Eleven In The Tardis + series seven second part
When:
May 2, 2008 evening
What:
Head Scarf: mom’s Neck Scarf: ?? Jacket: Fred Segal (free) Dress: Vintage, Retroactive (FW, IN) Necklace (as belt): F21 Tights: We Love Colors Boots: vintage, thrifted
Where:
Dinner at Inotecha with Sarah and party at Spitzer’s Corner apres.
Why:
I’m feeling like a lux hippie tonight. I am down with the black eye makeup, but also down with the scarf around the head. When I get dressed up I don’t like to look too hoochie. I guess covering most of my arms/legs solves that. I also think the head scarf makes me look more approachable.
When:
April 15, 2008
What:
Workout stuff. Le Sportsac Bag.
Where:
traveling
Why:
I’m going to Hong Kong for the next few days for work. I am taking a non-stop flight that is 16 hours long. I am making absolutely no attempts to be remotely cute. This is about being able to sleep. And I am not going to be seen in public in my pajamas, so the next most comfy things are my work out clothes. Once on the plane I’ll put on these awesome knitted boots and ditch the shoes. I have two new books, earplugs and sleeping pills. Jet set!
And on a side note: not sure if I will be posting WIW while overseas, so see you a week from today!!
When:
March 21, 2008
What:
Dress: Target Scarf: vintage, thrifted Tights: We Love Colors Boots: Banana
Where:
To the office (where I should not be on Good Friday)
Why:
Like I’ve mentioned before, I’m much more comfortable in a dress and tights than in jeans. Don’t get me wrong, I am a jeans loving lady, but when I have to sit in one place nearly all day, jeans fast become uncomfortable. Maybe just because I like to squeeze myself in the tightest jeans possible, but that’s besides the point.
I love brown and navy together. I collect scarves and this darling was eager for her turn. And now I am running incredibly late, so until tomorrow…
Barack Obama and Joe Biden
President & Vice President of The United States Of America
Beach Day Roman Revolutionaries
When:
March 25, 2008
What:
Scarf: on the street, Chinatown Dress: Jessica Schroeder Designs (me!) Tights: Betsey Johnson Boots: Vintage, thrifted
Where:
Here, there, everywhere (but mainly to my desk)
Why:
People! I could not get dressed this morning! No inspiration. I only think this look is worthy because I threw in the bright colored, springy scarf. The dress is something I designed, pattern drafted and sewed up. These boots need to make a date with the cobbler asap if they want to see the light of day again. But really, I’m dreaming of sandals and more importantly- sand.
