Season 15 Is Over And I'm-

Here are my designs for the main 4 + my designs for my rewrite

Most of the stuff I’ve posted so far is under the ninjago rewrite tag (the main point is that zane is human and he actually dies in season 3 and the boys are actually allowed to grieve) the following is just the new stuff I came up with

(Yes I know there are a lot of parallels to ATLA and TLOK, maybe I’ll work on that maybe it’ll stay like this bc it’s my silly little AU and my monkey brain does whatever it wants :) )

- jay is almost blind on one eye bc of the first time he used his powers, the lightning kinda fried his eye and everything he can see on that eye is super bright and blurry so he sometimes wears an eyepatch

- after zanes death he tries to distract himself as much as possible, hosting that tv show, becoming super extravagant and acts like he was never part of the ninja team. He also uses his powers less and less, first still a little for shenanigans on tv but in the end he completely abandons them and actually unlearns how to use them. As the team gets back together he tries to play it cool by being his flamboyant tv self and gloss over the fact that he can’t summon his powers anymore

- there are no previous elemental masters. The first spinjitzu master unlocked his powers on accident and caused a shift in the universe or something and that’s why some others in ninjago got elemental powers as well. The boys are the first to have them

- since kai and nya parents died when they were 5 and 3 and didn’t have any relatives to care for them they grew up in an orphanage. The headmaster was very cruel and abusive so kai and nya ran away when they were 10 and 8. they grew up on the streets and came into contact with a lot of bad people, so when zane dies kai drifts back into that world and.... gets worse.
