Just Because Mike And El Are Having Some Relationship Trouble Doesn’t Mean They’ll Break Up.

Y'all really don't have to continually lecture people about how ~ toxic and unhealthy ~ the Silco-Jinx dynamic was. We know lmfao. You're not a genius for figuring it out. I assure you not a single person on earth genuinely thinks they were the healthiest duo ever and wants to emulate their dynamic. People joking about how Silco was a 10/10 Best Crime Boss Dad is not gonna cause the fall of civilization, I promise you. That people were touched by the depth and sincerity of his love for her was the intention of the show. Fandom memes that whitewash fictional characters' crimes for comedy's sake are normal and will always be par for the course, they're really not the massive problem y'all make them out to be. Relaxxxxx

for yall saying that mileven are too young and that they could break up just because of that. yeah i get your point. but the thing is, we probably won’t even able to see it because stranger things is ending in season 5. them breaking up last minute would not make sense for the plot and for the build up they did for 4 seasons. it’d be definitely such a waste of time to write their budding storyline just for them to say “you know what? you’re not the endgame couple”

if the writers decided to make 10 seasons or maybe even at least 8 of stranger things AND decided to break mileven up, that’d be more acceptable (for me) because we’re probably gonna see them grow out of their relationship and just be over it. but no. they’re ending it in season 5 and so far, there’s nothing in the plot that implies “yup we’re gonna break them up”

you’re just saying this because you want your ship to sail, you won’t care about the age thing if mike is dating will. besides, if that’s really the logic you’re going for, what even makes yall sure that will’s feelings for mike will also not fade overtime? i mean if mileven could grow out of their relationship like yall been saying, then im sure as hell will could find someone that can reciprocate his feelings right?

So let me get this straight. Byler fans want El to come back from being traumatized and confronted with her past as a lab rat to this evil government man… only to be broken up with by her boyfriend so that he can go date her brother? That’s what ya’ll want? How bout you all just admit that you hate El and let’s go on with our day! 

Silco is one of my Favourite character in arcane but ya no he is definitely a villain and I don't defend his actions what I will say though ( because people are always going on about these things )

Silco loved Jinx. It is confirmed and its also like.. obvious.

him defending her from sevika and ( according to sevika ) his entire crew who don't like her and can clearly see she'll be his downfall.

his reaction when he sees she is Hurt. *sobs*

the way he literally gets EVERYTHING HE HAS EVERY WANTED ON A SILVER FUCKING PLATTER and gives it all up because he didn't want to live without her *sobs harder*

Jinx KILLS him and his finally words are calling her perfect. ( he literally is dying. He knows that. There would be no point in lying to her. )

But he was not a good father. Even though I honestly think he believes the things he tells her and isn't actively trying to manipulate her. These are the two quotes that stand out.

eg) everyone betrays us

in fairness everyone he loved HAD betrayed him and from what jinx TELLS him, Vi betrayed her. ( ik Vi didn't actually betray her and it isn't her fault whatsoever. She was a child like ?!?. But it's what jinx believes and its what she TELLS him )

Eg) jinx is perfect

Jinx ( my other favourite character ) is by no means perfect. She's clearly insane and she's a full blown murderer. She is not perfect but she is to SILCO. ( again he is not right for thinking this way but he is clearly not mentally well either ) Silco isn't lying when he says this. He honestly thinks she's perfect.

( We also only see Silco lie to Jinx once. When he tells her Vi is only after the crystal. And that is done because he doesn't want to loose her because he loves her. A shitty thing to do. But nonetheless. )

Silcos goals are understandable. The way he goes about achieving them is not. Wanting the undercity to be free from Piltover is 100% justifiable. Piltover is extremely corrupt and like.. the worst. Its literally like the hunger games. Its just that going out on a murder spree isn't the way to achieve that yk.

( Also I can understand why silco murders vander but still... debatable. )

So ya in conclusion,

Silco is a VILLAIN.

Most of the shit he does is morally evil

However there are some things that people think about him that are just simply not true. I have alot more points but I'm tired.
