I’ve been trying to make reference drawings for the ch&t characters so I can animate them. Not the final drawing, but here’s my current version of Sydney. I feel like I’m making him too plain but I’m not sure what to add 😗

Whenever I hear any chnt character's voice outside of the podcast, I can always go "Oh that's Emily Safko" "Oh thats Blue Mayfield" But I can't hear Belov and think "Thats Belov" thats just Jedidiah A A Martin

here is everyone who got him a gift and what they got him!!!

Lucille: every year she gives him the exact same thing: card with $50 cash. neat!

Elijah: he put a basket of things on sydney’s windowsill, or at least it was assumably him, because. who else would do that. this might be a nicer thing to do if it wasn’t all weird stolen shit inside.

Rowan: a NICE blanket. a real soft one since sydney is always really cold

Juniper: he got him a graphoscope and sydney was very happy but didn’t have a clue what it was or how to use it.

Salem: she said happy birthday. she still has a little bit of beef with him.

Yvonne: she got him one of those necklaces that you can put a crystal inside of :]

Soren: despite being absurdly rich, his gift was decor for the worms (which was actually very appreciated!! thought that counts.)

Joshua: sydney mentioned ONE time several years ago that he wanted a djungelskog and he remembered it for some reason

Matthew: matthew put sprinkles onto bread and brought that to sydney :]

Marisol: button maker!!!!

Jedidiah: jedidiah has gotten a gift for sydney every year without fail since they met. they’re ALWAYS heartfelt and personalized. for the first time, that summer he did not hand sydney a gift. sydney waited all day expecting for it to be a surprise only for jedidiah to remain off site. this is not to say he failed to buy him a gift- he absolutely did- but could not bear to be that close with him. remains in his office in a drawer as looking at it only hurts him.
