tlt is insane it's like what if there were a love story between a girl who is a lock and a girl who is a key. okay now what if it was a love triangle with the thing in the fucking box
So help me, I love JRPG bosses with stupid meta strategies that exploit some quirk of the mechanics to ruin your day. Like, yeah, cast a spell that changes my primary damage-dealer's damage type to an element the boss is healed by, and I can't even remove it because it's technically a buff and all of the condition-removing effects specifically don't remove buffs. Give me a boss whose passive aura grants spell reflection to the opposing party, which in practice prevents me from healing myself but doesn't hinder the boss at all because literally all of their attacks are physical type. Go on, make it weird.
5 min tutorial for trcelyne, hope it helps!
I never understood why "Sucks dick" means "Thing nobody likes" should be the polar opposite "This meal is so good, it sucks dick!" You know? OH SHIT
as a player you should really internalize the intent/task sentence structure. “i wanna open this door by prying it open with a crowbar,” “i wanna set fire to the hay bale with my firebolt,” “i wanna haggle this price by commenting on some minor scratches.”
very often i see players only stating one of these. either “i wanna open the door” or “i cast firebolt on the hay bale.”
what the intent/task structure does is properly communicate to your GM what a success/failure state looks like, and what kind of challenge they propose. sometimes players have a very specific outcome in mind, but when they just state the task, even a successful attempt will be disappointing because the GM does not know what you want to achieve. and vice versa, just stating your intent puts weight on the GM to not only come up with the consequences to the actions, but what even causes them to begin with.
so many brands are migrating back to tumblr and everyone has been doing their civic duty to block them, but some people feel like it’s not happening fast enough en masse.
WELL HAVE NO FEAR,
there is a very helpful blog known as:
https://brand-directory.tumblr.com/
-that has carefully ordered and linked every single brand that migrated or was already on tumblr so you can open link in a new tab and block them en masse
REMINDER TO ABSOLUTELY NEVER INTERACT WITH BRAND BLOGS, EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE MOST OBLITERATING THING THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE SAID TO THEM, remember these blogs are run by workers and their content will likely never be seen by anyone who could make any meaningful change in the company (sorry interns) and notes will translate to more eyes on the brand.
a corporation cannot feel insulted, an employee can, and in corporate eyes any press is good press, DO NOT GIVE THEM NOTES, yes even the brands you like, if i can block sonic the hedgehog you can do it too
after you’re done blocking everything i highly recommend following to stay updated on what brands are on tumblr.
and while i usually don’t beg for notes cause i like not getting my inbox flooded but i would greatly appreciate if you reblog or better yet, share this post, don’t like it, that wont help anything and the note flood will drive my anxiety.
do not let this website turn into another guerrilla marketing playground for corporations, and here’s hoping for the best.
Fantastic art
