why it baby tiny :( it not dwarf deer, it too tall, how it big and not big same time :(
holy moly
if you ever see a post from somebody that hates a group of people and post examples of the group actually being bad THEN DO NOT TAKE IT TO HEART. think of how many people of that group exist, and then think of how many examples of evil people there are, and then think of the likely overlap there are.
wether the poster knew it or not, they were performing/participating to multiple fallacies; cherry picking (only picking clean cherries when harvesting and think every cherry is clean), selection bias (doing a research on how many blonde people there are and only having one participant), anchor bias [specifically about what information thay have heard from other people who hate that group](hearing "i sucked a weiner, for twenty bucks" and only hearing the first part, making it sound just gay), and is participation in conformation bias.
also if you notice one of these fallacies then just ignore the message, only respond if its in real life, <and if so please point it out to the person.
damn this has more rebogs than likes
denmark isnt here, you know what that means, its even more invadable now.
just realized the shreks are forming a heart in the middle
Now more than ever we need to make Tumblr unmarketable, do NOT invite the government into this space.
how tumblr constantly posts about stuff trump does thats extremely bad, but i seem to never be able to find anything about those situations on any other place, especially not on t*it***.
my theory is that a lot of "autistic behaviors" are just behaviors that anyone would do if they were no longer masking, like theres a lot of "queer behaviors" that are just due to people not caring about social stigma or judgement and just being comfterble as themselves instead, like wearing dresses, vibrant colours, being "weird", being flamboyand, etc.
like i never wear jeans or tight socks, not because the texture is bad and triggering my sensitivety, but just because its way more comfterble wearing baggy pants and wooly socks [and thats true for everyone]. And hey, society already thinks im lazy and stupid, so why not wear something more comfterble that society also thinks is lazy?
also liking specific animals, everyone deep down has a specific animal they like and think are cute, but just never play into it, because society deems that as "childish", "unaware", "stupid", hell "intimate", etc.
But us autistic people no longer care about stigma or judgement, we just do what we think is good for ourselfs, like wearing baggy pants, having fun with your friends, having a favorite animal, quitting a job for a better one, having long hair as a boy (and gender swapped), even one of the most cited autistic behaviours (having a media you really like) is just due to not caring about stigma, its not due to weird behaviors or autistic people being "stupid" and "lazy" and "childish", its just due to having fun, and not caring what people think.
also think about the medicinal technology we had 70 years ago, in 1950 the life expectency was 69.15~ (66,5 male and 71,8 female, US) and now its 77,43!, you might just live to 85+!
hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset
the average human lifespan globally is 70+ years
taking the threshold of adulthood as 18, you are likely to spend at least 52 years as a fully grown adult
at the age of 30 you have lived less than one quarter of your adult life (12/52 years)
'middle age' is typically considered to be between 45-65
it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age
it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.
you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.
young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!
there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big

its technically not alienating someones rights if you make the rights different instead of removing them, you see thats completely what inalienable means
Listen, if a Bad President can come in and take away our rights and we're dependent on a Good President replacing them in four years to give us back our rights, then we do not have any rights.
If politicians can take or distribute them, then they're not "inalienable" and they're not "rights."
We don't have inalienable rights we have conditional privileges, divvied out according to the whims of whoever currently holds the reins.
And if we want to have actual rights, then we must build a system in which no one has the power to take them away to begin with.
people who wear jeans scare me, like image how much pain they go through just to stay in the "norm", what other things can they do with this indominable spirit.
idk i love seals and spheals. i want to become a zoologist, but i cant pronounce z, you zee my problem?
