A/N: Hello everyone! Welcome to my 200th fanfiction on AO3! This is the story of Sabine traveling to Dagobah to pass her Jedi Trial. Here is the beginning and if you want to read the rest of the story, the link will be at the end :)
As soon as the T-6 landed on Dagobah, Sabine felt cold. Though she wanted to believe that it was only the temperature on the swamp planet which was low, she had grown attune enough to the Force to know the truth. Something evil lurked on this planet. She checked her armor on herself once more, making sure every piece was secured. She was about to pick up her blasters when Ahsoka pulled them away from her.
“Not today,” she told her, and handed her her lightsaber instead.
Sabine took the weapon with a slight grimace and looked down at the hilt. The gravity of the moment fell on her at once. Her heart was beating hard in her throat, a mix of anticipation, nervousness, and fear. Ahsoka must have felt it too, as she placed a hand on her shoulder.
“You’ll be fine. Just remember your training.”
Sabine nodded, and placed the lightsaber at her belt. Ahsoka opened the ramp. Huyang stood by the exit. He gave Sabine a nod before she stepped out. She returned it. Outside, the swamp smelled foul, the water an acrid blue color in some places and disgustingly muddy in others. Ahsoka walked between the ponds, stepping over the strong gnarled roots of the trees. Sabine followed.
“I had to think long and hard about your trial,” her master explained. “You’ve been through so much already.”
“Does that mean we can skip the trials and knight me right away?” Sabine joked.
Her master only rolled her eyes.
“This is where Luke Skywalker came to receive his training. He was given the same trial I am about to give you.”
“It can’t be too hard then,” Sabine replied, mostly to reassure herself.
“He failed his,” Ahsoka added, making her apprentice grimace.

Chapter is up! Thank you all for your patience <3
Unfortunately the final chapter of I Can Wait for You at the Bottom will be delayed because AO3 is down for maintenance and I will be in class once the website is up and running again. I will do my best to post it before 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time but otherwise it will have to wait until tonight... Sorry guys 😔

A/N: Hello everyone! Here is a little birthday surprise from me to you all (that's not how birthday works but I don't care). Here is the beginning and the link to the rest of the story is at the end :)
Shin paced the alley she was stationed in, muttering to herself:
“Dar'tome… Mhi solus Dar’tome…”
She paused both her mumbling and her pacing as she forced her brain to recall the next sentence.
“Mhi solus… no. Mhi… me’dinui…”
“Shin? What are you mumbling about?”
Sabine’s voice in her earpiece sent such panic in her bones that Shin froze completely.
“Nothing… Just counting the time…”
She hadn’t realized her comms had been on. She thought she would have a few minutes of calm to practice her Mando’a.
“It’s been a while since the target has gone inside,” she said quickly, hoping to divert the conversation away from her.
“I still have a visual on her,” Sabine confirmed. “I’ll let you know when she’s out.”
“Copy that.”
Quiet fell, and Shin hoped her girlfriend had turned off her comms again. However, after a long minute, Sabine said:
“Something’s troubling you.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Force bond, remember? I can feel it. So, what is it?”
Shin bit her lower lip.
“Nothing. The mission is my priority. It always is.”
“Okay,” Sabine replied, though she sounded unconvinced.

A/N: Hello everyone! I just started postin a new multi-chapter fic which is a rival kingdoms AU but most importantly, a childhood friends to enemies to lovers. Here is the beginning and if you want to read the whole chapter, the link will be at the end!
Echo Base was buzzing with an energy that Sabine couldn’t understand. She didn’t feel excited or anxious. She felt dreadful. Her stomach had become the epicenter of her body. It was the pit of darkness that invaded her chest with every news from the frontline, the source of the shaking in her limbs whenever she walked the dark corridors of the base. She felt like puking every other minute. For the first time in her life, she wanted nothing but to stay in bed and perish. But she had a duty to accomplish, and she wouldn’t be able to see her bed again until victory had been secured.
The enemy had a strong resistance. But the Ravine would fall, and once they had lost this strategic position, Clan Wren’s advance would be unstoppable. Sabine wasn’t sure whether she wanted them to win anymore. Legs trembling with every step, she entered the command center, where her subordinates were looking over a map of the region. The Ravine cut a stark line in the middle of the hologram. It was very deep to be sure, but only fifteen feet across. They would hang temporary bridges to get their people across, or at least that was their plan.
When Sabine stepped into the room, the subordinates all stood to attention. Sabine set her helmet in the corner of the table. She had worn her armor so often recently, it felt like a second skin, but today it felt colder than usual. She surveyed the map. Each little gold dot on their side was a brigade of twelve warriors. She couldn’t count all the dots. On the other side, the black dots were advancing back toward the ravine.
“Everyone is in position for the final push, your Highness,” one of her subordinates said.
She could see it plainly. The crawlers were driving forward, advancing with their troops. On the other side, the black dots had brought their own tanks, slower but plated. They formed a line that her Mandalorians would have to pass through.
“I was just on the phone with the Queen,” Sabine said, her eyes scanning the holographic map still, as if she would find something she had missed. “She is expecting results. If this battle doesn’t turn the tide, then we are all fighting for nothing.”
“Wren, Wren,” the subordinate began to chant, and Sabine had to hide a grimace. She could really do without the blind devotion right now.
She picked up her helmet and put it on, as much to ready herself for a fight as to hide her face.
“Have you confirmed the intel we received. Is it true?”
“Yes, your Highness. Lady Hati was spotted on the other side of the Ravine.”
Sabine bit her lower lip. Fuck her luck.
“She will be leading her people. I ought to lead mine.”
She glanced one last time at the map, wondering where the blonde would be. First in line, probably. She was insane enough to run straight into the enemy line without armor, she knew.
“Ring the bell. We’re moving out.”

Is this how we should imagine Sabine casually showing off for Shin at the stronghold? ⛸️😂
Loved the fic! ✨
🤣🤣 Thank you! And yes I can absolutely see it! Sabine is just doing the coolest stuff meanwhile Shin is looking like Bambi trying to keep up XD
A/N: Hello everyone! I come bearing another addition to my Ahsoka season 2 and beyond series on this final day of the year! This one is rated E and it is about Shin and Sabine cleaning up Wren Stronghold. Here is the beginning and if you want to read the whole story, the link will be at the end!
The ETA-class shuttle landed on the frosted landing pad, its heat roasting the ice which had settled years ago. The spaceship touched the ground roughly, as a patch of ice beneath its legs gave way, splintering with a crack under its weight. Sabine grimaced. She remembered clearing the ice of this very landing pad as punishment for some trouble she had caused. Now, it, like all of Wren stronghold, had been left for nature to do what it did best: take over.
“Should we unload?” Shin asked from the co-pilot seat.
Sabine considered their options. They had brought many supplies to fix up the stronghold, and a lot of food, as they had no idea how long the repair job would take. But most of all, Sabine feared the boiler might be dead and unfixable, in which case they wouldn’t last the night.
“Let’s check inside first.”
They walked through the cluttered body of the long ship, where all their supplies were packed, and Sabine opened the hatch. As the ramp unfurled, the cold wind of Krownest infiltrated the ship. Sabine had not felt it in years. A familiar shiver ran over her body. Shin had seldom felt cold like this. She bundled deeper into her fur-lined coat.
The ground was slippery on the landing pad, which was to be expected. Not a single ship had been left behind. The whole clan had gone to Mandalore to fight the Empire. All of Clan Wren’s ships had been destroyed with their owners, in that same night of carnage.
Sabine walked briskly to the door, feeling the emptiness keenly. Shin looked around. Sabine had told her about the stronghold being near a lake, but she had failed to mention the snowy mountain range surrounding them and the endless forest of pine that lounged on their slopes. If she wasn’t freezing, she might have taken in the view longer.
Sabine broke the ice over the door panel with the butt of her lightsaber. Once it flipped open, she saw the inside wasn’t damaged. She could thank her mother for her impeccable maintaining of the stronghold. She pushed the emergency lever down, and with a groan hungry for oil, it lowered and opened the door.
The inside of the stronghold was dark. Sabine pulled a flashlight from her pocket and turned it on. At a first glance, she couldn’t spot any ice within. She hummed.
“There might be hope yet.”

Happy New Year :)
Thank you for all the Wolfwren fic. I’ve loved every single one of them. I am blown away by how you keep churning them out. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a very happy new year. 😊
Thank you very much <3 If I'm being honest I've also surprised myself a lot with how quickly and how many stories I've been able to write since I started but it has been a blast, and I'm really glad you've loved them as well :) Happy holidays to you as well!!
A/N: Hello everyone! Merry Christmas! As advertised multiple times I've posted a Christmas one-shot set in my High School AU. Here is the beginning and if you want to read the whole story the link will be at the end!
The Life Day Market of Capital City was the biggest in Lothal. The whole plaza at the foot of the central tower was taken over by lights, wooden chalets and all the Life Day decorations the place could handle, green and red and gold everywhere the eye stopped. People lined up for warm drinks and hot treats. Vendors displayed jewelry and paintings and socks, the perfect gift for your family on Life Day. And Sabine had had the terrible idea of letting Hera sign her up as a volunteer, again.
All the streets leading into the plaza had been closed off except two, the entrance and the exit. A banner hung above the entrance, welcoming everyone into the market. If it wasn’t enough, however, Sabine was the extra welcome. She sat in a tiny wooden box at the corner of the entrance, too cramped up to move. She was supposed to give additional information to the people, but she wasn’t even sure what information she could give them. There was no map to the market, it was made up of two concentric circles of cabins and impossible to get lost in. The time the market opened and closed? They had a big sign near every entrance for that. People walked by her without sparing her a glance, probably as confused by her presence as she was annoyed by it. She scrolled on her phone, draining the battery to keep boredom at bay. She’d brought a pad and pencil to draw but she barely had the space to move her arms.
At least she had avoided the role of one of the droids in the Santa Clause factory like the year before, she thought as Ezra brushed his way back to her, dressed in a poor man’s droid’s costume.
“Why did I have to be a droid?” he complained as he leaned over the small counter of Sabine’s booth.
“I don’t know what’s more cramped. This box or your droid costume.”
“It’s the costume, trust me.”
He tugged on the sleeves yet they continued to hike up past his wrists.
“Anyway, Hera is asking if you want a snack.”
Sabine sighed. The only privilege of working for the market was that they didn’t have to cue twenty minutes for a crepe. Still, with her legs cramping up and her elbows rubbing against wood all day, it didn’t feel worth it. And if the PA system behind her played that stupid Life Day song again, she was going to take it down herself.
Ezra stared at her, waiting for an answer. Her gaze migrated away from her brother to the familiar blonde who had just squeezed through the crowd at the entrance. A big smile appeared on Sabine’s lips as she spotted Shin. She waved at her. Shin gave her a small smile and brushed past the crowd to get to her.

A/N: Hello everyone! I just posted a short Christmas fic. It's pre-relationship but I hope it will still keep you entertained until I post my bigger Wolfwren Christmas fic on Christmas day! Here is the beginning and the link to the full story will be at the end!
Days didn’t quite track from one galaxy to the next. Although Huyang’s internal clock would tell them of some special day which had come to pass, no one had the mind to celebrate. Life Day had come and gone with barely a mention, and no song was sung and no gifts were exchanged.
The Noti had their own version of Life Day. Sabine watched them decorate their homes with leaf garlands and pieces of moss. They picked out flat rocks and shells and, come the day of, gifted them to their family and friends. A handful of them gave Sabine gifts and, as she was feeling bad that she had nothing to give in return, she gifted the rocks and the small white seashells back.
That evening, the Noti played music and gathered around a central fire pit, where they cooked and the elder told stories to entertain the young. Sabine, Ahsoka, and Huyang watched from the edge, near their own little campfire. The T-6 had been left higher on the plain behind them, looming over the Noti camp. They watched the Noti tradition with interest, until Sabine spoke:
“I can’t believe Life Day exists even in another galaxy.”
“I’m certain they wouldn’t call it that,” Huyang replied.
“You know what I mean. The singing, the exchange of gifts, all we’re missing is a tree and the candles. And the snow.”
The droid interjected:
“The original Wookie tradition does not require snow in the slightest. Kashyyyk is a temperate planet covered at 87% of jungles. They only experience snow on the poles where the Wookiees do not live.”
Sabine rolled her eyes.
“I grew up on Krownest, remember? What does your encyclopedia tell you about Krownest?”

A/N: Hello everyone! I have just posted the first part of three of my new fanfiction! It is based on some revelations about Shin's character that were released recently. This is the beginning, but if you want to read the whole story, the link will be at the end!
Baylan’s trail had grown cold. Shin had followed him as far as she could, through forests and mountains. Ahead, a ruin was stuck between two cliffs, as if the earth had opened to swallow it, only to find its taste repugnant. Shin couldn’t blame the earth either. It was a Dathomirian ruin. Every step she took toward it made her skin crawl.
She had always hated witches and their magick, for as long as she could remember. She’d had faith in her master and would not have questioned his involvement with Elsbeth, but she had hated the woman and every second spent with her had been nerve wracking. She was glad the witch was dead.
Behind her, her ash-colored howler whined and pulled on its leash. It didn’t want to enter the ruins either. Shin had grown used to its cowardly way now. She turned to it and ordered:
“Tota.”
The howler fell on its haunches, its tongue lolling out of its huge mouth. She patted it between the ears then walked away. She climbed ancient fallen borders to get to the entrance of the temple. The sun was behind the tall cliffs, their shadows soaking the warmth out of the air. Shin brought her cape tighter around her. The shivers running down her back were not caused by the cold, however, but by the eerie energy coming off the temple.
Two statues held the entrance up, their bodies snapped to pieces but kept upright by moss. Shin could barely guess their features. She assumed they were witches of some kinds. What else could witches worship but themselves? Shin stepped through the doorway. The anxious energy she felt grew tenfold, making the back of her brain buzz with discomfort. The roof of the temple was partially collapsed, leaving holes of light to fall within. The vegetation of Peridea had taken back its place within the structure. Moss and grass carpeted the cracked stone floor in equal measure. All the windows were blocked by the cliffs on either side. The head of the giant statue at the end of the room had snapped at the neck and fallen to the ground. The neck and shoulders were covered with sticks and feathers, nests made not too long ago.
Shin took a few steps forward, her footsteps echoing through the temple. She couldn’t see any sign of her master, but knowing him and his quest, he must have come through, she thought. She closed her eyes, feeling for the Force and his presence in it. Nothing came to her, as usual. If only she’d mastered it more. She’d spent so many years with her master but could emulate so few of the things he’d taught her. Sometimes, she couldn’t help but wonder why he had taken her as his apprentice when she wasn’t talented. Maybe he had been right to leave her behind, she thought bitterly. She would have only slowed him down.

A/N: Hello everyone! Here is the beginning of my new one-shot about Shin and Sabine getting their own apartment. If ou want to read the whole story, the link will be at the end!
Sabine woke up in her bed in the communication tower, bright morning light coming in through the high windows of the circular room. She grumbled and stretched, only to realize that she had the space to stretch. This was a twin bed. Usually, Shin and her could barely move when they laid side by side on the bed. She scanned the tower, looking for her girlfriend. She expected the blonde to be in the kitchen making breakfast perhaps. Maybe Murley had woken her up because he wanted to be fed. When she couldn’t see her, she called, her voice groggy:
“Shin?”
A hum answered from the floor. Sabine looked down. Shin was lying flat on the floor with her pillow and a blanket wrapped around her like a flat bread. She kept her back to the light, turned toward the bed.
“What are you doing down there?” Sabine asked with a frown. “Did I push you off?”
“Not really,” Shin mumbled as she brushed her eyes open. “I was feeling a bit cramped is all. I’m used to sleeping on the floor anyway.”
“You should have woken me up.”
“What for? Not much you can do. Bed’s small, that’s just how it is.”
Sabine sat up, swigging both legs over the edge of the bed, mindful of her girlfriend still laying on the floor.
“We could always buy a bigger bed.”
“To put where?”
Sabine bit her lower lip. Shin had a point. The tower was already pretty cramped as it were with all of Sabine’s junk. They would have to push some things around to fit a double bed. Sabine pouted at her girlfriend. She sank to her knees beside her.
“Poor baby.”
Sabine crawled over her until she was half-laying on top of her. Shin turned to accommodate her, a smile on her lips despite the sun in her eyes.
“Kicked off the bed? That’s evil.”
“You can always make it up to me,” Shin replied as she threaded her fingers through Sabine’s short hair.

A/N: Hello everyone! I've just begun posting a new multi-chapter fic. It's based on the romance between Obi-Wan and Satine, but this time it's Shin and Sabine. I hope you'll enjoy it :) Here is the beginning and if you want to read the whole thing, the link will be at the end!
Shin could count how many times she’d left Coruscant on one hand. This would be her sixth times, officially calling for the use of a second hand to count. They were bound for Mandalore. She sat in the co-pilot seat, watching the stars flash around them, boxing their small ship into a tunnel of light. Baylan sat on the other side of the cockpit, his gaze not on the galaxy around them but on his padawan.
“What is the title given to the leader of Madalore?”
Shin had to tear her eyes away from the lights. She looked back at her master, then her gaze fell to the ground as she searched her memory. She’d been given a crash course on Mandalorian politics by the librarian before leaving, but it had been pretty late at night and she had fallen asleep on her desk four times in an hour.
“The Mandalore?”
“Mand’alor. It has been a long time since the Mandalorians have chosen a Mand’alor, hence yet another civil war.”
“Master, if this is the third civil war in as many generations, what can we truly do to help them?”
Baylan sighed. Shin knew her master wasn’t entirely thrill by their assignment, but it had been too long since he had been given any mission, and the Council knew that. Whatever the case may be, Shin was determined to make the most of the assignment.
“We will do what the Council has asked of us. We will protect the Countess Wren for as long as is required.”
The ship let out a beep, indicating they would soon exit hyperspace. Baylan turned his attention back to the controls and Shin imitated him. While her master wasn’t thrilled about joining a civil war, Shin wasn’t thrilled about their target. She imagined the Countess to be like all the politicians in Coruscant, probably old and full of ideas that would be impossible to execute even in the best of times. The kind of politicians who practiced their cordial smiles in the mirror every morning. This Countess was apparently the Mandalorians’ greatest chance at peace. Shin couldn’t quite believe that.

A/N: Hello everyone! I'm back at it again with a one-shot set in my Ahsoka season 2 universe. Here is the beginning, and if you want to read the whole story, the link will be at the end!
The sound of wooden swords clashing against each other filled the training room. Sabine dodged Shin’s lunge with a chuckle and struck back. Shin pivoted to counter, then took a step back.
“Maybe someday you’ll land a hit on me,” Shin bragged, the training sword twirling in her hand.
Sabine exhale, taking the short break to catch her breath.
“What would I get for touching you?”
“Moving on from training swords?” Shin suggested.
Sabine rolled her eyes.
“Oh sure, let’s fight with real lightsabers inside a ship. I’m sure Hera will be totally cool with that…”
Shin didn’t let Sabine finish her sentence. She lunged at her again, forcing Sabine to parry. Her defense was unsteady and Shin slid her foot beneath Sabine’s calf, sweeping her leg from under her. Sabine crashed to the floor with a huff.
“Maybe I should ask for something that will really annoy you,” Sabine contemplated from the floor before she pushed herself up.
“Like what?”
“I’m thinking about it.”
Sabine let out another breath, pushing past her exhaustion. She charged with a vertical strike. Shin deflected the blow and retaliated. They traded blows, the room echoing with the sharp thwack of wood on wood and their tired breaths. Sabine aimed for Shin’s ribs and she would have gotten her if Shin hadn’t blocked the blade with the Force. Sabine stepped back.
“Cheating.”
“I know from experience bruised ribs take their time healing.”
“I was just going to give you a little tap, cheater.”

A/N: Hello everyone! I posted a new Wolfwren one-shot, and this one is my first 5+1: five times Shin and Sabine's makeout sessions was interrupted and the one time it wasn't. Here is the beginning, and if you want to read the whole story, the link will be at the end!
Shin joining their ship had been quite productive for Sabine’s training, or so Ahsoka thought. Huyang was of the other mind. Shin was a distraction for Sabine. But Ahsoka thought the blonde was a great help. She provided another sparring partner for Sabine and pushed her to improve faster. Sabine was too competitive not to rise to Shin’s challenge. They pushed each other to be better, which Ahsoka approved.
Shin disarmed Sabine again, her training sword flying against the wall of the T-6. Ahsoka had been watching from the sideline. When Sabine tried summoning the sword back to her with the Force, Ahsoka shook her head.
“She barely had to use any force to disarm you.”
“Maybe I’m tired…” Sabine panted out.
Both of the fighters were breathing hard and sweating, though Shin was less open to showing her exhaustion, standing tall still. Ahsoka picked up Sabine’s discarded sword and handed it back to her.
“You both are. What I wanted you to see is that Shin used your attack against you and leveraged it to disarm you.”
“Good for her.”
Ahsoka gave her that look that meant she wasn’t taking Sabine’s attitude. Still, she could concede that they had been training for some time now.
“I’ll grab you some water. We can go again after.”
She left the two women in the central room and headed into the kitchen. There, Huyang was conducting an inventory check, so they could replenish their supplies at Home One – and they had used a lot of supplies on Peridea.
“Any water left?”
Huyang motioned for a corner of the room where a handful of glass bottles had been tugged. Ahsoka picked up one and rummaged for glasses through the cupboard.
“Are you sure you should leave these two unsupervised?” Huyang asked.
Ahsoka shook her head.
“They’re not children. It has been some time since they’ve been at each other’s throat.”
“That is not where my concern lies.”

As in one (Shin/Scott) has not changed their hairstyle in years - and at this point the Universe would shatter if they changed it - and the other (Sabine/Ramona) change hair color every week and their partner better get used to it
A/N: Hey everyone! I just posted a new one-shot, this one as you can see is rated E ;) Here is the beginning of the story, but if you want to read the whole thing, the link is at the end!
Shin woke up to the sound of delicate scratching. She smiled and turned in bed, away from the morning light coming in through the window. Lothal mornings were always blinding. She had to blink a few times until her eyes stopped watering. She rubbed them, stretched, feeling the blanket falling away from her, then finally opened her eyes. Just as she had predicted, Sabine was seated at the edge of the bed with her leather-bound notebook on her lap, and a sharp piece of graphite in her hand.
“Did you have to turn?” she asked Shin once she had opened her eyes.
Shin didn’t reply right away. First, she sat up and grabbed the back of Sabine’s head, kissing her. When they parted, Shin glanced at the notebook. Sabine had been drawing her naked back with the sheets drawn up to her waist. Shin lay back down against the pillow.
“You know I love annoying you.”
Sabine rolled her eyes. As if to prove Shin wrong, she picked up the graphite again and began another sketch of her. Shin reclined back down, staring at Sabine.
“I didn’t expect you would be drawing me first thing in the morning.”
Sabine had sketched her before in that very special notebook. It was a gift from Mon Mothma for service rendered to the Galaxy. It was near impossible to find that much paper anymore, and for a long time, Sabine had preserved the gift, using it sparingly. For the past few weeks, however, she had been filling every page with drawings of Shin.
“I was just looking at you and the urge came over me. Can you blame me?”
“I give you the uncontrollable urge to draw?”
Sabine chuckled.
“It’s almost like I find you beautiful or something.”

And with that busy month ahead of us, I hope you will enjoy reading these stories as much as I enjoyed writing them!
The people have spoken!
I need help for my next fic: In your opinion, if Shin had been a formally trained Jedi, would her lightsaber had been green (mastery over the Force) or blue (exceptional aptitude in combat)?
A/N: Hello everyone! Welcome to my new wolfwren multi-chapter fic! This is a Modern/Neighbor AU, it is full of angst and hurt/comfort. Here is an extract from the first chapter, and the link to the full story will be at the end!
She sighed and sipped her coffee. Really, this apartment was perfect. It was close to the city center. The view was incredible. The only problem was the balcony itself. She leaned over the railing, and looked at her neighbor’s balcony, which stood a mere three feet from hers. It was a strange design flaw. How could anyone think this was a good idea, she thought just about every morning. She sipped her coffee, then frowned. Those gray curtains weren’t there before. Had someone moved in across from her while she was gone?
Murley stretched on the threshold then stepped onto the balcony. He hopped into an empty pot and curled inside. Sabine kept it empty on purpose, and shifted it every so often so that it got as much sun as it could. Sabine kept her gaze on the curtains across from her. A shadow moved behind them, but the curtains, although they looked flimsy, were opaque enough to hide the figure.
“Hello?” Sabine tried calling.
Their window was shut. They would never hear her over the sounds of the city. She took a sip of coffee and contemplated her options. She could just let it go, move on with her day. Go to the gym like she had planned. She would come across them eventually. But they basically shared a balcony. They should meet sooner rather than later. Her former neighbor used to hang all his socks on his balcony because they were made from expensive cotton, or some silly material, and Murley tried a few times to play with the socks. Needless to say, they fell down four stories more often than any sock ever had. She wanted to meet her new neighbor. But it seemed it would be impossible to catch their attention, unless they actually stepped onto the balcony. She didn’t have all day.
Taking another sip of coffee, she returned inside. Music was still blasting from the kitchen. Sabine set her mug down and grabbed her bagel. She glanced at the speaker. The volume dial was only halfway up. She could crank it more. She turned it up a bit, then a bit more, then a bit more. Rock music flared into the apartment. Sabine glanced at her phone and waited.
It took fifty-nine seconds for someone to come pounding on her door. Sabine smirked and took another sip of coffee. She waited for more pounding, then lowered the music and shouted:
“Coming!”

A/N: Hello everyone! I have added a new story to my "Ahsoka season 2 and beyond" series, this one about a mission on Hoth! Here is the beginning and if you want to read the full story the link will be at the end!
“Sabine? Sabine? Sabine!”
Shin pushed past her and, contracting the Force above her like a muscle, deflected the snow away from them, blocking the path between them and the stormtroopers hot on their tails. A splash of powdery flakes fell on Sabine. The cold sharpened her mind, bringing her out of her thoughts. Shin turned around to look at her, but there was an indescribable expression on her face.
“Focus, damn it,” she barked at her.
The hissing of a flamethrower echoed on the other side of the wall of snow. They both knew they couldn’t linger. Sabine grabbed Shin by the wrist and took off running.
It had struck Sabine as ironic when they had been assigned the mission. The Empire was using the Rebellion’s former base on Hoth to hide. But now that they were in the thick of it, with no aerial support, she was as far from laughing as could be. Shin escaped her grasp and passed her, brushing against the walls of packed snow of the old trenches. The ammunition storage room would blow any minute now, and they better be out of there before it did.
Behind them, the stormtroopers had cleared the snow with a flamethrower and fired another rocket at them. It impacted on the wall beside them, leaving a melted spot and making the once sturdy snow crumple onto itself. Sabine flinched and picked up the pace. With one blaster in hand, she tried to aim back at them, however the trenches were irregular and their enemies used the terrain to avoid her shots as much as they did.
Ahead, they reached one of the caves that led further into the base. Shin unlocked the heavy door with the Force and pulled it open. As soon as both she and Sabine were inside, Shin shut the door behind them and bent the mechanism inside to prevent the stormtroopers from following.
“Where is Ahsoka?”

A/N: Hello everyone! I just uploaded a new one-shot on AO3, it is an art gallery AU and also it is E rated ;) Here is the beginning and if you want to read the whole thing, the link will be at the end!
As Shin grabbed another glass of champagne, she wondered why they never served anything stronger than champagne at all those business meetings. On the one hand, she could understand wanting to be clear-minded while talking business. On the other, these functions were always so boring. If she had known that she would have to attend these regularly when she agreed to work for Baylan, she would have gone back to working the graveyard shift at Dex’s Diner. It paid almost just as much and she didn’t have to deal with pedantic assholes, only the regular variety.
She wondered between the art pieces without sparing them more than a glance. She only needed to look busy, so Baylan wouldn’t reprimand her for standing around in a corner. If she looked as if she were participating, she could have a relatively unbothered evening. She kept one hand in the pocket of her gray suit, the other holding the glass and twirling the content within. That was the only anxious fidgeting she was allowed. She couldn’t check her phone every minute because it would only depress her, and the only clock on the wall was a piece of art, one of those melted clocks that no one found original anymore.
When a group of trader-looking men stood at the end of her path, blocking her access to the rest of the room, she had no other choice but to stop and contemplate the painting hanging from the wall. It was a Mandalorian helmet, or at least someone wearing a Madanlorian helmet, but every refraction of the light on the helmet was wrong, distorted, it showed too much or too little.
“Pretty interesting, don’t you think?”
“No, not really,” Shin replied as she turned to the woman who had joined her.
She was awestruck for a second, but a second was all she allowed herself. The woman had short purple hair, brushed back and away from her clever brown eyes. A mole stood out at the edge of her cheekbone. Her hands were tugged in the pockets of a dark orange suit jacket. Beneath, she wore a form-fitting top. Upon hearing Shin’s reply, she frowned.
“You don’t find it interesting?”
“No, I don’t. I find it pretentious.”

A/N: Hello everyone! I just posted a new Wolfwren fic about Shin and Sabine having a little "friendly" speeder bike race. Here is a little excerpt and if you want to read the rest of the story the link will be at the end!
Shin knocked back her drink and searched the bar for the clock over the shelves of bottles. It wasn’t too late yet; they might just get another drink before going home. Before she could wave at the bartender, Ezra asked:
“How about you guys? What’s going on?”
“Tracking down more former Empire scum, as usual,” Sabine said with a sigh. “We were on Eadu hunting a bunch of Empire scavengers. The base was pretty big. A Speeder bike chase might have happened. Shin crashed hers against a shuttle.”
Shin straightened at the mention of her name, then frowned.
“On purpose,” she added. “To stop them from taking off.”
Sabine finished her glass with a smile.
“Of course, you did.”
That wasn’t the answer Shin had expected.
“You think I don’t know how to drive a Speeder bike?”
“That’s not what I said.”
“I bet I’m even a better driver than you.”

A/N: Hello everyone! Here is the third part of my high school AU. You can read the beginning here and if you'd like the whole story, the link will be at the end!
Shin’s hands grew clammy around the handlebars of her bike as she followed her girlfriend through the cold streets of Capital City. Rows of houses decorated for Christmas zoomed past them, until they reached one which, in the late afternoon, flashed like a Christmas tree. Sabine threw her bike in the driveway without care. Shin was less careless. She set hers against the low wall of a planter. Sabine hopped over the path to the front door. She glanced behind her once she was at the door to make sure that Shin was following. Shin stood at the bottom of the three steps, trying not to appear nervous. This was her first time visiting Sabine’s home.
Sabine opened the door. Shin was overwhelmed for a second by the warmth of the place, and the smell of food baking in the kitchen. Pictures hung from frames on the walls and occupied most of the furniture space available. Sabine paid them no mind. She took off her coat then took Shin’s to hang it on the coatrack.
“Sabine, is that you?” a man’s voice called from deeper into the house while Sabine was taking off her shoes.
“Yep. Shin and I are just going to do our homework in my room. Then I want to show her the wall.”
“Alright. Have fun.”
Shin had barely toed off her shoes that Sabine grabbed her by the hand and led her upstairs. They disappeared through one of the doors, Sabine making sure to shut it after them. Shin dropped her backpack in a corner. Sabine, like a tornado, took off her sweater and turned on some rock music. Shin was about to ask her whether loud music was antithetic to doing their homework when Sabine returned to her and pinned her against the door.
“Is that why you brought me to your house?” Shin asked, hands grabbing Sabine’s waist.
“No, but you looked kinda cold. I figured you could use something to warm you up.”

A/N: Hello everyone! This is a one-shot sequel to my fanfiction "The Injury of Finally Knowing You" which ended last week. You will find the beginning of the one-shot below and if you want to read the whole thing the link will be at the end!
Sabine was growing tired of being captured. Even during her rebellion era, she couldn’t remember being captured that often. At least this time, she wasn’t alone.
Shin paced the prison cell, moving from one side to the other until she had given Sabine a headache. Sabine was reclined against the single bunk. They had taken her lightsaber, guns, helmet and removed her vambraces for good measure.
“Well, isn’t this fun?” she began.
While it had the intended objective of making Shin stop pacing, she didn’t expect her girlfriend to glare at her.
“Aren’t you enjoying our time together?”
“I would enjoy it more if we weren’t trapped in the brig of a Star Destroyer.”
Sabine shrugged.
“Any time together can be a fun time.”
Shin rolled her eyes and began pacing again.
“Oh, come on, babe. We’re fine.”
Shin whirled toward her. Sabine could read her like an open book now. The anxiety that lived in her eyes, the frustration that pulled her lips into a scowl, the confusion that made her brow furrow ever so.
“We are not fine, Sabine. We’ve been captured. How can you be so calm in such a moment? Need I remind you; this isn’t your life on the line here. If we fuck up, I will be paying the price.”

A/N: Hello everyone! This is the sequel to my halloween High School AU that a lot of you enjoyed! You will find the beginning of the story below but if you want to read the whole thing, the link will be at the end!
Shin unlocked her front door like a thief. She passed her head through and listened to the quiet home, waiting for Baylan’s calm strong voice to ask her if she was back from school. But he never spoke, because he wasn’t home yet. She had chosen this day specifically because Baylan worked later than usual. Once she was sure of it, she let Sabine in and locked the door behind them.
“This way,” she told her as she hurried up the stairs without giving Sabine a moment to look around the entrance hall or the living room.
Upstairs, she snuck Sabine into her bedroom. Her girlfriend paused on the threshold, taking in the room. The walls were that most neutral shade of gray. Shelves heavy with trophies hung on the walls, leaving little to no space for posters. A single one hung over her desk, an ad for a fight between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul. The room was clean without so much as a straight piece of clothing on the floor. Sabine took off her orange leather jacket, sat on the desk chair and pivoted it to face the room.
“I could help you repaint your room, if you’d like.”
Shin rolled her eyes and sat at the foot of her bed. She set her school backpack beside her and opened it.
“Help me pass Mando’a first, we can talk about repainting my room later.”
She pulled out her notebook and flipped through it. Her brain was completely phobic to Mando’a. She had been studying it for years at school, yet she could barely remember the minimum. And she had put it off for so long, focusing on her strongest subjects and her competitions that, now that she was actually likely to fail, the private lesson was an emergency. Lucky for her, her new girlfriend was fluent in Mando’a.
