This is why we stand One With Them.

At Easter, persecution increases for Christians around the world in both severity and likelihood. Year after year we see attacks, and today is no different. 

Today, as we gather to proclaim the resurrection of Jesus, our brothers and sisters in Sri Lanka gathered in the same name but not in the same safety. Our hearts break as we think of those who have lost their lives, those who are injured and all those who are suffering through these traumatic events.

“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it”

1 Corinthians 12:26

We are praying for Sri Lanka. We are praying for all those who cannot gather safely to worship Jesus this Easter. We will not forget our brothers and sisters in Christ. We stand one with them.
