i don’t consider myself a catholic despite having been raised in this faith, but for some reason i’ve always found saint michael to be a comforting figure... i sketched them more than once during these years and now i finally decided to color a piece

just noticed that i wrote “shubert” instead of “schubert” under the latest fanart, now i’ve changed the caption

some days ago i found myself pointing to a pdf about italy's influence in german literature while listening to schubert; it was half past midnight; my best friend, my only listener, was making exasperated grimaces. have some cute gerita

so i found this stunning violet carpenter bee the other day 

finally i’ve finished reading It Devours! and i loved it... the part in which kevin describes his meeting with the smiling god was hilarious and i wanted to draw something related (also centipedes are super fun to draw)

I haven’t listened to wtnv in maybe three years, but some weeks ago i stumbled on the db logo on youtube and... it has been so, so nice hearing kevin’s voice again. I ended up catching up with all the wtdb episodes and now i’m listening to the podcast again from the start...

when i made this drawing i deliberately changed both daniel’s and simon’s uniform, but then i forgot to write at least a comment about it. In my previous drawing i wanted to keep the concept of objectification (and yet to remove that hideous triangle), so i used a barcode, but when some days ago i decided to sketch a definite version of that uniform for future references, i ended up not liking that idea anymore. 

the one here above is the final version of those sketches ... in the end i just replaced the triangle with a modified version of the cyberlife logo, plus i replaced the armband and changed the luminous parts of the shirt.  I think it is aesthetically pleasing and it serves the purpose of recognizing immediately who’s wearing it as an android.

the concept might change soon, but for now i’m pretty satisfied with the current result

Happy new year!!

This is the first year I manage to fill the whole template and I'm so glad about it! Sometimes I'm still very unsure about my art and I don't know very well what direction I want it to take, but... at least I have accomplished the goal to post more regularly. In 2019 I would like to get more comfortable with traditional art...
