Dear Disney, more brown girls with water affinities please I’m in love with them all 💖😌
I needed this. So Much. It's perfect
I know so many people are disappointed that Dean didn’t get to experience free will before he died, but I am here to offer a positive perspective.
Before Jack and Cas rebuilt Heaven, with Dean in mind, it was not a place that Dean would have enjoyed. The individual spaces where people lived out their happiest memories for eternity sounds nice on the surface, but under that facade it’s really just a prison, and Dean saw that horror very clearly. But by the time he died his last, permanent death, he had come to peace with that fate. I mean, no matter what, he was going to die someday, and that was going to be waiting for him, right? Might as well accept it for what it is.
When he saw Bobby sitting on the Roadhouse porch, his first question was “what memory is this?”
He expected a prison. A very nice, upscale one, but a prison nonetheless.
But that’s not what it was. Jack and Cas, out of love for Dean (and Sam; TFW 5ever), used what he taught them, and reformed the whole thing. Something they couldn’t have, wouldn’t have done without his influence. He changed Castiel from an Angel of the Lord, to an Angel of the Winchester, who loved and understood Humanity in a way that no other angel ever could. He showed Jack how to enjoy the little things in life, and the importance of experiencing those things with loved ones.
And what did they do with that knowledge? They broke down the walls. They destroyed the prison complex. Everyone can walk freely through the fields of Heaven. And from the looks of Harvelle’s it appears they can still have the things they loved most from Earth.
Dean can go for joyrides in his Baby. He can visit his family and his friends any time he wants. When he’s ready, and he has all of eternity to become ready, he can choose to pray to Castiel to get his feathered ass over here so they can work out their relationship. (And as a celestial being who has experienced eons of existence, Castiel has the patience to wait for him, trust me. Growing older makes your perspective on time change, and Castiel is Very Old, after all. And he’s had his midlife crisis, so he’s probably chill again with waiting. Anyway, that’s a side rant lol)
Dean chooses to wait to do all of those things until Sammy is able to join him. Because Heaven, all of Heaven, has been rebuilt to be HIS. And Dean Winchester’s Heaven looks a lot like Freedom.
I’ve been a little bit obsessed with bnha ww
Some of y’all can’t seem to comprehend that the show isn’t the books, and it was never trying to be.
Loving the books SHOULD NOT EQUAL hating the show and vice versa. Because they’re not the same, and that’s the point.
They’re different stories that take place in different times, different mediums, and different universes. It always intended to deviate from the source material. This was mentioned several times during the press tour.
If you’re mad that your favorite line, theme, or moment from the book isn’t there, you are not here for the show. You are here for the books, and that was your first mistake.
The show is flawed. I know. It has problems.
But if you want to criticize the show, ask yourself if your criticism still stands without comparing it to the books. If it can’t, ask yourself why it matters. Then get over it.
Thanks for coming to my angry TEDTalk.

Okay so I may have spent the greater part of the day thinking about this instead of studying but like image:
The Skywalker twins are born earlier in the war & despite the fact that they are all deeply involved in the war Padme + Anakin + Obi Wan (because lets be real he’s parent #3) decide they are going to use paid babysitters as little as possible and have the twins with them as much as possible.
It becomes quickly (and semi-reluctantly) accepted by everyone that Padme and Obi Wan will have a twin or two swaddled against their chests during meetings.
Padme debates policies on the Senate floor with Luke asleep in a sling.
Obi Wan helps organize troop movements with Leia held in one arm, the other hand and just a touch of the Force to keep her entertained.
Anakin quickly masters the art of moving around ships to repair/enhance with Leia strapped to his chest and Luke his back.
It becomes a common sight to see Ahsoka walking through the halls of the Jedi Temple or the Senate Building with one of the children taking them to one of their parents because “Obi Wan was helping teach the younglings and they got fussy” or “Anakin and I have been sent on an impromptu mission and he’s finishing preparations”.
R2-D2 learns that if you rock the carrier they are in the human infants will stop its screeching.
Half the clones have at some point one of them unceremoniously shoved into their hands with the order of “keep them safe and get them out of here” because a situation has suddenly and unexpectedly erupted into violence and their parent/s are about to run into the fray.
Bail Organa has a small supply of baby toys/a spare set of clothes in his office for occasions where something has come up and Padme needs to go NOW and “would you mind? Just until Obi Wan can get here from the temple?”
There are even times where Mace ends up with one of them in his custody. He spends the time informing them of all the traits of their parents they are not to inherit, starting with “having children with Senators in the middle of a war”
I think I could go on forever but just the Skywalker twins ending up with like 100 unintentional non-blood aunt/uncles because there is a war going on & their parents are determined to use as little hired help as possible (so instead all their friends end up being roped into it)
Noir Princesses by Ástor Alexander
When someone asks why I’m so invested in the Crows in Shadow and Bone even though they didn’t do anything plot related the entire season:
Harley Keener was the son Tony accidentally found. Tony was in a dark place, but there was a kid in Tennessee in need of a new dad. Over the years, they kept in touch, and Tony became the only father figure Harley had ever known.
Peter Parker was the son Tony never meant to have. The kid was always getting himself into trouble, from burning buildings to recklessly confronting bad guys. But as they grew closer, Peter became Tony’s son as much as Harley had been, and Tony became his role model — the person he looked up to the most.
Tony saved the world, partly for Peter. Because that’s just what he did for his children.
Morgan Stark was the daughter Tony wanted. Even though she was the only one related to Tony by blood, she certainly wasn’t his only child. Tony vowed never to make any mistake by her, and he saved the world for her too. He protected her as fiercely as he could, till the very end.
Even though Tony Stark never had a father of his own, he never hesitated to provide support to every single one of his children. Tony loved them in his own way, and they loved him back 3000.
Because no one was a better father than him.
