You’ll need:
Your favorite pair of walking or running shoes
A black permanent marker
This season, before it gets too hot, is a great time of the year to go outdoors and getting some exercise, and that could mean you’ll spend a lot of time on your feet. If you’re a hiker, backpacker, jogger, or if you just try to get in a few laps around the neighborhood, do the spell on your shoes to protect you as you travel.
Flip over the shoes, and on the bottom of the left one, write the word SAFE. On the right, write SOUND. Put the shoes on, and sit on the floor, knees bent and to the side, so the souls are touching each other. Say “I may walk around the world, but I’ll always come home safe and sound. I walk for miles both far and near, hale and hearty when I returned here.”
Wear your shoes when you go walking or running, and be sure to check the souls periodically to see if you need to refresh the words.

hey love, today we are talking about self concept and its various connections to manifesting! I hope this post will bring across how essential the meaning of your concept of self is. ♡
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐓?
your self concept describes the way you perceive yourself and the world you live in. it’s the assemblage of all beliefs you have regarding yourself (outer appearance, your personality, your social life, and so on) and your environment (the people, their outer appearance, their personality, etc.). it’s essential when it comes to manifestations of any kind as they determine your manifestation process, how, when and if you will receive your desire. all in all, your self concept answers the question about who you are.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆﹕
I have a question for you. have you ever taken a look at the terminology in manifesting? terms like …
⤷ everyone is YOU pushed out
⤷ your 3D is a reflection of YOU
⤷ YOU are the operant power
⤷ YOUR assumptions create
all of these terms imply that creation, that life begins with (or within) you. you are the cause of everything and your outer world displays the effects.
❝ as within, so without. ❞

𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐓﹕
you know that every concept in manifesting depends on your set of beliefs. what you choose to accept, becomes reality. you and you only create your entire world with your concept of self. once you have changed the way you view yourself and make yourself worthy of manifesting whatever you want, you will not only embody your desired self with the best self concept but also be a master manifester.
therefore, you need to step into your power and name yourself as your highest ideal. become that person of your dreams, embody them, act like them, talk like them, be them as if you just decided to finally let go of your old self and portray the best version of yourself possible! don’t be afraid to do so. no physical effort is needed. it only requires a change from within, your mindset.
in order to change the way you view yourself, you need to become familiar with the words that describe your desired version of you. you stop addressing your desired self that way because from now on, you are your desired self. all the nice and kind affirmations apply to you now!
you can work on your self concept step by step by affirming. once you internalize your affirmations, they will become present at all times. at some point, you won’t need to repeat them consciously because your subconscious mind will. what you can do as well is commanding your subconscious mind. tell your subconscious what you want and it‘ll give it to you! additionally, you can visualize yourself. yes, visualize yourself as the most powerful being with the greatest amount of love for themselves, and more! you can try other methods as well that will help you become used to having a perfect self concept. however, every method boils down to deciding and knowing that you have it. technically, you can skip the methods and just accept that you have a perfect self concept. it’s as easy as that!
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄﹕
I would recommend you to affirm when you feel drowsy; before going to bed and after you wake up. affirming in the state akin to sleep is very beneficial! you can also affirm throughout the day. whenever your self concept comes up in your mind, state that it’s already perfect! the same goes for every method you choose to practice.
𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 !! don’t force yourself to affirm. do it whenever you feel like it. the world isn’t gonna end if you skip it. also, don’t affirm robotically. it shouldn’t be a chore. you are stating a fact, not a wish! remember, repetition creates persistence.

𝐐𝐔𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐓﹕
begin with self.┊you are already that which you want to be, and your refusal to believe this is the only reason you do not see it.┊everything depends upon our attitude towards ourselves. that which we will not affirm as true of ourselves cannot develop in our life.┊the world is a mirror, forever reflecting what you are doing, within yourself.┊nothing comes from without. all things come from within.┊believe that you are what you want to be.┊health, wealth, beauty, and genius are not created; they are only manifested by the arrangement of your mind-that is, by your concept of yourself, and your concept of yourself is all that you accept and consent to as true.┊stop trying to change the world since it is only the mirror. man’s attempt to change the world by force is as fruitless as breaking a mirror in the hope of changing his face. leave the mirror and change your face. leave the world alone and change your conceptions of yourself.┊to reach a higher level of being, you must assume a higher concept of yourself.┊nothing is impossible to you.┊simply dare to assume you are what you want to be and you will compel everyone to play their part.┊there is nothing god cannot do!┊you can only be to others what you are first to yourself.┊change your conception of yourself and you will automatically change the world in which you live. do not try to change people; they are only messengers telling you who you are. revalue yourself and they will confirm the change.┊your opinion of yourself is your most important viewpoint. you are infinitely greater than you think you are.
There are many dangerous or otherwise harmful energies/spirits/beings that, if you're not to careful about, may latch on to you. This could be anywhere from mildly inconvenient to downright harmful to your physical or mental health. This is much less likely to happen if you are protected.
Grounding not only protects you, but is essential to staying strong, focused, and clear-headed. One of the easiest ways to do this is meditation. Focus on your breathing and your own energy. You can also exercise or spend some time in nature.
In this method, you call a higher being to you to be present with you and protect you from outside forces. Simply call to them with your intention, or in your mind, or even out loud if that makes you feel more sure.
Sheilding is a very popular and highly recommended method of protecting yourself. The way I do it is visualizing the energy at my core, and then visualizing it growing around me. I set the boundaries and what is allowed in. This should be done every day or so, as shields weaken over time.
Moving on to the tangible objects, crystals can be used to protect a person or space. All black crystals are grounding/protecting, but there are several others, including tiger's eye and selenite.
There's a reason most witches have a lot of pentacles. They're an age-old symbol of protection. Wearing a pentacle on you charged with your energy and intention is a good form of protection. Other protective symbols include the evil eye, hamsa, solar cross, and triquetra.
Please tell me if I made any mistakes!
Over the years of practicing witchcraft, many have come to me with questions and concerns about deity work and/or deity worship. It's completely natural to feel apprehensive, especially when starting something new. In this post I will get into the differences and address common fears to help you feel more confident in your practice!
Remember, working with or worshiping deities is a deeply personal journey. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Trust your intuition, be respectful, and allow yourself the freedom to explore and grow. Deities are here to guide and support us, not to instill fear.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or share your experiences! We’re all here to learn and support each other on this spiritual path! Blessed be 🤍✨🕯️

Deity work is more about forming a personal relationship or partnership with a deity. It can be less formal and more focused on mutual growth and learning. The aim is to collaborate with the deity for personal development, spiritual growth, or specific goals. Some common practices include:
meditation
journaling
divination
dreamwork
personalized offerings based on your interactions with the deity
Deity worship involves honoring and venerating a deity through rituals, offerings, prayers, and other acts of devotion. It's a more traditional and structured approach. The goal is to show respect, gratitude, and seek blessings or guidance from the deity. Common practices include:
creating altars
offering food, flowers, incense, etc.
reciting prayers
participating in festivals or holy days
Fear of Doing Things Wrong:
Flexibility: Understand that deities are often more understanding than we think. Intentions matter more than rigid adherence to rituals. If you approach with respect and sincerity, minor mistakes are often forgiven.
Learning Process: It's okay to learn and grow. Many practitioners find their path through trial and error. Deities appreciate genuine effort and growth.
2. Fear of Negative Consequences:
Respect & Boundaries: As long as you approach deities with respect and maintain clear boundaries, negative consequences are rare. Communicate openly and honestly with the deity about your fears and intentions.
Protection Practices: Incorporate protection practices into your routine, such as grounding, shielding, or using protective crystals and herbs.
3. Choosing A Deity:
Research: Take your time to research and learn about different deities. Look for ones whose attributes and stories resonate with you.
Signs & Synchronicities: Pay attention to signs, dreams, and synchronicities that might indicate a deity is reaching out to you. Trust your intuition.
4. Fear of Commitment:
There's a misconception that once you start working with a deity, you're bound to them forever. In reality, relationships with deities can be fluid and adaptable. It's perfectly okay to take breaks, reassess your spiritual path, or even change directions entirely. Deities understand that your spiritual journey is personal and ever-evolving. They are there to support and guide you, not confine you. So, if you feel the need to step back or explore a different path, know that it's a natural part of your spiritual growth and development.
5. Fear of Judgement:
Many people fear being judged by others for their spiritual practices. It's important to remind them that their spiritual journey is deeply personal and unique to them. Everyone's path is different, and what feels right for one person may not resonate with another. Encouraging others to trust their intuition and follow what feels right for them, regardless of others' opinions, is crucial. Spirituality is about finding a connection that brings inner peace and fulfillment, and that can only be achieved by staying true to oneself. So, it's essential to prioritize personal beliefs and experiences over external judgement.

Introduction to Shielding
If you haven’t already, check out my lessons on visualisation for the basic knowledge you’ll need to begin practicing shielding.
So what is shielding?
Shielding is a manipulation of energy, used to create a barrier between yourself and unwanted, usually negative or malicious energies. It’s a basic aspect of spellwork that everyone, beginner or experienced, should use to keep themselves safe.
What can I use shielding for?
Some beginner-level uses for shielding are drawing a circle, or casting a spell. A more experienced individual might use shielding in astral travel or spirit work, where there are a lot more malicious energies involved. Personally, I use shielding as often as possible, for instance when I do tarot readings, spells, spirit work, shadow work, and especially cursing. It gives that extra guarantee that you won't flood your personal space with unwanted energies.
Other uses include shielding against real-life dangers, to a certain degree. I often shield when I am walking through town at night for extra protection. But please remember to take other measures too! Call someone, pretend to be on the phone, plan your route, and even carry pepper spray if it's legal where you are.
An easy shielding method:
The easiest way to explain this is to think of your energy as a physical manifestation. Think how power attacks are shown in anime or cartoons - a streak of colour or light, or an element. Make it personable to you: fire signs (Leo/Aries/Sagittarius) might visualise fire, or a red energy or light etc.
Firstly, some people prefer to cleanse before shielding. I don't think its all that necessary but the choice is yours.
Begin by easing yourself into meditation. Get comfortable, and use whichever technique works for you. I have various methods for this in my visualisation lessons if you are struggling.
Attempt to visualise the energies surrounding you in your mind. It might be a swirling colour of light, almost like a cloud of dust. It could be flames, it could be water. Maybe try to see it held within your hand.
Now, attempt to shape this energy around your entire body. You might want to start with a bubble or a cube surrounding you. Feel this shape surrounding and protecting you. Visualise negative and unwanted energies being held back by it.
You can also layer shields, so if you are working with a particularly malicious energy you might want to have multiple shapes surrounding you, all within each other. You can also work with deities or spirits to ask them to shield you too.
Shielding Incantation
When I am shielding, I recite a spell as well as using visualisation techniques.
The shield of protection, I carry it strong, No ill wishes or trouble shall come along, You cannot harm me, or weaken my soul, My light is my weapon, and peace is my goal.
Try it out for yourself and let me know in the comments how it went! Thank you as always for reading. Please message for requests.
I don't know how to answer. I know what I think, but words in the head are like voices underwater. They are distorted.

The first use for cemetery water is to connect with the dead. Because this water is infused with death energy, its function is similar to graveyard dirt.
Put cemetery water into death witch or necromancy-related spells. I used some in my spirit work oil and necromancy ink. You can also add it to salves and oils (not on the body). Dipping a candle in it (not the wick!) and letting it dry might enhance a candle spell. Add a tiny bit to dampen your herbal smoking blend should you want to go hedgecrossing or divine.
To simplify, view cemetery water as a spirit work booster. Anything you add it to should help you connect with the dead.
Another use for cemetery water is lecanomancy, otherwise known as water scrying. Since ancient Rome, necromancers have peered into water to receive messages from the dead.
To practice water scrying, grab a clear bowl (glass is ideal) and pour cemetery water into it. Make sure that the bowl is not too dark; you want to see the water. Light a candle and keep it nearby to illuminate the space. Some people put a bit of olive oil into the water, but that is not necessary. Breathe evenly, clear your mind, and peer into the water. See what the dead wish to show you.
Another potential use for cemetery water is protection. Depending on the folklore, even imitating water can protect you from spirits.
Rub cemetery water onto your windows and doors to ward your home. While leaving a cemetery, toss some water behind you so that spirits don’t follow you home. Painting certain objects in the color of water might dissuade spirits from touching them. Include it in washes to cleanse your divination tools.
