After Israeli social media shared these videos and they got viral, they tried claiming these men were hamas members, THEY ARE NOT. They're civilians who were displaced with their families in shelters before Israeli soldiers abducted them.

Families are recognizing their brothers/fathers/grandfathers and sons by the videos shared here. They already executed a number of them.

As a Palestinian, this is the most painful, horrifying thing I had to witness. 63 days of bombing, killing a huge number of these men's families, you also abduct them and humiliate them while filming??? How can they take pride in this. This is genocide, this is holocaust 2.0 and I hope it hunts everyone who can put an effort to stop it but didn't.

Mental Crop Rotation

When farmers grow the same crop too many years in a row, it can leave their soil depleted of minerals and other nutrients that are vital to the health of their fields.

To avoid this, farmers will often alternate the crops that they grow because some plants will use up different minerals (such as nitrogen) while other plants replenish those minerals. This process is known as “crop rotation.”

So the next time you find that you need to step away from a project to work on something else for a while, don’t beat yourself up for “quitting” that project. Give yourself permission to practice “mental crop rotation” to maintain a healthy brain field.

Because I’ve found that when that unnecessary guilt and pressure are removed from the process, a good mental crop rotation can help you feel more energized and invigorated than ever once you’re ready to rotate back to that project.

A screenshot of the heading of an article on Medium.com, written by user "The Grief Witch". The title of the article is "What is the Ethical Way to Climb Out of Hell?". The article is accompanied by a worms-eye-view photo of several people waving Palestinian flags.

I just wanted to share this article about Palestine's right to revolt and why it is important that we support it. It also has sources embedded in the text that debunk misinformation about them and Hamas. I implore everyone to read it and spread this information around.

Edit [12/25/23 3:19 PM GMT+]: I should also emphasize that the article is an opinion piece, so I also encourage you to also do further research to come to your own critical conclusions.

As a whole, the article still explores why Palestinians resist. As someone whose entire history was build on resisting against oppressors (I'm Filipino), I can understand and empathize where they are coming from. This is one way that I wish to express my solidarity.

The “you don’t have to be Muslim to stand with Palestine” phrase has always made me uncomfortable because for one, even though I am a Palestinian Muslim and I am happy to see so many people in the ummah supporting Palestine, it ultimately reads as supporting one *kind* of Palestinian.

Islamophobia is a huge factor in demonizing Palestinians, yes, and a lot of Palestinians are indeed Muslim and have used Islam as a form of resistance against the occupation, but (and I have said this before) it’s islamophobia rooted in hatred of Palestinians as indigenous people. All Palestinians, Muslim or not, even Arab or not, are considered to be a threat and are treated as such. It’s not *just* islamophobia, addressing it as just islamophobia is neglecting the other factors of Palestinian oppression.

Palestinian Christians in Gaza are under extreme threat as they compose a small population and many were killed in the recent Israeli bombing of Saint Porphyrius church, additionally, Israeli settlers have been trying steal land belonging to the Armenian Palestinian community in the Armenian quarter of the old city of Jerusalem.

Something I will make note of is that I want to see more Muslims not only learning to include Palestinians of other faiths or backgrounds in their language, but also using the same breath they speak about Palestine to also speak about Sudan, Tigray, Syria, Armenia, Western Sahara, West Papua, Congo, etc. many of our struggles are connected and we cannot be free until we are all free.

You first met Jaime Lannister during the Year of the False Spring, at the Great Tourney of Harrenhal—you had only been ten years of age, still starry-eyed and gentle-of-tongue. Knights, lords, and ladies hailing from all over Westeros were buzzing about the opening feast. Chalices of golden ale, platters of fruit and cheese, and sizzling trays of freshly-roasted meats were splayed out over several long tables.

To your right was your eldest brother, Brandon, biting into a large turkey leg and gingerly offering you a piece when he caught you ogling him. To your left was your sister Lyanna, popping voluminous grapes into her mouth and chattering to your two other brothers, Benjen and Ned, across the table. Her grey eyes were alight with glee, and she tipped her head back to laugh when Benjen made a snarky comment about Ned’s overgrown hair.

You were well into your second serving of glazed lemon cakes when the crown Prince, Rhaegar Targaryen, stood up front. A hush descended upon the crowd when the handsome, silver-haired man brandished a large, golden harp.
