when that PROGRAM generates a piece, all the humanity was boiled out of it in those servers it used.
Is it an image? Yes. Is it beautiful? Some say so. But there is no one to look at that orphaned amalgamation, at that Frankenstein of true beauty, to say “I made that and I am proud of it.” It is cruel to everyone involved.
Art is never about the product. To create is to be human. There is no such thing as “bad art” that was made by a person because art is about expressing and you putting pen to paper or clay together or music notes or ANYTHING is expression.
“A.I art” is not art because art takes humanity and this has no humanity left.
Recently did a very fun art trade/collab with @unfairlyfallen ! We finished each other’s sketches, doing Oliver Banks and Gerry Keay. I sketched Gerry and finished their Oliver! I’m rather pleased with how our styles mixed! (Their sketch under the cut).

I went absolutely crazy because it’s a scratch nightmare AND the finale, so plot doesn’t exist to me anymore and I’m having SO MUCH fun thinking of everything that could happen. btw I’m feeling really good about the middle and fourth column and the middle row

I actually use the Dark Arthur concept for my main AU (Chaotic Minds) and I view them similarly.
For those who don’t know, I created CM out of a “what if” where the story focuses on Dark Arthur and Kayne as a piece of Nyarlathotep that was severed instead of the KIY. Me and the others working on it have found that they play well into a “I love you so much that I want to devour you” type thing. They’re a bond forged by blood (as OP stated before), but they actively feed into each other. CM!Darthur cuts his arm off in a psychotic break related to his rejection of touch from Kayne. Their “loving touch” is more about biting and scratching, leaving marks to show their love. In the end, Arthur is much less human than they began.
I always love to see different interpretations of Darthur.
DARK!ARTHUR/JARTHUR RANT !!!!
i think dark!jarthurs are a bond made in blood. i mean, orig jarthurs killed people too, but they bonded in other way, through circumstance and love mostly, whichever kind of love it may be. dark!arthur didn’t want to depend on dark!john unlike og!arthur, he found him an even awful… -er being, he wanted him gone so much he cut his arm off. He was scared much more than og!arthur. but even if d!arthur resented d!john, they still were together. so they still got close and began understanding eachother more. they are like a poor old couple that doesn’t bicker, just sits together in a sad haze. neither of them wanted this, but they have this nonetheless. d!arthur is sorry for taking d!johns autonomy, in return, d!john is sorry for taking d!arthurs eyesight, even if it wasn’t voluntary. i don’t think they would have that much arguments as og!jarthurs, at least later in the story. d!arthur takes d!john as he is, and d!john understands that, and he wants to change, to be better because he cares for d!arthur. i think they would cooperate more than og!jarthurs, sorry…
all that is to say that dark!arthur would be more gentle to dark!yellow, if he would even exist in that universe
also i think that after d!john took over d!arthurs arm, he would immediately start calling it d!johns. not because he respects d!johns autonomy, but because he would be so repulsed by the fact that d!john has control over his arm, he would rather lose it. verbally and in mind, i mean.

When I did my first art piece, I asked myself "how do I convey this expression on an unsettling, unblinking man?" Then I remembered that 'I' am an unsettling, unblinking man, and my stupid eyes are under utilized.

The Spiral (6/15) “Laughing Dog”
I’m finally restarting this series and starting strong with this spiral good (bad) boy! I’m much happier with my creature design now.
The Laughing Dog is a creature of the spiral that finds its home in old, winding buildings. Its laugh can be heard for miles and is alluring to the curious. Once within the building, its laugh can be heard echoing through the hallways but its main hunting tactic? It’s stretching body. Its midsection can stretch VERY FAR, making it appear as though there are multiple creatures you can see peaking around corners. If you come up on its tail, you turn to run and are suddenly faced with its mouth. You can’t escape it. As soon as you look into its mouth, you are paralyzed with fear and that’s when it devours you.
I will not apologize.
How does alastor starve? I know you said he doesn't eat because he's a cannibal. Is it because of a guilt thing? Or does his body force him to throw it up?
Oh good question! It’s definitely not a guilt thing. Here’s the kicker…his teeth are a screen! He physically cannot open his mouth at all. His teeth light up as he talks but his real voice comes from the radio in his chest. He also can never change his mouth shape so he’s ALWAYS smiling, no matter what.
