"Trapped Dreams"

In a small corner of Gaza, where the lights fade and darkness falls, Mahmoud sat alone, thinking. He was a young man like any other, dreaming of a better future, a safe home, and a job that would provide him and his family with a decent life. But the dream turned into a nightmare, and life into a daily struggle for survival.
Mahmoud's family, which includes 43 members, lived under the burden of siege and war. They lost their homes, and watched their dreams fade before their eyes. Every day was a new challenge, searching for a living amidst the lack of water and electricity, and the fear of bombing that could come at any moment.
"I saw hope in the eyes of my children, but the siege was taking it away from them little by little," Mahmoud says sadly. "They wanted to play in the streets, and go to school, but all that surrounded them was destruction and fear."
Mahmoud's dream now is simple, to get his family out of this hell, and to start a new life in a safe place. But the costs of migration are high, and far beyond their means.
Noha is a story of courage and determination. She reminds us that disability is not a barrier, and that anything is possible if you are determined enough.
“We need your help,” Mahmoud says, his voice trembling. “We need a chance to build a better future for our children.”
just remembered shows used to have 20-25 eps per season

A bit on anxiety is sure to show up when you're a first time dad
Have some Dad Wukong and Dad Macaque doodles from the Stone Monkey AU.
I promise I will get to the spicy part of this AU soon!
For now, enjoy this fluff
because it won’t last long
Anyway, can you tell I drew these in the spam of several weeks? XD
Morning warm up! MK wanted the little monkey Plush, and Pigsy couldn't say no xD
So you've got the usual falling star splitting the clouds! Except Megabird did a funny and it was undercooked!
This star crashed smack into the Aviary courtyard, causing enough of a glittery scene to alert other sky kids. Undercooked child can't even land right either apparently.
These alerted Sky kids were Nadir, Nightly, Elulire, Glitch, Sol, and Radio. Intrigued by the display, they decided to embrace this moth into their community. Then they questioned why it was so off from the normal entrance of a newly born moth.
Turns out Leora and Sausage Roll snorted an 8th of oregano, and they thought it would be funny to do questionable shit with prayers.
Peach was not happy with this and warned them not to beforehand, but they're dumbasses.
Elulire, with her more knowledgeable interest in the winged lights, took the moth to get her first glowy boi.
After things settled a bit, the other's began to fight on what to outfit this moth with. As the kingdom of Sky is cosmetic hell....the usual.
Sausage Roll took advantage of the chaos and snuck her away into a flamingo onesie. He named her Bean, and it stuck.
Other Characters owned by Morbid, Radio-Man, Glitchi, Eclipse-Fox, MrBirdzone, Peachy, Beanguini, Nightly, and Nadir.
I don't remember their blog names aaaaaa...
I like this better then what we got honestly
Comet in Moominvalley 🌠 alternative ending (or not ending... of course, the comet doesn't hit)
As the family was about to take shelter in the cave, they stopped at the sight of the raging comet cutting through the clouds and revealing the impending disaster. They all knew then, yet no words were spoken between them, for there was nothing left to say. This was the end.
I was left utterly speechless at how poorly this story was adapted in Moominvalley. There was no impact, no sense of urgency or drama. In the book, as well as the 90s film, there is this constant sense of dread from the comet looming in the sky. Even though disaster feels inevitable, the family keeps going and stay together till the end.
In Moominvalley, the comet isn't a threat until we're halfway through the episode, leaving very short time for building up the tension. And yet, even after the reveal, the comet still doesn't feel threatening, because nobody seems to care?!
And don't get me started on the thing with the Groke 😤 what even was that.
At the bare minimum, they could have given us a moment like this to let us feel the emotional impact of when the characters believe this is the end. Just something to make us care. Also, by having Snufkin grab Moomintroll's paw, it could show the continuation of Snufkin's arc of learning to love and depend on his friend, rather than running away. Plus, it seems like a fitting "show, don't tell" solution to what he never got to actually say at the mountains episode 👀
This was just supposed to be an animatic, but I apparently can't help myself, so oops, I animated it instead lol
So next pages are taking longer than expected so here take some dadcaque and his found daughter
