To the office (where I should not be on Good Friday)

Why:

Like I’ve mentioned before, I’m much more comfortable in a dress and tights than in jeans. Don’t get me wrong, I am a jeans loving lady, but when I have to sit in one place nearly all day, jeans fast become uncomfortable. Maybe just because I like to squeeze myself in the tightest jeans possible, but that’s besides the point.

I love brown and navy together.  I collect scarves and this darling was eager for her turn. And now I am running incredibly late, so until tomorrow…

Blouse: vintage, thrifted Cardigan: cheap from HK Jeans: Topshop (on loan for a meeting) Flats: Target

Where:

Meeting with a buyer, in the office

Why:

Because colored denim is fresh! I am loving purple and green for summer/spring. These are on loan from the office.  When doing something reallyboldkeep your other elements rather neutral. Like a crazy printed blouse. You’re sensing the sarcasm. Right?

No matter how you mix it up, just don’t get delusional and think you’re rainbow bright. Keep your colorcard minimal.

Curlers: for big hair, from Target Cardi: HK Belt: Goodwill Dress: Tracy Reese Fishnets: Target Shoes: Naturalizers

Where:

Work, Birthday Drinks, Dinner

Why:

I think curlers are the coolest. I love wearing them around the house and I would probably not be phased by wearing them to the deli for coffee under a giant scarf. I’m old school. I rock it like that. And as for todays dress/colors, when the world gives you lemons, make some god damned lemonade! Pep up kiddo. I’m feeling a bit like Little Edie. Add some giant shades and a tap dance and I’m ready to go.
