the Poignancy(TM) of the Jim-Stricklander dynamic: mentor turned opponent, protégée turned enemy. really gets me in the gut because it's so painfully obvious that Strickler actually did want to protect Jim on some level and genuinely valued his student's bright-eyed enthusiasm and heroic nature up until it started being a real threat to his goals, at which point he became vicious and cruel with horrible ease.

but also, the Hilarity(TM) of how hedge-wizard assassin's declared nemesis is a teenager whose level he frequently descends to in an increasingly undignified series of slapfights, powertripping, and taunting that culminates with Stricklander dating Jim's mom, only for him to fall hard for said lady who instilled all these obnoxious values in the kid in the first place. peak tragicomedy. no notes.

Honestly? Narilamb is probably the funniest ship out there. What do you mean it’s a cat and a sheep. What do you mean cats look at headbutts like a sign of affection but sheep look at it as an attack. What do you mean they both can purr actually. Please help a Family of Five Disabled Queer folk (and their three cats) leave their red state and afford food and medication!!!

I don't know how many people this will reach, but I am a disabled trans NB who lives with their Two Transgender Parents, one with type 1 diabetes and the other with a failing hip, and two AuDHD siblings who are both queer/questioning and disabled as well!

Our breadwinner was fired last year from her job of 15+ years and has yet to find a job even though she searches every single day multiple times a day, and we are rapidly running out of money and resources to afford life saving medications and food! We have maybe 60-90 days of insulin/thyroid left if rationed and can NOT afford any more, and medicaide is rejecting our every attempt to apply. We have no other family to rely on and have nowhere else to go if our house is repossessed before we can sell it.

I don't know where or how to set up a proper donation fund, but please, please help us if you can. Thank you!

first post on the new blog. The old one i'd had since nearly the start of tumblr. but a mild manic episode told me to rebrand and by then the old blog was pretty heavily bogged down. So I'm starting fresh!
