I just watched I saw the TV glow last night and omg. This movie. I cried 4 separate times and didn't even know why I was crying for any of them. After the movie ended I just sat and watched the credits roll and cried and thought about the masterpiece I had just watched. It was one of those movies where it feels wrong to speak once it's over, I was so absorbed in it that my voice sounded alien to me and didn't sound right until I woke up the next morning. I cannot stop thinking about Owen and Isabel, if you only watch one movie this summer pleasepleaseplease make it this one!!!

Ok I know everyones upset that Chloe doesn't seem to be in Max's life anymore, one way or another, but I feel like in order to honor the player's choice of just friends or girlfriends, Chloe can't be in the "main" timeline but may show up as one or both of those in other timelines, I'm reaaaaalllyyy hoping to see her aged up, with the big change from lis1 Max to DE Max, I think she's going to look really cool

Ik I just started posting but I feel that I should warn you guys I probably won't be posting regularly, I have neither the drive nor perseverance of an ao3 author. However, my part-time job is really boring so I should be posting semi-regularly throughout the summer- no promises though!!
I think the "high school sweetheart" thing is just Max being secretive with her friends, I see it as her trying to avoid further questions on a sensitive topic- i.e. a very emotionally intense relationship with her (possibly ex) best friend. From what we've seen so far, Max is still very similar to her old geeky self but is more mysterious and is probably carrying some trauma from lis 1, so her dialogue choices with new characters may be limited in information revealed regarding Max's past. I'm sure whatever happened between Chloe and Max will be revealed in time but idk, I'm really trying to trust the developers on this one

Idk if other fans feel this way, but I honestly like the original lis better than the remastered version. Obviously the shaders are a bit better for remastered, but I feel like most of the game loses that hazy nostalgic glow. The original graphics weren't even that bad, just lacking in expressiveness and frame rates at times. I'm also not fond of the remastered eyes, they feel too big and even less realistic than the original ones, plus most characters, including Chloe and Rachel, got pigment changes for their eyes that I feel don't fit the palette of the rest of the game. Anyways, the story is amazeballs no matter what and I will always love these characters, regardless of their rendering levels<3

I'm actually so excited for double exposure, I know it may not live up to Fandom expectations but I can accept that, I'm just super happy the developers chose to continue Max's story at all. No matter what, I know I'll enjoy playing the game and seeing where the story goes, it already looks super interesting just from the content out for it right now so I have high hopes!!!
