No but Nero and V looks like one of the fandoms most popular ships it's literally what I'm bombarded with when I type in DMC5 here in Tumblr and looking at DMC memes I'm also bombarded with it. I saw someone say people not shipping it are dudebros. Like what is wrong with people. They are fucking father and son. I'm sorry I just saw you include no Nero/V in your post about no Spardacest and I needed to rant. Everytime I see that ship I let out a long, silent, and pained scream.

i'm gonna rant here, be warned.-

i am seriously so tired of seeing all the Nero/V content. that is LITERALLY THE HUMAN HALF OF NERO'S DAD. no, it doesn't matter that V is technically an entirely separate entity. no, it doesn't matter that when V and Nero interacted, V had no idea that Nero was technically his son. NONE OF THESE THINGS EXCUSE THE FACT THAT IT'S LITERALLY JUST INCEST. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. THAT IS HIS DAD.

and if people wanna be like "if you don't support [insert spardacest ship] then you're a dudebro and you're homophobic!" they can suck my nuts respectfully. i feel like this is such a common thing where people are like "I can't enjoy this piece of media unless I make a gay ship for it" and then they will find ANY MEANS POSSIBLE to make that ship happen- even if it's incestual/underage/problematic in general. having a gay ship is fine, i'm all the way here for it, until that ship is LITERALLY MORALLY FUCKING WRONG because it includes incest/adultsxminors/noncon/etc. that DOESN'T MEAN someone is homophobic just because they don't ship your weird cestie bullshit.

i do not want to explain how fucking mind boggling it is that people in the Devil May Cry community/fandom will ship incest over literally just not shipping at all, so i'm going to end this here. sorry for the rant.

Hmmm, its a popular one but i love it:

Their DT's purr like cats. They also purr in their human forms, but its louder in their DT forms.

Dante's purr i imagine to be more gravelly than the others, a bit deeper too considering how bulky his (S)DT form is. Vergil's, i can see being a little smoother, closer to whispering than a full-blown car engine purr like Dante lmao. He's a more reserved, quieter person, it makes sense. Nero's purr i imagine very trilly, and he doesnt even realize he's trilling untill somebody points it out, at which point he makes a consious effort ti stop lol. (Usually the kids point it out, Kyrie likes to listen and enjoy in silence so he doesnt stop doing it :3)

I just had to make DMC one as well.

I actually have a lot of thoughts on how they could become FrIeNdS. For example, the Lady in Red (aka Nero's Mother) could well have helped Verg with translating books. In the novel, Dante did not understand a word of the books because they were written in some old language, but Nero could read them (albeit poorly) because they were taught to do so.

In one video about the DMC actors, the following information was leaked, saying that the one playing the role of Vergil insisted that the Lady in Red was important to Verg, and not “a mistake of youth.” Even a little calm at heart. Vergil is not very scum :D
