Don’t choose someone because they’ll have pity on your insecurities. Choose someone who you can love through the strength of Jesus, not through the weaknesses of your past.

People deserve more than our fear of being alone and of never being loved emotionally and physically by another person. People deserve more than only loving because we so desperately are in need of love. So let’s make Jesus our priority so we can treat each other respectfully and with the kind of love Jesus teaches us to have for one another rather than through the world’s idea of love that always fails.
