Nikki: What are you doing?
Vince: Stargazing.
Nikki: You're just looking up at pictures of yourself taped to the ceiling.
Vince: The stars are beautiful tonight.
One of my favorite behind-the-scenes facts about the Bakshi Lord of the Rings film is that Mick Jagger (?!!!) from the Rolling Stones was almost a part of it. He was a Lord of the Rings fan who was really interested in the production of Bakshi’s movie, and Bakshi really thought he might make songs for it.
So one day late in production Mick Jagger came over to Bakshi’s studio to see what they were doing. Everyone got so excited because MICK JAGGER was there, and he might make music for their movie!
But then they realized Mick Jagger was only there because he mistakenly thought he would voice Frodo.
Mick Jagger: So I get to be Frodo, right?
Bakshi: ….we already recorded all of Frodo’s lines months ago. Then we animated the movie to sync with the voice acting.
Bakshi: ……we thought you might make songs for our movie?
Mick Jagger: you guys really don’t me to be Frodo, huh :(
Bakshi: we didn’t know you wanted to be Frodo if you contacted us months ago we would’ve let you be Frodo
You thought that I’d stop doing these? You fools! Quarantine edition ( tag yourself)
One of the funniest failures of US school system is the fact they are legally obligated to teach us all the states but they never actually show how big Alaska is like I have actually had teachers tell me that Texas is the biggest state. We have all just convinced ourselves that Alaska is that small shrunken down thing on most US maps and the people that know it's the largest state can almost never accurately describe how large it is.
For context here is a picture

’90s Teenagers in Their Bedrooms, Adrienne Salinger
In 1995, artist Adrienne Salinger wanted to depict the authentic lives of young people in ‘90s America — a contrast to the perfect Beverly Hills 90210 types portrayed in the media. She photographed teens in the most intimate space of all: their bedrooms.
