Fierce Deity Is Chill Actually, Hes Here To Say Hello

I love Danny as a cryptid energy. Like at first he's just vibing over gotham like a big jellyfish full of stars essentially filter feeding on the corrupted ectoplasm. The bat fam are completely at a loss of what to do. He's not hurting anyone and he's kinda pretty. They just have a giant translucent space whale chilling in the sky. Red hood the first to make contact standing on a roof waving to him.

"Um hey can we like talk?" He shouts at the blob.

Danny comes down and sheds his massive form, turning into a king with too many of just everything, and then just a teenager?

He tilts his head looking at hood, eyes containing multitudes look odd on a kid wearing a galaxy print hoody and jeans (are those jeggings?). He shakes his head and when he opens his eyes again they are normal human blue.

"Yeah," he says, "you look like you might need some help."

"Um," says Hood, "Do you want a cookie? I'm not sure what a good sacrifice is but Zatanna says things valuable to the caster are usually more powerful. And like these are the best. My grandpa makes them."

"Sure," says the kid taking a bite of one, "Man these are good. So I suppose you want to know what's going on with your ecto situation?"

"Ecto?"

"Yeah like the green stuff?"

"The pits? Pit rage?"

"Pits? Is that what the puddles were? The guys around there were not happy when I ate those."

"You ate the Lazarus pits?"

"Yeah kinda tasted like the blue cotton candy? Ecto with lots of negative emotions and magic tend to taste kinda like blue raspberry."

"That's... A lot to process. Are you going to eat the pits...ecto in me?"

"I can but it's what's holding you together. So that would kill you and send your soul to eternal rest."

"Sounds bad."

"It's not but that's not your only option. Obviously I can leave you as you are. I'm guessing you get outbursts where the negative emotions take over?"

"Pit rage yeah"

"So there's that. Or I can replace the bad ecto with good that would make you a Half like me. Half human - Half Ghost. Pros include some superpowers, at minimum flight, invisibility and intangibility, eternal life, and access to the infinite realms. Cons include an awkward adjustment phase, difficulty controlling your emotions, and you would be locked out of your eternity of choice. Once you're a ghost you're a ghost forever."

"That's a lot to consider."

"Yeppers"

"Can I take a bit to consider?"

"Absolutely. My name is Danny Phantom. If you yell that out I should be able to hear you from anywhere in the multiverse. I'm going to be here for a couple of years your time anyway cleaning up your ecto sphere. Looks like the entire universe's bad ecto all coagulates over this city so I'll just be floating around. Feel free to tell whatever authority you want that they can ask to talk to me. I won't stop and none of you can make me but I can explain what I'm doing and it's good for the universe as a whole."

"Okay, um thanks. Do you want another cookie for the road?"

"Sure! Have a good one dude!"

"Erm... You too?"

Short DPXDC Prompts #1014

Anyone with the powers of a ghostly wail has the ability to perfectly mimic the voices of anyone they hear. This can lead to many interesting situations. - Danny choosing at random someone else’s voice to imitate while hiding from the GIW. Said random person is a Bat or a JL member (I really like the idea of him imitating Hal Jordan or Clark Kent) and they overhear this dude who stole their voice talk to someone like it’s just your average day. - Dan saving someone out of old habits (damn instinctual reflexes from his ‘hero phase’) and chooses the voice of Superman or Batman to help console the person he saved. If they associate him with a hero they’re less likely to freak out after all. Luckily for him it’s pitch black and the person can only see his rough build and not his face. This leads to said hero getting word of someone pretending to be them. Not good for Dan. -  in an attempt to remain anonymous during a JL emergency hotline call, Danny mimics whoever is on the other end of the line. Needless to say, this freaks the hero out big time. And there’s so many more wonderful things that could stem from this ability! What other funky shenanigans do you think Danny/Dan/Dani/etc could get into with this?

DP x DC Ancient of Space: Lair

I’ve seen Danny being the ancient of space pop up a few times. A lot of it interprets that as the ancient of outer space, but I propose he has dominion pver the concept of physical space. Clockwork has time, Danny would have space, making them the counterparts for each other

So, imagine if you will, Danny only recently coming into his spatial powers retreating to his lair in the Ghost Zone. It’s too dangerous to have uncontrolled spatial distortions just randomly appearing in the human world. 

His lair is an extension of himself. His spatial powers extend not just to himself, but to his lair. It connects to liminal spaces. Walking through school hallways after hours? One of those doors leads to his lair. All night diner with flickering florescent lights and you’re the only customer? Carefull going to the bathroom or you might just end up somewhere else. Closed down building, or even buildings that never were there. Sometimes at just the right time, places just exsist, and they all lead to Danny’s lair. Inside is an MC Escher esque labyrinth of rooms, hallways, tunnels, ever shifting as their connections to the human world alter and shift.

Enter the Batfam

I pick Tim for this. He sees a building he’s never seen before on a street he’s very familiar with. He checks the address. 

“Hey Oracle? Is there a 147 Becker street?”

“No, Becker street stops at 144 before merging into Roosevelt.”

“That’s what I thought, but I’m there, I see it right in front of me.”

“What?”

Tim is too curious for his own good, and probably a bit sleep deprived. He enters the building only to get turned around and not be able to find where he came in from. It wouldn’t be so concerning if the building didn’t seem to go on and on. 

Next thing we know, Danny finds Red Robin wandering around, completely lost in his lair. The tricky part is getting him out around the right area and time, because space and time are connected, and when one is weird, so is the other. They need to take the scenic route, much to the impatience of Red Robin. He eventually gets him close enough: Bloodhaven. Tim can always get a ride back from Dick, then he looks at his watch. 

It’s only been 30 minutes. He had been wandering for hours, yet only 30 minutes had passed. 

Que confusion and shenanigans when somehow, yet more Bats wander into Danny’s lair

The Time Travel Trope aka each side of the ship travel back in time somehow to the counterpart's past self but in TROD AU

I wrote a mini-draft for this idea that might turn into an actual one-shot but just these for now. Second half is more shitpost than serious cause I really think Narinder would have to navigate a distrustful Lamb very carefully, and Lamb would mess with Bishop Narinder

The infinite realms houses many souls. New ones are unheard of .

When plasmius fully formed it was felt by all magic users a in every dimension. A sign of a new realms ghost. Whose power level was high but not quite an ancient.

Then a second came nearly 20 years later. A lower lvl one. Still capable of tearing a whole In dimensions to travel.

Then the third. The same year. When phantom formed. It was from pure ectoplasm the very thing that fills the infinite realm. Phantom was created by the realms itself. An ancient in the making.

Somehow a third in a year. But one that felt wrong. Powerful but then it sapped away coming back. It felt unstable before the sensation faded.

The JLD know these have all come from there dimension. Somehow 3 new realms ghost had been created in a year. They had already been trying to track the first. It was constantly coming in and out of the realm.

Then the baby ancient formed. The three newest realms ghost were often felt together. The three frequented an area in Illinois. On the maps a wooded area.

No one was expecting a town. Nor the baby ancient desperately defending a green glowing dog that wasn’t moving. Or the ghost who looked like. Gender bent younger version.

Especially not for the younger ghost to turn back into a living and breathing human.

Why where these guys in white even attacking the realms ghosts?!?!
