I'd be rawayarl
HUUUH?!?!?!?!! EXCUSE ME?????
Calling this playable would be an overstatement, as this barely has anything in it. Although there's a lot of going on in the backed that makes the magic work.
For starters I am not using Godot's built-in networking, as it kind of really.. really bad. Absolutely zero security or validation, it's like blindly accepting and passing through data without looking at it first. Not using it gives some benefits and some downsides, but the former outweighs the latter.
I am extremely proud of how the networking framework came out to be and work, I learned a hellalot about how video game networking works and how it's supposed to be done. I have really high hopes for future progress. I also recorded this lil' demonstration video of it a sever and two clients in action...
What I'm also super proud of is the chat, ohh the chat. I have this weird communication tools-autism thing where I could work on it indefinitely just adding silly features to that chat until it was borderline perfect but i stopped myself because making the damn game work was more important than a silly chat.
Those with some Rogue knowledge might know that "Rogue doesn't have a chatbox!" To which I say "STAGA does what Rogu-don't!" (That was corny as hell) I have some cool ideas for how communicating will work in STAGA.
Now allow me to go to sleep as it's 6 am...
