Honoring the Divine Masculine

This is Father’s Day, a time to celebrate mail parents. It’s also a great opportunity for honoring the divine masculine. Pagan faiths have many different gods that you can explore.

You’ll need:

A brown candle in the candle holder that you can carry safely

Light it and invoke your favorite divine father figure. 

Meditate on all that a father brings to a home, and what a father god brings to his pantheon.

Then walk through all the rooms of your house. Light them up with the glow of his regard.

As you go, say:

Father God, guard my home

And keep us safe and well

Make this place full of love

And good stories to tell

Return to candle to your altar. 

Finish with favorite remembrances of your father or another male role model. Give thanks and let the candle burn out safely.

Natural colored eggs for Ostara

I really wanted to tell everyone about this cool way to color eggs for Ostara, Easter or any holiday you celebrate. This is all natural and looks so cool.

For this “recipe” you’ll need:

• white eggs

•a lot of onion peels

•cloth or yarn

•if you want you can add rice, flowers, moss etc.

•vinegar, salt and water

Cut the cloth, so you’ll have a piece of it for every egg. The cloth should cover the egg. Then lay down the cloth and put onion peels evenly on it. If you want you can put moss, rice or flowers on the onion peels, they will leave a cool pattern. When you are done with that, put eggs on the cloth pieces and wrap the cloth tightly over the egg but be careful that you won’t break the egg and that onion peels won’t fall out. Wrap some yarn over the cloth carefully and if the cloth isn’t folding open you can tie the yarn.

Put the wrapped eggs inside the pot and pour cold water over them. Add some salt to the water so the eggs won’t break and some vinegar. You can also add some herbs for magickal purposes, for example I always add clove to the boiling water. Boil the eggs for about fifteen minutes then strain them. After you’ve strained them pour cold water over the eggs so the shell will come off easily afterwards. Remove the cloth and everything you wrapped around the eggs and you’re ready. Here are some finished eggs.

“can you fix yourself” spell

This is for all those annoying jerks who you want to curse but decide to help become better people instead :’)

You all know who I’m talking about, I’m sure

For the ingredients, you’ll need:

amethyst (optional, it’s just meant to be near you, it won’t matter much if you don’t have it)

a sheet of paper (optional)

a flower, preferably one that fell off a bush already

a white or pink candle

Now, for the spell🌻

first, get your candle and light it. while it’s burning, write what good you’d like for this person, if you’d like. you could always just remember but me being the forgetful, distracted person I am, I’d write it. write as many things there are flower petals.

Then, over your candle, drop a flower petal into the flame while saying (aloud or in your head) what //good// traits you’d like this person to work on

For example if a person is overly loud and harsh to the point where it hurst people, you’d say “___ has realized they need to focus on becoming more gentle” and drop a petal into the fire
