“jegulus would never work in canon because james wouldn’t do something like that to sirius”
and why exactly james’ character is about sirius?
I need help finding a fic again because I think I’m going crazy
So basically Astoria and Draco are dating and Astoria wants to invite Harry for a threesome, and at first Draco is like ‘that’s kinda weird and I’m not gay’, but then he fucks Harry and all of a sudden he can’t stop. So from then on their sex stopped being about Astoria and started being about draco and Harry and Astoria starts to grow resentful of it. Harry and Draco end up together at the end.
I know Astoria and Harry were both in college and Draco was a little bit older than them but that’s pretty much all the detail I can muster.
I have tried so many different filters and none of them seem to be working so please if anybody knows hit my line!!!!!!
Idk if people do this anymore but I need help finding a fic that I read like a month ago. It’s a jegulus fic where Regulus doesn’t have a car so Sirius has James drive him to work. James says he’s straight but him and Reg have this flirty lil relationship. One night James comes to Reg drunk and they canoodle but James is gone in the morning I think?? I’m a lil fuzzy on that detail. After that Reg starts dating Kingsley because he’s not gonna fuck with a straight boy again. Then Kingsley moves away and they break up and then Reg and James get together. Also Sirius and Remus fell in love doing porn together and that’s their little side story
The fic was like three chapters but the word count was probably around 10,000-40,000, I can’t imagine it being longer than that.
I loved it and it was fun but now I can’t find it so SOMEBODY ANYBODY HELP ME PLEASE
Two nights ago, I had to temporarily leave my home, because my father was throwing plates and mugs, and tried to slap my face
Which, the slap is really fucked up when you think, I have an extremely weak jaw (I had my entire jaw removed in a 10 hour surgery. And my current jaw was hand made by my surgeons using my left fibula) and my father KNOWS this.
I'm currently staying at my partners mom's house for a few days, while things settle down!!
I'm getting my next disability cheque in 3 days, but untill then I have nothing, money wise. I have a Dr's appointment tomorrow, in Mississauga and it'll be about $50 for the uber there and back, and iv estimated that for FOOD for the next 3 days that'll cost me $50 as well!!
I'm so sorry everyone. I'm trying so hard to get back up on my feet, and I feel like I keep getting shot down.
I think Walburga liked Sirius more than Regulus. Sirius fought back. He was a leader, a protector. He was strong minded and passionate but also incredibly loyal to his friends. Walburga thought that if she could get Sirius to agree with her ideals, all of his characteristics would fall perfectly in place of Voldemort’s right hand man. He wouldn’t be just another DE, he would be in the inner circle. Walburga didn’t expect much from Regulus, so she didn’t care about him as much. Regulus was submissive and didn’t think for himself. She knew he would become a DE, so she didn’t pay attention to him. When Sirius left, Walburga was left with her spare. She was disappointed with not having a strong enough heir to be of more importance to Voldemort. Regulus was the disappointment in her eyes.
She was wrong about Regulus though. Regulus wasn’t submissive, he was strategic. He had his own opinions and ideals, he just never said them because he knew it wouldn’t get him anywhere. He knew how Sirius was treated and figured that speaking up for himself just wasn’t worth it. He became a DE because he wanted to. He felt awful about his brother hating him for it, but he agreed with the world he was told Voldemort wanted to create (I think he was manipulated into thinking Voldemort just wanted a peaceful world where everyone could be free).
When Regulus realized he’d been tricked, he didn’t want to be just another soldier on the light side like his brother, he wanted to take down Voldemort himself. (Little dramatic but love the enthusiasm) He sacrificed his life knowing that he would never get to say goodbye, never get to redeem himself in his brother’s eyes. It wasn’t expected nor welcome of him to do such a thing but he didn’t care. He did what he wanted, whether people knew it or not.
“Those poor boys”
“She deserves to be punished too.”
“I’m not saying I support rape, but-”
“Sorry to say - she deserved it.”
“She put herself in harm’s way”
“But if she was fingered, then that’s not rape.”
“She ruined their lives.”
Okay look I know what I posted two seconds ago was contributing to this but it still confuses me:
Why is it that Snape lovers trash Regulus and vice versa?
Like, Snape lovers use Regulus to justify Snape’s actions because he switched sides when Regulus never did.
But then Snape haters say that Regulus sacrificed his life to take down Voldemort and Snape was just saving his own ass.
Of course there are many more arguments, but I just feel like you can’t really use their characters against each other.
Personally, I do love people having debates about each characters morality, but some people take it way too far for it to be about made up characters in a kids book.
It’s just like, why Regulus Black, y’know?
I wrote my first fanfic if you wanted to read. There’s not really a plot. Just a lot of jegulus flirting. Hope you like it😎
Little king
Lionheart
Little star (NOT to be confused with bright star who is Sirius)
Love (Reg calls him lover)
Gumdrop (because it annoys the FUCK out of him)
Lucy (let me explain. Everyone calls him Reg so he decided to call him the end of his name instead of the beginning but ‘lus’ was weird so he said Lucy)
Broom boy (affectionate)
James calls him lots of things but these are the most used.
James even called him shawty once and Reg only spoke to him in French until he promised not to do it again.
It’s not necessarily fan behavior because it could have been that when he was younger but then slowly turned into research over the years, keeping track of him but no longer idolizing him.
We don’t know what his mind set was at the end of his life and even if it was definite in canon, does it really matter?
I mean, it’s the same thing with jegulus, just because it isn’t canon doesn’t mean it couldn’t have happened.
But I’m tired of having this argument about what’s realistic according to canon because I just don’t care. It’s literally a kids book, let it be subjective and let it rest.
Let’s move on to more fun discussions because this one is just exhausting.
No hate to either of you im just tired of seeing the same thing over and over again.
girly u do realize regulus betrayed voldemort, right? how is he a voldemort fan boy... and about jegulus, honestly they would make a good couple. you're just boring.
Yes, he betrayed Voldemort because of Kreacher, not James. And his betrayal doesn't mean he never had Voldemort clippings on his bedroom walls, you know, literal fanboy behaviour. Jegulus is a stupid ship that strays far too much from canon for my tastes, but people can enjoy it if they want and if their version of Regulus is the exact opposite of his canon version.
James once told Regulus to face his fears. Of course, he said it a bit more lavishly, he was still posh after all.
He said, “Look into the eyes of your demons with nothing but courage, and determination; and if the case calls for it, look on with fury.”
Well, Regulus must be doing something right.
Because here he lays at the water’s edge, looking into the faces of watery demons, each representing something different - The Dark Lord, Father, Mother, Sirius, James, the life that was stolen from him - with nothing but courage, determination, and a whole lot of fury.
