the Poignancy(TM) of the Jim-Stricklander dynamic: mentor turned opponent, protégée turned enemy. really gets me in the gut because it's so painfully obvious that Strickler actually did want to protect Jim on some level and genuinely valued his student's bright-eyed enthusiasm and heroic nature up until it started being a real threat to his goals, at which point he became vicious and cruel with horrible ease.

but also, the Hilarity(TM) of how hedge-wizard assassin's declared nemesis is a teenager whose level he frequently descends to in an increasingly undignified series of slapfights, powertripping, and taunting that culminates with Stricklander dating Jim's mom, only for him to fall hard for said lady who instilled all these obnoxious values in the kid in the first place. peak tragicomedy. no notes.

thecollarshop - is where i got mine. They use real leather last i looked and specialize in bdsm quality wear so its fairly sturdy and so far hasnt bled dye on me. The quality has held up for me but then again im an occasionally collared cat not a full time wearer. Hope this helps a bit!

would anybody happen to know where i could find a good real leather spiked collar that doesn't leave stains?

last time i got one, the black dye started staining my neck and fingers after a while, and i don't want a repeat of that :(
