My makeup was destroyed by a splash of water to the face on the log flume. But the children are happy. #motherhood #familyvacay #tibidabo #barcelona In a #clairmccardell #vintage romper, a #lanvin necklace from a couple seasons ago, a #headwrap, and this year's tote of the summer from @shopclarev and @everymomcounts. I love the project and I love the font #everymothercounts #drawntoadventure #tikidolls #bespoke

The Caption Contest is on! Sharpen your wits in the comments below! Winner announced Monday 12/18 noonish or whenever the post-fête fistful of aspirin takes effect.
On your marks; Get set; GO!!!!! Time for the caption contest, now live on Facebook! Quips, witty banter, pithy comebacks, non-sequiturs, all good. Share yours on Facebook and the editors will laugh all weekend and then announce their favorite monday noon-ish. (Unprovoked innuendo is generally frowned upon. The editors prefer the spirit of "charming cocktail party" to "awkward dinner with Dad's creepy work friend." If you don't immediately understand the difference, you might be that creepy work friend...)
In the late 1970s, NASA climate scientists discovered growing holes in the ozone layer and linked them to the widespread use of CFCs. Thanks to their advocacy, CFCs were banned in 1987. The holes in ozone layer are closing and should be fully repaired by the end of the 21st century. Had CFC use continued, it was on track to destroy the ozone layer by 2030 at which point, we would not have been able to grow plants outside. Thanks to NASA scientists we have nifty things like Velcro and microprocessors, and also, a chance of grandchildren. Thanks again to NASA for letting The World's Most Fashionable Paperdoll visit last fall for the Osiris Rex launch! It was phenomenal to sit and listen to the scientists who work there. We have since adopted the NASA protocol "avoid known risks" as a personal motto.
