ok tumblr, maybe you can help me. i’m thinking of a spirk fic where kirk and spock are captured and spock is shot in front of jim, so he thinks he’s dead. jim finds out later that spock actually hasn’t died because spock rescues him and jim has a pretty bad reaction to the whole thing. this is only a part of the fic, though… any of it sounding familiar?

it's spirk, and jim and spock get captured. jim thinks that spock dies (he gets shot in front of jim) and jim kinda loses it while he's in jail. spock turns out to be alive and then they escape the planet together
i've looked HIGH AND LOW for this fic and im pretty positive that this scene i'm describing is embedded into a much longer plot/fic. if anyone could suggest fics i would so appreciate it.
