First Impressions Are Tough

Will eventually managed to convince the night-guard to let him into the office, but it took some time to get through to him—something about ‘Eggs’ having a nasty run-in with a “friendly-sounding” animatronic in the past.

A scene from Starlight Express (a musical about sentient anthropomorphic trains where the trains, carriages and trucks are played by people on roller skates). Dinah, a train carriage, skates over to her girlfriend Greaseball, a diesel engine. Dinah sings 'Greaseball you're hurt!'

Greaseball sings in return 'No, Dinah, please don't cry.' Dinah cries dramatically, slumping forward, Greaseball catches her arm.

Greaseball sings 'I'm washed up. I'm finished!" while she holds Dinah's hand.

Greaseball sings 'But, Dinah, I-' Dinah lets go of Greaseball's hands, stepping back with a smile, keen to hear what's coming.

Greaseball starts to sing 'I'm-' But turns away from Dinah, annoyed at herself, and sings 'I don't know how to tell it!'

Dinah takes her hand and turns her back around, singing 'Come on Greaseball, you can spell it!' before smiling out at the audience and skating away.

Greaseball reluctantly turns to the audience and sings 'Okay, Dinah-'
