Character: Zafeera Filtz aka Lady Insanity

Age: unknown looks 30-35

Location: Gotham and Metropolis

Universe: D.C

Powers: telekinesis, kinetic energy, flight, Gift of Aphrodite ( Love & Lust seduction pheromones causes Mind Capture)

Descriptions: Zafeera Filtz is a tall copper skinned creole woman with breast 38 DD and a luscious curvy body that struts and screams sassiness and slick talking attitude. Her hair flows down her back wavy and chestnut brown with natural blonde highlights. As for Lady Insanity she reveals sprouted demonic wings small horns forming a crown across her head, with glowing pinkish red eyes. Her skin in tribal tatted and scarred. She adores wearing leather and lace that’s skin tight and draping around her body. Although a plus size woman she is agile and skilled in combat.

Storyline: Lady Meets Syrine

2:43am Wednesday,

Another late night in Gotham and Lady Insanity was out following a group of thugs who just knocked off a bank. They’d been speeding through the streets thinking they made a clean get away ; not. Knowing the lady was flying high above them. They turned into a dark alley and slowed down until they came to a chained gate. The group hopped out of the truck laughing and joking preparing to unload the loot from the heist. Lady Insanity landed on a fire escape and sat quietly watching the scene. Suddenly there was these voices singing to an unfamiliar tune in the breeze of the night. The thugs stopped what they were doing looking Around frozen in fear…

“ That guard is no longer alive. Seems you men do not care for life,” a shadowed figure spoke from the alley entrance. Looking and spotting the figure, the thugs drew their weapons in panic and anger. Shots rang out loud but the figure was no longer there only the sound of voices singing that caused the thugs to panic even more!

“ Where’d that bitch go!?!” Shouted one of the thugs. Suddenly a large dagger was thrusted in him dripping blood ; his friends screamed and opened fire only to tittle him with bullets.

“ Watch out! Behind you!” Lady Insanity shouted jumping into the fray of gun fire. She sent a kinetic blast of energy into the flanking thug sending him flying off his feet into a dumpster. Lady Insanity and the mysterious other woman eyed each other and continued to take out the thugs. After the lady thug dropped to the ground, they stopped and took deep breathe realizing the area was covered in blood and bullet shells.sirens could be heard in the distance as usual someone called the police and it was time to go.

“ Who are you?” A confused Lady Insanity asked.

“ Me… I’m Syrine Gorgeous, and you are?” Said Syrine

“ Ummm… Lady Insanity, I was already on scene following these idiots until you showed up.” Lady insanity added.

“ Well I’m glad you were here I could have been hurt , so thank you Lady, I guess we should get out of here.” Spoke Syrine.

The Innocence of an Author & horror of slandering fans!

J.K Rowling would have been innocent if it wasn’t for her retaliation to the multitudes of unnecessary clap back from her fans and sensitive trigger finger happy L.G.B.T.Q community.

Rowling is well known for her Wizarding World Franchise, but has come under fire do to her controversial twitter posts. Now J.K. Rowling writes,” When you throw open the doors of bathrooms and changing rooms to any man who believes or feels he’s a woman then you open the door to any and all men who want to come inside. That is the simple truth!” ( N. Maines Why I’m still a Harry Potter Fan Despite J.K Rowlings Anti Trans Views, 2022). In the following paragraphs she then went to cover topics regarding the states that allow gender neutral versus states that have to become as open. Maines, then covers how Rowling is in her opinion speaking one sided, not allowing the truth to be simple when it comes to looking at sexual orientation or genders as absolute. Basically giving more of a reason to condemn the once famously known activist and author a terrible mistreatment.

Rowlings wrote a manifesto detailing the downside of being a transgender in America. “She quickly doubled down on those feelings, publishing a lengthy essay in response to the backlash, leaving Potterheads to decide whether denouncing Rowling and her anti-trans positions meant they must also denounce the whole Potter franchise.” (K. Walsh The Time Has Come For Us To Let Go Of Harry Potter, 2020). The manifesto itself being the very research she needed to defend her self when in reality from lessons I’ve learned with retaliation could have been avoided. I believe with this released information it changed the mind of her fans from “innocent” to the unfortunate “guilty.” Now to state my own opinion if you do the research you can definitely find information that defends Rowlings point of view; unlike “show me the receipts,” stated N. Maines.

Many celebrities came to the trans community aid, and voiced they’re opinions in support and against Rowlings view. "If you found anything in these stories that resonated with you and helped you at any time in your life—then that is between you and the book that you read, and it is sacred," Radcliffe wrote in his moving statement. (N. Maines, Why I’m Still a Harry Potter Fan Despite Rowlings Anti Trans Views, 2020)s. This is just another way of telling us to not give up on someone or something that touched our hearts and gave us strength. Personally I see the author Rowling and believe whole heartedly that she never meant harm and only meant well in her advocacy.

Finally, as I end this paper I wanna share that I am a trans woman who grew up in Los Angeles and dealt with misunderstandings primarily bullying. This woman of activism for our community was bludgeoned and slandered for things that may have simply been misunderstood. I truly feel that my community in a sensitive way jumped the gun, and may have just crucified the career of one of our beloved authors J.K. Rowling. “Yes in plain truth it was not wise of her to retaliate but before you point the finger and scream obscenities think back to when you were bullied and see from another’s point of view, PLEASE!” – Ameerah D’Aguilar(2022)
