i agree. before i even read your reply, i was gonna type how i love how you can interact with everything in Max Payne. i would force my friends to play Max Payne, and one of them went into a bathroom and turned on all the water at once to "drive up their water bill"
and more of a minute detail in Alan Wake 2, but in the chapter of the dark place where you go to the theater, they added water running off the gutter of the theater's awning from the rain. it added so much for me- the feeling of being in a neon noir new york city while raining. it felt so picturesque
Remedy fandom, please post down below some small, little detail that you love in one of their games (Max Payne, CONTROL, Alan Wake, Quantum Break). Just something basically insignificant but which captures your attention anyway.
For me, it's the sound of Jesse's shoes as she runs around the Oldest House. I just love that sound effect for no reason, it is so satisfying to listen to and I have no clear reasoning as to why.
