I Do Think It's Kinda Weird That The Common Response To "polyamorous People Are Oppressed" Is Laughter

I do think it's kinda weird that the common response to "polyamorous people are oppressed" is laughter and ridicule. As if the societal status quo doesn't enforce monogamy, as if straying from monogamy isn't punished or treated badly, as if hatred of polyamory isn't always acted out with homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia and racism. I think it's funny that someone will be like "the nuclear family is bad" can see that society forces the concepts of straight/cis good but gay/trans bad, but can't for a second believe monogamy is part of all that. It's just very silly.

every sale helps me get closer toward escaping my unsafe housing situation. i am currently living in a home where the gas is not turned on, the toilet is broken, the shower is broken, we currently have no ability to boil hot water to cook, have no microwave, or toaster. we are surviving with a space heater but it is November and it is getting very cold. i am not eating very much. every sale helps a lot, thank you for considering supporting me!

Thank you so much for your support over the years, and sticking with me while I'm slowly chewing my way through this book. I'm very excited to share this story! It'll be updating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday thanks to the massive Patreon backlog. Patreon will continue to update as I finish pages, which happens on a sporadic non-schedule.
