“when you fall in love with someone else,” you speak softly, voice trembling with the weight in your words. glimmering eyes that shines with tears meets his, a shaky smile slipping on your lips.

“i hope you wouldn’t feel the need to cheat to be with your beloved.” you see his eyebrows furrow and his mouth open to retort, but you raise your hand to silence him. continuing on despite your heart cracking into million pieces.

“just tell me, okay? and i’d be willing to let you go.” your voice cracks, tears falling from your eyes. “i want you to remain the same lovely you in my eyes … so …” gaining the courage to meet his eyes, you let a heartbroken smile slip on your lips.

“please break my heart gently.”

CHILDE.

childe is someone who adores family and cares for everyone he loves. i think for the most part, he would be startled at what you just said.

he’d be very concerned, his once dead eyes shining with concern. he would think to himself if he ever did something to warrant such words from you.

when you explain what happened and why you feel like that, he can feel anger growing in his heart. he wants to talk to your father who made you feel like this and unable to love without fear.

do not worry, childe will reassure you that he will never cheat on you. he’ll never break your heart. though there will be tough times, childe will never resort to cheating.

ALBEDO.

albedo doesn’t understand much human emotions but he’s learned so much from you. happiness from small things, sadness from big things, genuine enjoyment and most importantly — love.

so when you blurt out such words, he’s really confused. did he do something? were you unhappy in your relationship with him? he knows he isn’t the best in expressing his love but he thought you knew he loved you.

when he finds out why you said such words, revealing to him your past and why you were so scared to fall in love with him. he would be so touched at first, that you took that leap of faith to be with him.

then he realizes the extent of your fears and your insecurities. he knows he isn’t the best at being a lover, but he assures you he won’t ever resort to such unforgivable methods.

KAZUHA.

kazuha is someone who is always straightforward. he doesn’t beat around the bush for the most part. when he hears your words, kazuha doesn’t waste time asking you what happened.

i think for him, loyalty is one of his most treasured traits. he, at first, thinks that he did something to cause a misunderstanding. when he learns what happened, kazuha would soothe you with his voice.

he won’t waste comforting you and reassuring you. he’ll tell you that you are his muse, his inspiration, his beloved and his one and only, no matter how cheesy.

though it does not sate your insecurities almost immediately, the happiness in your eyes is enough to make him smile. he’ll do anything to make you believe in love again.
