Romance
I saw your love for poetry and it instantly clicked together! It's been a while since I've written an ode so I thought, why not?

An Ode to Our Romance
Growing up
You hear love stories
Turned tragedies
Festering
Dying
Hating
All things bad
Adults
Tell you
Divorce
Is normal
Marrying one
You don’t
Love
Is normal
And
Always looking for
The One
Is normal
If that is so
Then
I must be abnormal
I must be
Broken
Because
I love you
And I will
Forever
You
Fill
My days
My time
My heart
And I thank you
I wish
For nothing more
Than you
Your words
Break the silence
With your
Colorful language
And how absolutely colorful
All of the leaves
In all of the trees
In Autumn
How colorful the sun is
In this crisp fall day
With you
As you dance me around
In the rain
Laughing
Playing
Living
The droplets
In your hair
In your eyes
And we both smile
On a playground
With childlike humor
Two adults
Dashing around
Jumping
High into the air
From the swings
Slipping fast down
The cold
Metal slides
Spinning
Together
On the merry-go-round
We love
Wildly
Budding in these
Cold quiet days
Like flowers
Fighting off
A frost
So
Fuck them
This is
Our beautiful
Romance
GMorning, GNight by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Illustrated by Jonny Sun
I want to be written about on stick notes
I want something penned for me on a coffee stained napkin
I want to be written for on a mint gum wrapper
Small love letters secretly scrawled on the inside of locker doors
Someone write me a sonnet, a saga in four parts composed in a private diary by flashlight.
Sweet nothings etched in the stars themselves, in a not left in my lunch, on the fridge, next to my shoes
Tell me the secrets of your heart in the margins of your math note
Confess your love on a scrap piece of paper torn carelessly from a notebook
first fire of the wintery season
Thank you for making this for me @justalineinasong0 :)
twenty one pilots - Smithereens
i see musical notes hold hands and french kiss under moonlight
i see frozen waterfalls dance in my rear view mirror
i see waves crash against golden sand, sketching sensual rivulets into the Little Rock’s
all of this, and i still can’t find love?
I breathe in your words like cigarette smoke
I’ve never smoked ever but this must be what it’s like
It’s stings my throat and singes my tongue with sweet burning flavour
I’ve inhaled so much second-hand smoke from being a third wheel
This has to be what it’s like
I love it
The sweet smokiness
It’s like having a part of you inside me
Closer to my heart
Eating away at my lung tissue
A disease that I welcome with a greedy breath
I love you
I mumble through the smoke
I love you
But it was a lie
A little while ago I was inspired by @thatsthat24 (Thomas Sanders) to create my own sides! I’m not the greatest artist so this was a big project for me. Thank you Thomas for creating such amazing content that inspires me and encourages me to keep creating amazing things :)
Jasper is national park
A landmark in my mind
A place for long walks
And quiet conversations
Tall trees that wave as you pass
The smell of rain
When you first wake up
Gravel paths and muddy trails
Whispering leaves when the wind
Blows a little harder than before
The colour green in every form it can take
Making you love the colour anew every second
Holding cold hands
Pockets that are warm
Beanies and black sweaters
Watery eyes and explaining that you’re not crying it’s just the wind
Hugs that hold on and don’t plan on letting go
Friendship braclets on dirty ankles
Hiking boots because they’re practical
