SEASON 2 EPISODE 2 SPOILERS DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOST RECENT EUPHORIA EPISODE!

MS. GIRL IS SO MESSY THIS SEASON HOLYASLNSADD

I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt during the first episode because:

1. She was in a super vulnerable position since she just got her abortion AND

2. She was so drunk she couldn't walk.

hOWEVER COMMA. the second episode made me completely change my mind.

She was clearly composed enough to reject Nate multiple times but STILL chose to hook up with him.

Not only that, she decided to hook up with him MULTIPLE TIMES AFTER THE PARTY.

This isn't just a one-off mistake anymore, it's literally repeated behavior.

Therefore Cassie deserves everything she has coming at her and I do not feel any sympathy.

Well shit.

The really tragic thing about the ending of Arcane season 1 is that even if Jinx hadn’t fired the missile, there still wouldn’t have been independence for Zaun even with the Council’s vote, because

If Jinx killed Silco then there wouldn’t be independence because the deal with the Council was made with Silco, and

If Jinx didn’t kill Silco then he would never have handed her over to Piltover, so the agreement with the Council wouldn’t stand.

Silco is one of my Favourite character in arcane but ya no he is definitely a villain and I don't defend his actions what I will say though ( because people are always going on about these things )

Silco loved Jinx. It is confirmed and its also like.. obvious.

him defending her from sevika and ( according to sevika ) his entire crew who don't like her and can clearly see she'll be his downfall.

his reaction when he sees she is Hurt. *sobs*

the way he literally gets EVERYTHING HE HAS EVERY WANTED ON A SILVER FUCKING PLATTER and gives it all up because he didn't want to live without her *sobs harder*

Jinx KILLS him and his finally words are calling her perfect. ( he literally is dying. He knows that. There would be no point in lying to her. )

But he was not a good father. Even though I honestly think he believes the things he tells her and isn't actively trying to manipulate her. These are the two quotes that stand out.

eg) everyone betrays us

in fairness everyone he loved HAD betrayed him and from what jinx TELLS him, Vi betrayed her. ( ik Vi didn't actually betray her and it isn't her fault whatsoever. She was a child like ?!?. But it's what jinx believes and its what she TELLS him )

Eg) jinx is perfect

Jinx ( my other favourite character ) is by no means perfect. She's clearly insane and she's a full blown murderer. She is not perfect but she is to SILCO. ( again he is not right for thinking this way but he is clearly not mentally well either ) Silco isn't lying when he says this. He honestly thinks she's perfect.

( We also only see Silco lie to Jinx once. When he tells her Vi is only after the crystal. And that is done because he doesn't want to loose her because he loves her. A shitty thing to do. But nonetheless. )

Silcos goals are understandable. The way he goes about achieving them is not. Wanting the undercity to be free from Piltover is 100% justifiable. Piltover is extremely corrupt and like.. the worst. Its literally like the hunger games. Its just that going out on a murder spree isn't the way to achieve that yk.

( Also I can understand why silco murders vander but still... debatable. )

So ya in conclusion,

Silco is a VILLAIN.

Most of the shit he does is morally evil

However there are some things that people think about him that are just simply not true. I have alot more points but I'm tired.

my general experience with the arcane fandom so far

i don’t like this demonizing of silco and treating him like he has no redeeming personality traits or qualities. like when are people gonna realize that morally grey individuals exist, and 99% in the real world no one is completely bad or good. like yes he fucked up and yes he did not parent jinx in the way she needed, but to blame jinx’s entire mental collapse on silco is just dumb.

homophobia and lgbtq+ ships (HP & ST FANDOM)

Stop saying that people who are hating on lgbtq+ ships are homophobic. They may be, who knows, but maybe they just don’t like the pairing in general.

eg. I love Byler bc I can see the chemistry but I don’t like Elmax bc I can’t see the click.

I’ve been investigating many fanbases and have realized that soooo many people are using the term ‘homophobic’ very wrong. 

Homophobic; having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against lgbtq+ members.

Saying that someone is homophobic bc they don’t like some gay ship is ENTIRELY WRONG. It’s the same when we hate on hetero ships such as Mileven.

I’m an avid byler stan, but, sometimes my fellow army just needs to chill and stop using the ‘you’re homophobic bc u don’t like byler’ as a comeback. Like, just no.

Another example is when I’ve seen people in the Harry Potter fanbase start making all the ships gay, which I’m totally fine with bc it’s just a story, but then saying to ppl who ship the canon ships, ‘you’re literally so homophobic’.

Wellllll. maybe they aren’t? maybe they just like the canon ships? maybe they make their beliefs based off of the book??

like if you truly wanted to defend the accuracy of Norse mythology you should be more concerned that a Greek demigod is coming by and killing the Norse gods...and his son, who is literally the Norse trickster god, is half giant, quarter Greek demigod and quarter human

I just found out that there’s a chunk of GoW fans that don’t like the fact that Angrboda has dark skin in Ragnarok, and I just want to say that nobody had a problem with how the Greek gods were interpreted for the entire previous few games, Loki is Atreus, or that a Greek demigod is Loki’s father instead of a frost giant named Fàrbauti, yet the moment a POC character exists yall want to throw hands because it’s “not accurate”.

Ffs, it’s a fictional character in a game, if you’re going to get pressed then you better start having that same energy towards Kratos, Atreus, Zeus, Athena, Fey, Baldur, etc because NOBODY is accurately represented in that franchise compared to the actual Mythology they originate from. As the creator said, it’s a fictional universe that puts its own spin on these characters.

Tldr: if you hate that Angrboda in GoW: Ragnarok is black then Grow Up.

It just hit me the reason I get so annoyed by the anti-Atreus whingeing I've seen is that like. Chunks of it really do place a lot of the weight and responsibility of Kratos's trauma and pain onto Atreus (he should know better than to pry about these things because of how painful they are, it's not fair for him to get mad because of xyz thing with Kratos) and like. Besties, here's the thing.

Atreus knows none of this (because his father won't tell him anything).

Kratos's secret keeping and trauma have directly impacted Atreus's life in negative ways, including being part of the cause of his childhood chronic illness (which is itself also a cornerstone of Atreus's other issues). Therefore, Atreus does kind of have a right to ask questions?? He's not prying into trauma out of cruelty, he's asking questions about things that DIRECTLY impact him. (His tone was wrong during his bastard period but the questions and frustrations themselves were not, don't @ me.)

He is a child. It is not the responsibility of a child to mollycoddle their parents, mental illness or not. Yes, what Kratos has been through is real and painful but he's the adult parent here. It's HIS responsibility to make sure that his shit doesn't hurt his son. It's not his son's responsibility to handle that shit for him.

People erase a lot how good of a father he is just because of his cold nature, but Kratos is a good and fair fucking dad.

He teaches and advises, his commands are always put in the simplest way and are specific. He praises and validates when it’s deserved, telling what could be even better when needed. He points out and praises efforts and improvements. He compliments qualities. He is proud when his child does better than him, not hurt. He warns of the dangers of bad behaviors, always explaining why it’s dangerous, and by proposing a better approach. He helps when something is beyond his child’s capacities. He protects. He listens and pays attention. He corrects mistakes without mockery or anger (when they’re made out of ignorance). Literally the only thing he’s not good at is when it comes to emotions. He’s not good at expressing his, nor to deal with his son’s ones. Still, he tries his best.

I don’t want to see anybody making fatphobic comments about Thor or comparing him to Marvel!Thor. Marvel did not create my gods. Marvel also made Thor fat as a joke. I am hoping God of War isn’t gonna go there and will treat him with the respect he deserves.

When i see people comparing mileven to lumax and saying stuff like “lumax is better than mileven cause they actually know how to communicate” i clutch my purse and create a barrier and a distance cause… like of course they dont communicate the same way, El has a limited vocabulary??? the hell?? biggest red flag is when people in the fandom try to look for reason why mileven shouldnt be together so their ship can be like the right ship and the ship deserving of being endgame in her trauma and struggles and disabilities literally go to hell.. this might come as a shock but mileven doesnt have to be toxic for your ship to be good
