As we welcome this month of celebration and remembrance, please remember that our Black friends and allies bore the burden for us so that we could live without fear; the black rights movement paved the way for the recognition of LGBTQ+ rights; the first Pride was a riot by queer people of colour. It’s time for us to stand and bear the burden with them. The only true way to destroy hate is to spread love and pride… BRING ON PRIDE MONTH
She is only 14 and autistic! Please share this so hopefully people from the area can see it and keep their eyes open. It's been over a week, her mom is worried sick.

The inherent fucking racism/xenophobia in the “Save Christmas” rhetoric????? They imposed lockdowns twice right before Eid, countless Hindu, Jewish, Buddhist and more holidays went by in lockdown and now that its Christmas it’s somehow more important? People out there telling all of us that our holidays and religions don’t matter and we have to step up for society (which we did btw) are now going “oh no not Christmas whatever will we do??” Now that it’s YOUR holiday you finally pay attention? Fuck off. We could have been careful and ended this months ago but y’all decided to play around until it came to Christmas. The government deciding to not give a shit about Eid but decide to “protect Christmas” tells you everything you need to know.
disorganised thoughts
I've received some criticism for accepting commissioned posts, so I want to clarify
this blog & the content I produce is currently my only means of income
I'm saving to escape a toxic household
tumblr is notoriously difficult for content-creators to monetize
I accept ko-fi / paypal / commissions instead of reblogging 'sponsored' content (ads from fashion retailers or Adam & Eve) the way most blogs my size do. I don't want this space to feel impersonal; reader support allows me to avoid commercial advertising.
I'm doing my best. I've spent years putting in full-time hours on a blog that has only just started paying part-time wages. eventually I would like to make a living writing traditionally published content, but that's a long ways off. for now I'm just trying to get by, and trying to write fun and weird and (hopefully) surprisingly helpful content on the platform I have. please bear with me. I'm simply trying to turn an obsessive passionate hobby into something I can live (frugally) on.
Exciting news.
Egypt's first female ship captain Marwa Elselehdar has been falsely accused as being the captain of the Ever Given by some foreign media, in a story that went viral and garnered a lot of hate towards her.
The only problem? She was 370km away at the time, acting as the first mate of another ship (Aida IV) and had nothing to do with the situation in the Suez Canal.
I think we should all help spread this, since some people are still sharing the malicious slanderous fake posts about her!
Technically true.
