svt stans

scoups stans:

really nice people?? like they’re so nice idk i just love them so much and they usually like to care for others the same way he does. also they’re soft and hard stans at the same time. all of them. don’t deny it coups stans. we’ve found you out.

jeonghan stans:

usually a lil more quiet but so sweet, kinda sassy but we still love them to death. usually enjoys pastels of various colors but it works so well with jeonghan’s overall aesthetic as a person. great people. soft stan? hard stan? idk somewhere in the middle that i can’t pinpoint.

joshua stans:

literally the softest and most polite people you’ll ever meet omg can you believe?? so cute and smart and kind and their joyful demeanors are absolutely to die for. cute lil bubs. love them all. majority are soft stans for sure.

jun stans:

very individualistic people. like a good laugh and aren’t afraid of uncharted territories when it comes to humor. on the verge of being too funny in a cute way. i can’t take it i love jun stans. probably like… 70% hard stans 30% soft stans

hoshi stans:

odd creatures that are either energy balls or a “i haven’t left the house in three days” type. very passionate people who always put their heart into things. probably a slut for twinkle lights. majority soft stans but hard stans aren’t necessarily rare. every soft stan has their moments

wonwoo:

soft souls who are usually not very loud but are not afraid to roast you into the next century. probably book smart but sometimes forget that common sense is a thing. 2/5 are hard stans and the remaining 3/5 are soft stans

woozi:

usually have strong opinions about stuff and (like wonwoo stans) will roast you and you will look like a burnt marshmallow after they’re done with you. don’t have a lot to say but when they do they say it proudly. i don’t think i’ve ever met a hard OR soft woozi stan… what are they… idk but we love them

dokyeom:

legitimately sweet people they usually have energy (not quite like the man himself) probably has a lot of mutuals and loves every single of them with all their heart. just a great human 10/10 for personality. 90% of the time they’re soft stans but they can have their moments.

mingyu:

chill but likes to talk and do various activities and are probably better than you at everything but they would never say that they’re too nice omg. usually have a subtle quirkiness about them but i love it. half hard stans half soft stans

the8:

not super extroverted. have an appreciation for nice things and are sweet soft souls that deserve everything. probably liked by everyone for their gentleness. but if you’re being stupid they’ll definitely be silently judging you (in a humorous way lol) mmm 75% soft 25% hard. hard minghao stans go HARD

seungkwan:

will sass you but then feel bad but won’t necessarily apologize for it. generally very bubbly people and will meet up with you just to talk and spill tea. amazing at being open and friendly wow love it. maybe like… 6/7 soft stans and 1/7 hard stans for sure i got these numbers from science so

vernon:

so cute so cute so cute so nice so great genuine people who have a talent of making people feel loved just great humans. pretty unique but not arrogant about it?? idk just great people overall. 88% soft stans 12% hard stans (note: some soft stans are actually hard stans in disguise)

dino:

all have a certain aura and energy about them that i can’t put my finger on. extremely intriguing people that may seem cold but are big softies. they’re like books on a shelf waiting to be read. great humans. beautiful souls. i don’t think i’ve encountered a hard dino stan. 96% soft stans 6% hard stans

My guys. the fact that so many of you are reblogging my post about Justice Thomas's desire to overturn Lawrence with exclamations of "how???" and with such lack of knowledge of our past is really disconcerting.

Gay sex was illegal federally in the United States until 2003 (when Lawrence was ruled on). Before Lawrence many MANY states had "Sodomy Laws" that prohibited gay sex within the state itself and criminalized homosexuality, often using targeting words like "pervert" to describe gay men much the way conservatives talk of "grooming" today. In fact prior to 1962 homosexual sex, as well as certain types of consensual sex acts between differently gendered couples, was a felony with the cost being lengthy jail time and/or hard labor. As of April 2022 14 states have STILL not repealed their sodomy laws. Keep that in mind.

In this last week of Pride month i am BEGGING you. LEARN SOME LGBTQ+ History. The history of your rights, your lack of rights, how recent it all is, how unstable your rights are RIGHT NOW. So many of what should now be our elders were killed during the AIDS Crisis. It is now up to you to learn these things yourself.

An ink illustration of two round simply drawn cats on their sides curled around eachother with their noses together. Above them is a heart, their eyes are open, and together they appear to make one cat.
An ink illustration of two round cats sitting together both leaning in for a kiss with eyes closed, their tails curled around eachother. There are three little hearts above their heads.
An ink illustration of very simply drawn cat blobs. They are sitting against eachother with tails up while one leans and gives the other a cheek kiss.

helpful reminders + ways to support abortion seekers in the US right now

some thoughts/reminders based on what i’ve seen on social media today:

this decision doesn’t just impact women! it impacts anyone who has a uterus! say what you mean and mean what you say, your words have weight and meaning! (glad we could clear that up)

grieving is normal. having big, messy, unwieldy feelings is normal. taking the time to recognize and sit in those emotions is important. wanting to protest is good. wanting to change things is great. being in touch enough with your emotions to recognize that you’re experiencing trauma is just as important.

everyone processes differently. my reaction may not look like your reaction, and yours might not look like the reactions of your friends/family members. many people have jobs/situations that preclude them from taking the sort of actions they’d like to in response to this/other social injustices they’ve seen recently. hold space for those people, the people sticking it out in places where they can’t speak their minds for the sake of creating a better place for those who come after them.

the people in the U.S. didn't ask for this. CNN polled americans after the draft opinion leaked in early may, and at the time 59% of respondents said that they'd support congressional legislation codifying nationwide abortion rights. I know it's easy to make fun of the U.S. by calling us a dumpster fire or saying you're glad your country didn't do this, but know that there are real people on the other side of the globe from you who are reeling from the whiplash of swiveling their gaze between children being gunned down in their schools and the supreme court attempting to delegitimize reproductive rights. it's not a joke for them, particularly not for those who fall into multiple minority communities and will now be facing the brunt of this ruling head-on in more ways than one.

for fucks sake. donate to abortion healthcare providers. not just PP (we love them too, but the smaller ones need the most help). learn how to support yourself/your friends in the event that you need to get an abortion and don’t live in a state where it’s protected. spend time/money investing in the protection of the rights of the groups that found out halfway through the morning that they have fewer rights than family members only one generation above them. grieve with them. care for them. act just as loudly as your words and posts.
