Psychonauts Game concept

So on my camping trip I was thinking of more Psychonaut game stories etc. As one Psychonaut fan would, and I actually thought of a really fun one

What if there was a spin off game like RoR (maybe not being VR) and it was a classic "murder on a train" type of mystery?

Think about it, being overly dramatic, as well as being very aware of how dramatic it is, which makes the comedic possibilities endless. As well as being suuuper cheesy. Like a detective movie kind of cliche, maybe Raz having a dramatic internal dialog, and being interrupted by someone reading his mind every once in a while.

And it obviously wouldn't be an actual murder, but they'd find a brainless victim probably shoved into a compartment somewhere. And the possible culprit would be someone on the train with them, and hijinks ensue. Basically, Clue but, with Psychonauts and on a train.

I drew some costume designs and ideas, as well as what the game would look like. I think it'd be cool if the first few minutes of the game were in the regular colors, but once the body is found, a black and white filter is thrown onto the screen, only small bits of red for color.

Characters would obviously be the classic team, Sasha, Milla, Coach, Lili and Raz, with Ford possibly teleporting around. But I was thinking it'd be cool for a few of the Interns and Hollis joining along, even Dogen making a return!

Tbh I'm in love with this concept and I want to actually make content for it. Idk what it would be called yet, and some story stuff is pretty fuzzy, but it's fun to mess with anyways. Who knows, I think making an entire comic for it could actually be very fun!

listening to Gravity Falls episode commentaries is great. Alex Hirsch nearly worked himself to death constantly. Grunkle Stan was nearly voiced by Matt Chapman of Homestar Runner. Literally nothing aside from the twist about Stan having a twin was planned more than a few episodes in advance. The zodiac wheel meant nothing and consisted of random symbols from the first 7 episodes because the intro was animated after those were done. Alex came up with the term “search for the blind eye” to be an extra bit for the between-season shorts before deciding to actually have a payoff for that setup and writing Society of the Blind Eye. Bill was meant to be a joke character and when Alex suggested that he be a real villain Michael Rianda responded “You, my friend, have lost the plot.” Bill getting one episode in the spotlight was basically chance and he only became the main villain of season 2 because he was so popular with the fans. The reveal of the portal at the end of season 1 was suggested by Mike without thinking it through and he left before the next season and the other writers were SO ANNOYED after that went through because they somehow had to keep that plot going for the 10 episodes it’d take to actually pay off. I am genuinely astonished that this show came together as well as it did at all.

hi just thought I'd share some of my silly truman headcanons:

in the grocery store for the longest time he would just float lili up to high shelves to get stuff. "No- No not that one. Get the whole wheat stuff. No. Yes! Yes. Good job."

Truman is so caca at math. Hes so bad. He can talk about trees for hours on end but the moment someone asks him to multiply beyond 11 hes lost

When Lili was a baby Truman would tell her ALL about his day. What he ate, what he did, what someone else did, what the trees said, all of it. Hed be so excited to go home and see his lil girl and tell her all about his day. And then the babysitter quit and he had to take her with him anyway

Personally what I think would be much more in character and frankly way funnier is if just about every superhero can see/detect Batman, they all just choose to humor him cause of his fragile ego lmao
