It was a real honour to have @folyxfanart work on this for me. To say that her artwork is stunning is simply an understatement. It is so much more ❤️

I’m about to be rather vulnerable as this piece is something close to my heart. For the past few months and counting, I’ve been writing a crossover Leon x Reader fic where I placed Resident Evil characters in the universe of Vampire: The Masquerade. It’s been a real rollercoaster ride and pretty much my biggest project to-date, which started out as me just wanting to write about two fandoms I love for myself. I am my own worst critic and each week pressing that ‘Post’ button is unimaginably nerve-wrecking. 

That said, commissioning Folyx has been such a dream. It was so nice to indulge in something without any judgment, and her creativity and dedication is like a breath of fresh air. She drew RE2R Leon as the Toreador vampire I gave life to and his ‘Angel’ — a version of Reader whom he Embraced (*I usually treat her as a soft OC in my stories).

Toreadors in love? What’s new, most say. Well, these two have certainly been on a helluva journey, and have more trials and tribulations to face. There’s something comforting is seeing them finally accept themselves and each other, exchanging and consuming vitae, lost yet found in their better half’s arms.

I am here with a bunch of absolutely gorgeous boys at the gym. I was feeling really inspired by one of the @krasnyzmeya artworks (unfortunately I wasn’t able to find it). memories of my school days literally flashed before my eyes. that’s strange because I don’t really like to go to school with all these “you have to do tHiS.!. you need to do tHaT to be successful in life! no it’s not enough!..” but now with this quarantine I started to miss my school routine. I hate PE class though...

anyway, hope you enjoy! basically there’s lysander disapproving castiel’s attitude, armin disapproving PE class itself, nathaniel trying to brighten armin’s mood and kentin being the fitness-model he is lol

Still reading the artbook and I am so invested in it. Each characters have really interesting interviews and they all mostly try to reverse the stereotype people would put on them.

For exemple, for Alexy being gay:

Peggy: Have you ever dated a girl? Alexy: Is there really anyone who cares about that? Peggy: Yes So? Alexy: No, never. I’ve always prefered boys. Peggy: And when did you realize it? Alexy: That I didn’t really like girls? That’s because of a classmate I was in love with… She played with me and kept me hoping to finally break my heart. Since then I decided I will never be tricked again and I turned to boys. Peggy: R-Really? Alexy: No, just jokin’, ahah! Peggy: That’s not funny…. Alexy: Well, then, what about you, Why do you like boys? Peggy: Well.. Because… okay, that was a stupid question. 

Or with Lysander: 

Peggy: Are you at ease with technology? Lysander: … Just because I like dressing with Victorian clothes doesn’t mean I still live in that time period. Peggy: So you have a computer? Are you on social medias? Lysander: Of course… But I don’t get online much. Peggy: Why is that? Lysander: I tend to forget my password.

Or on Kim: 

Peggy: Will you ever wear a skirt? Kim: I had to wear a dress for the play, wasn’t it enough? Peggy: That was a dress, not a skirt  Kim: You’re nip picking! Peggy: So, no chance to see you in feminine clothes anyday soon? Kim: My clothes are feminine, I don’t see what you have against it. 

Or with Li:

Peggy: Do you practice any martial arts? Li: …. Peggy: Do you know how to cook nems? Li: ….  Peggy: Do you eat with chopsticks? Li: Okay, that’s enough those clichés now! It’s not because I have Chinese origins that I do all of that ! I don’t do sport, I don’t know how to cook and even If I know how to eat chopsticks I eat with a fork!
