Concept: Jasico with Praetor Jason Grace and his mysterious advisor Nico Di Angelo who you’re never sure what his motives are.
But he’s always at Jason’s side.
No one would ever guess that it was Jason who cornered Nico, sword at his throat as he calmly questioned what a spy was doing at his camp.
He was no diplomat of Pluto for the gods didn’t care for us when war broke out. They would not care to send you now, so I ask you again who are you?
They don’t know that Nico revealed his true nature and while he didn’t reveal all his cards he showed his hand more than he ever has.
That there is another battle on the horizon, and I’m here to make sure it doesn’t tear you all apart.
“And why would a son of Pluto, no a child of Hades care for the plight of Rome?”
“I don’t. But I have a sister living here and I want her to be safe. If this threat comes our way then nowhere will be safe.”
“Very well but you will answer to me, to Reyna and us alone. You will be my shadow, my eyes and ears as my advisor. It’ll grant you immunity and all the things you require.”
“Not that I’m complaining but…that’s it? You’d accept me like that?”
“I had a sister once…I would do anything to see her again. And Hazel is a dear friend. That’s all I need to know to trust you.”
“You shouldn’t trust me.”
“I could say the same.”
As the world emerges into the 21st century, newspaper articles are printed about the downfall of the legendary Van der Linde gang, one of a dwindling number of outlaw gangs remaining in America. The articles tell how Dutch's Boys were pursued from West Elizabeth all the way out to New Hanover and Lemoyne, the chase finally ending in a place called Beaver Hollow. They list the men who were taken down in the gang's last months, as well as the ones left unaccounted for, warning law-abiding citizens to be vigilant for signs of these dangerous men.
Most of the populace reading these articles either don't pay much mind to the news, or regard it merely as something new to gossip about with their peers. But there are others who find it means far more, as they read one name among the rest: Arthur Morgan.
A man reading the paper in a hotel room before he meets with a gallery owner about his latest showing remembers a wry man who chased coyotes, lured alligators, and herded horses to fuel his dream.
A widow in the safety of her mountain cabin remembers a man who saw her at her lowest and offered a hand, who taught her to hunt and kept her company over a meal.
A young couple far away in Boston remember a man who carried their letters, and faced down their families to give them a chance at freedom.
They're not alone, others sprinkled across the country who recognize the name as being attached to a man who changed their lives despite how briefly he was in it. A man with a past he was never entirely proud of, but one who managed to leave behind a legacy that others could be nonetheless.

Still thinking about a fic idea where Dutch decides to break up the gang because Micah is whispering in his ear about the efficiencies of a smaller crew.
Not that Dutch would completely separate the gang. More like he has Hosea set up camp somewhere else while he and his "perfect crew" go on a robbing spree somewhere else. And slowly they visit the other camp less and less.
It would be the train robbery crew: Micah, Bill, Javier, Arthur, Lenny, and Charles. Dutch would be oblivious to the tension.
I don't suppose you have any more Tincrow art, or even just some doodles of the tin man or scarecrow. (I love how you draw them)
I do indeed :] they're all I draw I love their rekindled relationship thing sm 😭😭 Here's them walking Dorothy (little edition) down the yellow brick road + cuddles
Werewolf Janus: *in wolf form utterly soaked by river water, locks eyes with the others* Witch Logan: Janus, please don't- Fey Roman: What? Oh NO! Vampire Virgil *grabs Patton and pulls him behind his umbrella*: DON'T! Fey Remus *full on T-posing*: Take me! Werewolf Janus: *full on body shake sending the water flying, drenching everyone but Virgil and Patton* Fey Roman: MY HAIR! AAAAAAAAAAAAH! Witch Logan: Good job... you've now soaked us all. Werewolf Janus: *satisfied huff*
Finally finished all the Prime Decepticons!!
who up thinking about how arthur john and Javier were all nothing but scared hungry strays when dutch picked them up. idk. all three of them, all they had was fear until dutch held out his hand to them. theyre all the same in the end. they were all scared. they bear the same wounds, caused by the same hands. ate out of those same hands and leaned into the hot slick blood that coats those palms. each looking at each other with pity, pity for the clueless kid that gets strung along, pity for the bitter previous cradled one now thrown aside for the new younger follower. kicks a rock.
Guess what bitch discovered Vroid and wanted to make a super effeminate Roman? (It's me, I'm bitch) His hair was a pain to make.
I'm a fandom oldie and a strong proponent of "ship and let ship", and I defend everyone else's right to ship what they love... But I think that gives people the idea that I like, automatically love every single ship??? Or every single trope?
I don't though!
There are a lot of fandom tropes that are on my "absolutely fuck no" list. There are a lot of irk kinks that are also on my "nope absolutely not" list, too. Personally, this is healthy. I'm able to look at something and go "Yep, I hate it, but it's not harming anyone, so continue to do as you please."
