‼️🚨FABLE OC FABLE OC🚨‼️
Remember this guy ???
Well this is him now
Feel old yet?
Ok but in all seriousness I am so proud of how far my art has come over the last few years or so. Pose references and digital art has literally saved my life!!!
First drawing of Braeley Briggs in so long and I am so proud of how he turned out, thank you Jaskier from the Witcher for being the reference for this drawing. Coming up to the one year anniversary of when I made him
Haha look what I made
I'm reading through the Red Dwarf TV Tropes page, and...
I never made this connection :(
Episode 8 killed me. I LOVE HALBRAND SO MUCH. WHYYYYYY?
(I actually have been doing so, pressing A when I can stand in front of him... waiting in intervals of awkward silence for the next idle line to be delivered... Being scared to get too close and disengage a convo happening between characters without my presence in front of them... I am not okay I'm telling you BAHAHAHA)
Fable OC again
Braeley is mildly concerned
Reaver's home is always in dissaray. Showcasing the utter state of his mind and the level of depression he is enduring.
His hedonistic lifestyle is a symptom of his Immortality. His inability to feel alive anymore and as such, his endless search for something that will make him feel again.
Everything is also a desperate attempt at a distraction. He is plagued by nightmares of what happened in Oakvale, as such, the women and men, the parties, the fighting, the drinking. It's all a way to distract himself. And since he can't die, he can abuse it to extentions far above what mortals can do. It's terrifying.
Having lived for so long. His utter disregard for human life is relfection that he doesn't really see anyone as real people. He's watched people come and go. The only real people, the only people he's ever had any tangible bonds and attachments to are ash under Oakvale. The world isn't real to him, not like it used to be. (Think Solas from DAI)
I always wondered if him becoming Immortal had less to do with a fear of death, and more of a self-righteous notion that he had to be some eternal guardian. Having Hero blood, the Reaver from before helped people. He had a loving community. A wife he loved (or just a lover or even a daughter or a sister) He was by all accounts, a hero. And with being put on a pedastel, he decided he needed to be around in Albion for all eternity. The price of his Hubris was everyone he ever loved.
However, under the notion that he finds love again with Sparrow;
He kicks the Travelers from Bower Lake because they're a reminder of Sparrow (who is dead by the time of Fable 3) Sparrow was raised by the travelers. In every way except blood, they are Sparrow's people. Reaver doesn't want to look from his mansion and see that reminder of them. So he boots them out. Likely to also get back at Sparrow for dying and leaving him.
Also his entire thing about essentially ruining Albion also makes me wonder if he's trying to get back at Sparrow for dying. Making the place they wanted to protect a miserable hell hole.
Simultaneously, while masking it as pure and utter greed (and it likely is also this) he's trying to help Logan live up to the impossible standards set on him after Sparrow. Who was a beloved, benevolent ruler.
He stays at court to be nearer to his children. (or, with M!Sparrow. nearer to his lover's children) the only piece he has left of Sparrow.
Ok that’s fair. Good luck 👍
I'm writing a fic between Reaver and Sparrow during before reign as Queen and I need you to know that The Great TV show is literally my source of inspiration because CATHERINE AND PETER ARE REAVER AND SPARROW
Melody-British-Any Pronouns-17I am the essence of the Triforce!(then the triforce is just Logan, Reaver and Ben)
