Hyu (Hi-you) Hyu is the God of baking, ovens and bread. He is the “Baker of the Gods.” He is also the god of bread making, mills, harvesting wheat, the grinding of flour, acorn gathering and the patron of bakers. He is the son of Amaetheon and Deanna. His man means “Flour.” Hyu is a master bread maker. He has his own room and kitchen at Alaway, where he makes all the feasts for the divine Akua family each morning and night, particularly the daily first loaf, which is divided up among the gods. He taught the first mortal tribes how to harvest and prepare acorns for bread making. The bread he makes for the holy family is the most sacred. Hyu is also the guardian of mills. His image was always depicted on mill doors and all mills had a small shrine to Hyu. Hand mills are blessed in Hyu’s name.
The 7 days Hyu spent with the first tribes to teach them the arts of bread making. This was one of the key elements that brought on man’s survival. So grateful were the tribes, that they build a special temple to Hyu in the shape a mill, instead of the typical shape. The altar as well was designed in the shape of a millstone.
Hyu is depicted as a man of full age, His hair longish and brown, often seen in workman’s clothes of earth tones and a bakers tan tunic. He carries a broom-staff to which is bound his bread-board with red fillets, a color sacred to him. Offerings to Hyu are in the realm of bread, wheat, flour, acorns, and other grains that are made into flour. Special gifts also consist of elaborated carved spoons, brooms, bread-boards, honey and herb cakes. Hyu’s totem is the mouse, the symbol of abundant wealth.

Kobattii (Kho-bha-ty) TheKobattii are a form of Kii (Spirit/Faery) that guard sacred spaces, most of the time being Temples and Shrines. Bowynn temples will have images of Kobbattii above the archway of temple doors and small votive images etched or places next to small shrines.
The Kobbattii, like most of the world's Kii were created by the Gods Brand, Kord and Brenda to ward off the ills of the God Mano and his malicious spirits, the Tii. It was the Kobbattii that took up residence in temples and shrines to guard and protect them and the bodies there-in . Being numerous but having no sacred text about them (outside of their creation) names of the Kobbattii do not exist.
The Kobbattii are one of the very few of the Kii that bear armor and weapons. They are depicted clad in armor and bearing shields with the image of a turtle on it. It is their shields that are said to be the apex for protecting sacred sanctuaries. Their shields are often seen raised high. Sometimes they are helmed and or times not. The Kobbattii are seen as both young men and women without wings. When not depicted or seen in their immortal form they will take the images of turtles, which is their totem animal. Seeing a turtle or tortoise in a cemetery assures the place is well guarded. A temple will often have a small garden out front, housing a couple of turtles. Sacred gifts offered to the Kobbattii are normally incense or small votive images. But during the holiday of Kykora, the offering level can encompass any of the 7 sacred forms of offerings including full meals or huge baskets of flowers.

Today started the first of the 3 day holiday of Ky'Quilla, which some may dare to equate with the Wiccan holiday of "Beltane". Ky'Quilla falls on April 30th, May 1st and May 2nd.
Ky'Quilla literally translates to "Mid-Spring". It is the celebration of the Goddess Quilla (Goddess of Springtime) marrying her consort Lyan (God of the Eastern Wind and Realm) Thus, this holiday in celebration of a divine wedding. During these three days brend [love] is the theme and all of the symbols of love abound. the primary colors used to decorate is white, red and pink. red flowers like rose are found everywhere and foods of apples, pomegranates, strawberries, cherries, and raspberries are used in all festive foods. Apples are the most divine in the Bowynn Tradition, so it is not shocking to see apples, apple blossoms and foods all over the place.
In ritual procession the icon of Quilla is housed in a canopy of white. Garlands and wreathes of apple and cherry blossoms and rose decorate circles, groves, temples and homes. A greatly decorated red candle is decorated and burned throughout the 3-day holiday.
The last day of the holiday is a great celebration for all. Celebrating the union of the God and Goddess. Foods abound, especially candies, berry drinks, rose and berry wines, sweet cakes, pies and berry cakes.
During this holiday it's used as a time for guys to profess their love to those they love. Traditionally, a young man will take this day to propose to the woman she loves by bringing an apple tree sapling or a small rise shrub. If the female accepts, they will plant the tree or shrub together in front of the girl's home. After they are wed, the tree/plant is removed to their new home.
Amongst other symbols of the holiday are images of various Kii [fairy folk] because it is said in the wedding of Quilla to Lyan, Kii formed the procession for Quilla to their sacred grove where they were wed. So its not shocking to see statues of Kii everywhere. Children will craft small houses for the various types of Kii or make cutouts of Kii and hang them about the house and celebration place.

The Sister's Jarra
Kara Jarra (Khar-rha Jar-rha) Karra Jarra, or just Kara is the Bowynn goddess of health. In particular, she is the goddess that précised over the arts of physical healing, such as Massage, Reiki, Gateway healing and reflexology. She is the daughter of the god Owenn and one triplet daughters, often called 'The Sisters Jarra," meaning the sister healers. He is the patroness of nurses, physical therapists and those that practice such healing arts that are attributed to her.
Karra and her sisters have no real sacred stories of their past deeds, save for the 7 sacred days they spent with the first tribes of mankind, sharing with them, their knowledge. Karra in particular showed the tribes how to heal damages to the body by massages and reiki, how to turn use pressure points to relieve pain and how to treat the body while it is healing When not at her father's side, Karra is seen in temples, houses of healing, and sweat lodges helping as she can the injured. Karra is often seen with the goddess Nyalla Bua in sauna and sweat lodge shrines.
As with all three Sisters Jarra, Kara is a young goddess in appearance, with white-ish blond hair braided back with ribbons. Simple clothing and a fillet wrapped about her brow. She is often seen with a small slender board in her hands called a "Peer" which is used as a massage implement. Infact a traditional offering to Karra by those healing by such means will offer an elaborate Jeer that is wrapped with fillets and ribbons. Naturally incense is a most honored offering and votive birds also make the best gifts.

Traydea (Trae-dee-ah) She is the goddess of childbirth, children and childcare in the Bowynn faith. Traydea is the daughter of Anhur and Rhya and sister to many other gods and goddesses. Traydea has many other aspects aside from bird. She of the patroness of wet-nurses, doula, obstetricians, pediatricians and midwives. She is also the patroness of nannies and to those that tend to children on a regular basis as a career.
Traydea has not been spoken much about much in sacred stories, as her role is pretty well busy and set in both mortal and immortal ways of life. From the moment a mother is full and bearing, Traydea is a part of her life. Home shrines are erected to her as soon as a family learns a member is pregnant and remains up till the child turns 12 years old. Traydea is invoked during birth to help delivery and tend to the baby all through its young years. Images of the goddess along with Kii are places all about the mother’s and child’s room.
While not named in any major roles of the sacred stories, Traydea is mentioned to be at the birth of all immortal gods born after her own birth. And she is said to be their nursemaids as well. Infact she is the constant Nursemaid to the god Daekk, God of prosperity and wealth, as he was destined to remain a babe so not to be tempted by mortals to favor one over another. Only Tymora takes over Traydea’s role at times for Daekk. Despite her roles and attributes, she never bore a child herself.
Traydea is seen as a goddess of motherly goddess with hair pulled back and wearing a veil. Her clothes are simple and free flowing. She is rarely if ever seen or depicted wearing a hladd, as she should always be ready to nurse a child. In her hands she is often seen holding a child or a jug or bowl of milk. When about a mortal home, she will often disguise herself a cat, which is her totem animal. Votives of cats and bowls of milk are the most common offerings to Traydea, as well as flowers or even images of a baby or a dolly. These last two are often gifted during pregnancy.
Amaetheon (Ah-may-thee-on) Amaetheon is the Bowynn God of shepherds, cheese-making, bee-keeping, honey, olive trees, oil making, soap making, harvest, brewing, milking, the protector of groves, farms and orchards, the vine, grapes, berries, fruit and abundance in life. He is the patron to farmers, brewers and shepherds. Amatheon is the son of Rhya and Anhur. The god, in his role as the discoverer of honey and the art of brewing, makes these his prime attributes. But he is not to be confused with a god of drunkenness such as Bacchus. Infact, he is often seen and spoken of as a god that deplores drunkenness; In the end, making those that abuse his gifts, ill with hangovers and sickness, which they will not soon forget. Amaetheon is a much beloved god, and many sacred stories are bound to him. Many speak of how he had bestowed onto mortals his many gifts or how he punished those who have mistreated his gifts. One of the more hair-raising tales speak of a group of men that gathered to have a private party, during which wine and ale flowed far too quick and often. The men became so drunk that they started to wreak havoc on their neighbors and all across the city. Getting word of this, Amaetheon directed their blurred vision on their own homes. By morning when the men woke, their homes were totally destroyed by their own drunken state and hands. The men were quickly cast out of their town and forced to wander for months with stones chained to their ankles.
In the 7 sacred days that Amaetheon stayed with the first tribes, he taught man-king all about tending to cows, goats other animals to gather their milk, how to grow fields of fruit trees, bee-keeping and the making of drinks from various trees and plants.
Amaethon is seen as a well built young man, with beautiful brown hair and sometimes with an apple or ivy wreath on his brow. His clothes are simple and are tainted in harvest colors. Purple and green however often prominent of colors. He always has a tankard tied to his belt or with a cluster of milk jars over his shoulder. He is said to be a very beautiful god and a charmer with his words and music. Often seen with him are a cow or goat. His image is placed in pantries and cupboards to make sure that they are always overflowing and in orchards for health harvests and its common to have a small shringe to Amaetheon in the Kitchen.
Clear equivalents to Amaetheon are Bacchus and Dionysus.

The info I post on my page is of the BOWYNN FAITH. It is not the beliefs of Wicca or other Pagan faiths. I got a couple of notes this morning slamming me saying the info I am posting is wrong. Point of fact - No it is not. It is of the beliefs of the Bowynn faith. It is NOT the beliefs of Wiccans, Hellenes, Nordic or Keltic. It is not the teachings of Buddha, Hindu or the Lakota.
So, if you are Wiccan and watching my page for more info for your Wiccan or Pagan faith, you are going to get very confused and find that the information is going to contradict Germanic and Keltic teachings. The meaning and pathways of elements will not be the same.
Also, I just need to stress, that the Bowynn faith is not a Cafeteria faith: You cannot pick and choose what fits your current belief and wedge it into your Saxon-Roman-Hermetic Pagan faith. Either embrace it in its totality or move on path.
I am not posting this in a bloggers rage. I am just stating this following a couple of private message I got because some people thought the Elemental information was wrong. It is not wrong, it just not Wiccan, HIndi or Huna beliefs.

Second, I was asked if my images posted here are AI generated. No they are not AI. Some are photos I created almost a decade ago out in the woods around Seattle. Others are photo manipulated, using images of items I created myself. In the case of the Elements posts, the Numatam, cups and wood chalice are mine which I wood-burned myself. As previously noted, I am totally against AI Art and pretty much AI anything and everything. They are all signed with my name and dated (At least most are) and have hidden signatures as well.
