Ill never forgive the aftg fandom for saying aftg is poorly written but loveable. it is so fucking well written. The characters are all interesting individually and as group dynamics. The plot is unexpected but always makes sense. Theres so many incredible 1 liners said. Theres humour. Theres heartfelt love. Theres angst. You can cry and you can laugh and you can get invested. Nora made characters with actual fucking personalities instead of just catalysts for neil's story. She did this so well she was able to take 2 minor characters and give them an entire sequel.

might be reading into it too much but you know what? I think Jeremy not being able to have a real golden retriever because his family is allergic is symbolism for the fact that Jeremy’s family isn’t happy with the current Jeremy that they have and instead he has to put up a fake cardboard version of himself to please them and everyone else. But that might just be me 🤷‍♀️

People in the aftg universe should be happy that Neil is happy with just Exy. Like, imagine what it would be like if he personally went after someone to kill them:

They can't run from him, he's most definitely faster than them (unless they run professionally) and his stamina is also better than theirs.

They can't lock him out, because he will break door open or, if that doesn't work, he can just lock pick them.

He knows how to shoot a gun and he's gotten 'knife training' from at least one serial killer. He's small, but it took several people to pull him of Riko, so chances fighting him probably also aren't great.

They can't hide, because he was on the run for several years, and knows how people hide themselves, or he can probably ask one of the people from his ✨mysterious binder✨ to find someone.

On top of that, he would be verbally destroying you the whole time.

Of course he does have his mafia connections and can simply hire a hitman, if he feels lazy. He actually does use those to get at least 2 people that we know of killed.

andrew's first pro game in the city aaron lives. he doesn't send tickets or ask aaron to come and he doesn't even tell aaron his team is coming to town. if aaron wants to come he will. andrew can't make him do anything.

between quarters, the jumbo tron is showing a "look-a-like" game on the screen where the camera operators find people in the crowd who look like different celebrities or animated characters. andrew's not paying any attention to it when the crowd goes wild. a teammate nudges him to look up and lo and behold, wearing a Minyard jersey is andrew minyard's look-a-like, aaron minyard himself.

he rolls his eyes when the camera focuses back on him for the side-by-side shot and but aaron can see that andrew is actually very pleased.

as a lesbian I can confidently say that betsy dobson is 100% a lesbian because only a lesbian would like Andrew that much. her wife gave her an Minyard 03 jacket and she cried i SAW it!!! they bake a cake together for Andrew's birthday every year, they call it Choco Explosion and it is heart shaped

many obvious reasons that andrew found it so surreal coming back after getting sober and finding neil still there but one of the ones nobody talks about is neil’s reaction to the nest. like he just straight up did not care. yeah weeks of torture no big deal. like that has to be a headfuck… kevin is shitscared at even the mention of the nest & andrew knows the depth of kevin’s fear more than anyone and neil comes back looking like a different person with a million fresh injuries & is just like yea whatever :/ ??? ?? ???? andrew had to have been thinking who the fuck is this guy and just how Stupid is he. no wonder he hates him

I wanna see more andreil "arguments" that's just them being petty assholes to each other. andrew calls neil an idiot on a plane one time and neil tells him "we are 32,000 feet in the air"

Poor Logan went from having no one to haveing a adhd boyfriend a daughter a wired ass coke addicted elderly blind roommate and a wrinkly naked rat dog in the span of two days and I know he is just there trying to process what the fuck is happening
